Inspired by life on her bio-dynamic farm in the English countryside and her grandmother’s fall to breast cancer, Elizabeth Hurley is working on a new line of organic, healthy, low-fat foods. She’s “obsessed that women find alternatives to eat which are low in fat.”
And for good reason!
Elizabeth has been an active supporter of breast cancer awareness since her grandmother’s death. Research has proved that a healthy diet low in fat can help prevent breast cancer by affecting the way that the body stores estrogen.
As a spokeswoman for Estée Lauder, Hurley and the cosmetics line have worked together on several breast cancer awareness projects and this year released the Elizabeth Hurley High Gloss Lip Color Collection, with proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
She was also in New York recently to help turn Bloomingdale’s pink for October, which is breast cancer awareness month.
