I saw this and it is so sad. I only hope she's better prepared Tonight if she's not I can already hear Repubs saying she didn't get a fair handshake b/c of the moderator. Katie was as gentle and as mild as could be and Palin clearly just is NOT ready. McCain had so many other women in the Repub party to pick from he should have picked someone else. Her approval rating in Alaska has already dropped from 80% to 68%. The woman has no basic grasp of US history didn't we ALL have to take the constitution test in 8th grade and Highschool? Didn't we all have social studies since the third grade? She can't name ONE Supreme Court decision outside of Roe v wade? I mean come on?! I'm pretty sure MOST of us on here can… be honest!

Okay people. For those of you who think Katie Couric is a bitch, I want to explain something to you. If Sarah Palin ever gave a straight answer, like Joe Biden (who gave even more of a response than was required), Couric would have left her alone. However, this is the third portion of the interview, and the third time Palin bullshitted an answer. I'm sure, since Couric did the interview in one straight shot, that she was sick of putting up with it. Plus, it is Couric's job as the interviewer to get an honest and straight-forward answer. Granted, Biden did do some random self-promotion in this one but he is trying to separate himself from Palin in the fact that he is EXTREMELY pro-woman and is for prosecuting people who are violent against women. Sarah Palin signed off on a budget change in Alaska which made victims of sexual crimes have to pay for their own rape kits. For those of you who say that she wasn't for it, she signed off on it, so it is either support of it or her ineptness as a leader who doesn't read the things she signs off on. So anyway, I would love to hear a straight answer from her and I am excited for the debate tonight to see if she can get her facts straight on the fly. That seems to be Palin's biggest issue. She may know the facts but if she doesn't have time to prepare a good response, she sounds like an idiot and just starts bs-ing an answer.

It's interesting, lets go back to 2000. Bush ran on a state's rights platform. Yet, when push came to shove, he wanted to Federalize whatever he didn't agree with. Such as Terri Schiavo's right to die case. Or remember the folks who were in California, following California state law, laws that were enacted by the will of the people of California, who were prosecuted by the federal government for marijuana related charges. In other words, state laws are ok unless the Federal Government disagrees with them. Sarah is just more of the same.

There are, of course, a few historical inaccuracies there. First, Herbert Hoover was president when the stock market crashed, in 1929. Roosevelt did not take office until March of 1933.

Wade is ridiculous.
