And, no surprise, she was a big, behived, drugged-out mess.
Amy Winehouse emerged from her North London crack den to attend one of the fanciest events on the London social calendar, the Prince’s Trust End of the Summer Ball.
Wino’s 12-year old goddaughter (the same one she dragged to a bar a few weeks ago), Dionne, was invited to perform at the ball and the shambolic singer popped in to provide background vocal support.
Needless to say, the results were disastrous.
The UK’s Daily Mail reports that onlookers were shocked at how out of it Amy was. A ball attendee recounted Wino’s tragic showing to the paper: “It was tragic ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ she seemed totally wasted. She was jumping all over Dionne as the poor girl tried to sing for the crowd. Amy didn├óΓé¼Γäót really sing a single note ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it sounded more like she was grunting down the mic.’
The tragedy continued after her cringe worthy stage antics.
After the performance, Wino apparently roamed from table to table at the charity ball, demanding to meet famous people.
But, when asked to pose for the event’s official photog, Crackie, “…flipped and tried to headbutt him. She looked like a woman possessed.”
As Amy finally made her way backstage she reportedly collapsed in tears and kept saying, “Life can’t go on, I can’t do this.”
Hello, Winehouse family?
Looks like drastic measures need to be taken, stat.
Can someone hook them up with Jamie Spears. He can probably give them a good lesson or two on how to help a troubled, celebrity daughter.
