Okay, here's the thing about The View: you have a bunch of rich women who, personally won't be affected financially by the election; however, their opinions are just as valid as anyone else's. My biggest problem with the panel is that it is totally unbalanced. You have four liberals and one conservative. Any legitimate news source gives equal weight to each side of the story. I am not joining the Hassellback team exactly, but she is outnumbered and unfairly. I actually give her kudos for standing her ground amongst a panel of opinionated women, not unlike herself. I get that the producers feed off of the controversy that her stance brings into an industry dominated by liberals (not that that is a bad thing and everyone has the right to hold an opinion). I just feel that the panel is biased. If they made it at least 3-2 it would be more sound. I may not agree with everything Elizabeth associates herself with, but come on. The girl earns her seat and is-I hate to say it-a maverick in her own right.

I'm not voting for McCain/Palin but I have to defend Sarah and say that it's really sad and disgusting to me that she is talked about and treated like this. She is a governor for Christ sake. Alaska is a great state and for her to be the governor of it is a huge thing and deserves respect. I'm from CA where our governor is an old action movie actor but still we voted him in with little experience. Bill Clinton (my fav prez of all) was a governor of Arkansas. I don't like Palin's views but I respect and applaud her for making it to governor of a state and having such a high approval rating in her state. She must be doing something right.
