Another thing that really bothers me is the fact that the media isn't pointing out that Sarah Palin can not even legally be Vice President. You have to be an American citizen. She's a governor of a state in Canada!!! She can't even BE VP!!
Biden was so eloquent and he sounded like he actually KNEW what he was talking about. Palin looked as thought she memorized a bunch of information and didn't necessarily understand it. First off, no one is experienced to be President until they are President to borrow Whoopi's words. The definition of experience is to gain knowledge through direct participation and observation. "Living" through something and having personally encountered a situation. Sarah Palin held her own and did answer the questions along with addressing comments that Biden threw out. Someone commented that she did not answer on gay marriage. What channel were you watching? She again stated her position and at that very end said she AGREED with Biden that she does not support gay marriage! CLEAR. She does not have as much experience as Biden in Washington but when did it become a crime to bring something new to the table? Sounds like "change" to me which is what everyone is hollering about. It seems that experience or the lack of it is at the core of this debate. Has it occurred to anyone that since Biden has spent many years in Washington that maybe he is adept at performing a professional snow job? Maybe his kind of "experience" is not what we need.

Someone commented that she did not answer on gay marriage. What channel were you watching? She again stated her position and at that very end said she AGREED with Biden that she does not support gay marriage! CLEAR. She does not have as much experience as Biden in Washington but when did it become a crime to bring something new to the table? Sounds like "change" to me which is what everyone is hollering about. It seems that experience or the lack of it is at the core of this debate. Has it occurred to anyone that since Biden has spent many years in Washington that maybe he is adept at performing a professional snow job? Maybe his kind of "experience" is not what we need.

Exactly what has Obama done? Please be specific. I can't think of any single accomplishment that would be career defining other than run a Presidential campaign. Legislation? Courageous political stance? This guy runs from controversy. Big decisions, he hides. I haven't tasted the Kool-aid and don't intend to because it seems to cause hallucinations. I think they put extacy in the water.

Palin was horrible last night. Maybe not as bad as I thought she'd be, but horrible nonetheless…..she tried to be too in tune with the "average" American and it was slightly nauseating. Some of her word choices make her sound like a backwoods hick, not a VP candidate.
