A South Carolina mayor says he forwarded a chain e-mail naming Obama as the antichrist because he was "curious."
We remember forwarding chain e-mails for good luck…in high school!
Mayor Danny Funderburk forwarded the e-mail from his work e-mail address, seeking documentation of any scripture to validate the claim.
Oh really?
“I was just curious if there was any validity to it,” Funderburk attempts to explain. “I was trying to get documentation if there was any scripture to back it up.”
Idiot!
Funderburk said it “probably does give that impression” that he believed the e-mail was true “but that was not my intent.”
He does go on to say that "I am curious about current events and their connection to the Bible."
We guess he's not the only idiot on the internetz, because apparently the e-mail has been making the rounds.
The e-mail quotes the book of Revelations, which claims the antichrist will be in his 40s and of Muslim ancestry.
For the record, pal, no such scripture exists. And Barack is not Muslim!

Here's my two cents. I don't care if he's black or half black or a third black…or whatever ratio you want to use. Put a 100% black guy in there as long as he's qualified and has been in the political loop for a long time. The color of his skin doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that I don't feel he's qualified and being the president shouldn't be a career for on the job training. Maybe if he proved himself in the next few years I'd be more likely to vote for him. So health-care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans. And trade, we've got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive, scary thing. But one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today, we've got to look at that as more opportunity. All those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that.

Re: Palin12 – He attended a school in Indonesia when he was 5 years old because his mother lived there. At age 5, you do whatever your parents do for you. The school was a regular school there that happened to have children attended that were of Muslim faith, much like our public schools are full of mostly Christian students (but they're not labeled "Christian schools".) Mom was a free spirit, then dropped him off in Kansas when he was a kid to be raised by her parents, where he lived until he went to college. The picture of him in "Muslim clothing" is from a trip he took to Africa to his father's homeland and he happened to wear traditional African garb. Do your research.
