2. The state of Alaska is the second smallest state (population wise) in the United States. The Mayor of San Diego (where I'm from) governs over more people than her, and anyone from San Diego would cringe at the thought of our mayor being Vice President. Just because you're in the government doesn't mean you are a good leader. It just means that you know how to kiss ass.
3. Obama was in the Senate and graduated at the top of his class from Harvard. Palin worked as a sportscaster and a supermodel, oh, and she was the mayor of a 9,000 population town, also known as the Meth Capital of Alaska.

First of all. Let me start by saying that I am an independent but am more left leaning. I disagree with Elizabeth about a lot of issues but I give her A TON of credit. Do you think it is easy to defend your views everyday when you are out numbered? Moreover, they interupt her all the time, but reprimand her if she does the same. They talk down to her and don't let her express her views. They seem harpy. The purpose of the show is for a variety of women from different walks of life express their views- are they really doing that when Elizabeth is the only one with a very different view point than the group.

You know, I used to really dislike Elizabeth, mainly because of the issues regarding homosexuality she made, however, I now feel downright sorry for her. The ONLY reason people are attacking Palin is because she's a republican and Americans (especially the celebrity ones) are sick of republicans being in the white house. I can GUARANTEE that if Palin was the VP nominee for the Democratic ticket, the three of them would be all gaga over her. The View, much like most of the media now, has been Obamatized. It pisses me off that The View AND Charlie Gibson gave Obama EASIER questions and said more complimentary things, and gave McCain and Palin the tough questions, and Gibson was a total ass to Palin. Obama is not GOD for crying out loud. For the record, I am voting 3rd party out of principle because, quite frankly, Obama has hardly any WORKING political experience and McCain is too conservative for my taste, and I'm a fucking democrat! Elizabeth, you now have the respect of a very liberal gay man. How you can be ganged up on like you are anytime the presidental race is brought up much reminds me of bullies in high school, and it gives me much admiration for you. I think you and Whoopi are the most sane, logical members of that show. The View is just like Fox News, on the other side of the political spectrum
