At the last minute, John McCain cancelled his appearance on the David Letterman show last night, even though he decided to chat with Katie Couric for the CBS evening news.
Well, Dave was not happy, and that's putting it mildly.

McCain recently released a statement that he "didn't know much" about the economy, thus Obama would have and will rip him a new one in the debate tonight. So McCain's team told him to put his campaign on "hold" and tell people it's because of the so called economic crisis. The fact of the matter is that McCain and his joke of a vp aren't doing a damn thing in the White house, now, or in the future.

What Letterman didn't say is that all of the shows are pre-recorded and on top of that he moved his taping up. Any other day McCain would have already been on his plane!!! The taping with Katie did not interfear with his pane time!! Get it right!
