O.J. Guilty On All Counts!

We haven't been following his Las Vegas trial, but we're definitely following his GUILTY verdict.
O.J. Simpson was cleared of murder 13 years ago, but now he faces life in prison for armed robbery and kidnapping.
The former NFL was found guilty on all 12 counts, including conspiracy to commit a crime, robbery, assault and kidnapping with a deadly weapon.
According to reports:
The jury of nine men and three women, none of them African-American, began deliberations Friday after hearing from 22 witnesses over 12 days of testimony. Chief among the witnesses were seven of the nine people inside Room 1203 of the Palace Station Hotel and Casino for the September 13, 2007 confrontation.
The evidence included testimony from the two dealers, four co-defendants who cut plea deals and cooperated with prosecutors and hours of often-profane, crackling, secretly recorded audiotapes.
Prosecutors alleged that the men, led by Simpson, burst into the room, flashed a gun and threatened memorabilia dealers Bruce Fromong and Al Beardsley.
The men then filled two pillowcases with Simpson trinkets, signed Pete Rose baseballs and Joe Montana lithographs. Simpson's defense attorneys maintained their client was merely trying to retrieve personal photographs and other mementos that belonged to him.
Neither Simpson nor his co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart testified during the trial

I smell a mistrial. There is no fair and impartial jury alive that does not know about OJ. He cannot get a fair trial. Plus, he wasn't even the one with the gun. The only reason he was found guilty is because the jury knew of his past!

O.J. brutally murdered two innocent people in Los Angeles in 1994 and FINALLY 13 years to the day later is being sent to prison for a seemingly minor offense. Nevada did it right!

1st - There is no such place as the "city of Nevada". He was convicted by an anonymous jury in LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY NEVADA, who sat through 3 weeks of testimony, as I did.
2nd - That jury took an oath to remain fair and impartial and only deliberate on the facts as they were presented to them, and the totality of the evidence. They only had to believe beyond a "reasonable doubt" that these 2 were guilty to convict. Try to ponder reasonable doubt, I doubt you'll be able to figure it out… So, here's a hint, GOOGLE it!
3rd - Any ordinary person that commited the same crime in the same fashion with the mountains of evidence that the state had would be facing the same sentence that these 2 are facing. Nevada has no "special" provisions for washed up football stars that were previously acquitted of crimes. His buddy, CJ Stewart if facing the same sentence…
4th - Let this be a lesson to all, the age old "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." The jury wasn't biased, they did their jobs and it's the most difficult job on earth to "judge" someone else fairly and impartially. You'll never make a juror…. Now go back to sleep.

I wish they could find some sort of evidence that could cause the case to be reopened now that they got him where they want him.
I am skeptical about the jury and their true reason behind the verdict, and before everyone goes all "they had an all white jury," I guess there was at least one black woman on the jury that was let go because she was a school teacher and her being gone for that long would have been bad for her students, so they accepted that and released her from the jury.
This is not justice for Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson. They were denied justice 13 years ago. If anything this may make their families angrier that he was acquitted of their murders, but may be spending life in prison for an armed robbery. Yeah, Karma wins this round, but I doubt this will give the Goldmans and the Browns any other peace, except for knowing that he's gonna have a boyfriend named Bubba in the next few days. They'll probably drop him in solitary for awhile, if not permanently, you know, for his safety.
Justice was not served for Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman, and to anyone that feels that way, it's exactly why I guarantee you there will be an attempt for appeal.

I have to agree with you here. It's impossible for OJ to get an unbiased jury anywhere and we're using the testimony of hardly credible witnesses (they were all scumbags). Everyone involved had something to gain and something to lose. Not defending OJ's past here but in this instance I'm afraid the legal system was unable to put on a fair trial. I also believe his co-defendant should have had a separate trial. Stewart is paying for Simpson's past.
It was only a matter of time till he got what was coming to him.

If I ever serve as a juror where someone of my race, gender or sexual preference (or all three) is being tried for a crime, I will NOT base my facts on their heredity, but on the facts at hand, and I'm sure this jury did the same thing.

You don't know that they WILL sentence him to life in prison, in fact I don't think they will. I say 20 years tops and he gets out early on good behavior. Because frankly, they aren't sentencing child molesters or rapists to life sentences, why would you think they'd do that for an armed robbery? The option's there for life but that doesn't mean he will get it.

The man was found innocent years ago, and that verdict should not have influenced today's. Although it was funny on SNL last week, it was very true that to find someone who didn't know who he was is pretty much difficult, and I think people's view of him allowed their judgements to be biased. I never believed it was a racial thing back then; that was stupid to think so, but it is odd that there were only whites at the trial. Were white people honestly the only ones available who had complete indifference to the guy? Why wasn't it mixed … did the judge feel that if even one black … whether African-American or Jamaican-American … whatever … would be in favor of him because he was their color? That seems racist in itself if that's the case … oh, right, all black people thought he was innocent before because he was black, and so now they'll still think that, and then they'll get in my way. Not one black person can be indifferent? In any case, I don't think he had a fair trial, and no matter what anyone thinks of him, guilty or innocent of crimes past, that's what it really is about: if a person had a truly fair trial or not, and I don't think he did.

What difference does it make that there were no blacks on the jury? OJ has always separated himself ¨from his people¨, except during his murder trial when it was convienient for him.
