Perezcious reader Kevin of Anaheim (Gwen Stefani's hometown) sent us this email message, explaining while many in the O.C. are very pissed at Miley:
perez, as u probably know the fireworks at disneyland go off at 9:30 on most nights. apparently when u get tons of money for a private paty u get fireworks at 11:30 pm. on a sunday! we thought an explosion went off over there! (we live real close) when the fireworks go off normally they always start small and then esclate. last night it was just BOOM BOOM! and it was very late. most people im sure were in bed getting ready for a tedious work week to try to pay off a home that they may lose, but not miley. she got a fourth of july worthy fireworks show and so did thousands of anaheim residents who had no idea it was coming. love your site..peace!…kevin in anaheim

OMG i was in my house in kentucky, trying to sleep so i could get up and go to work tomorrow and bust my ass to try and make the payment on my house i might lose, and then at like 11:30 BOOM! i heard all these noises and i was like 'what the fuck?' and i looked out, and i saw all the sparks and fire in the air and i really thought aliens were coming. aliens or al queda. i hid under my bed like ALL night … gosh … i just got the nerve to crawl out. i'm pretty sure i lost my job, and i'm gonna lose my house, and i just noticed my nail polish is chipped, and my cats are really mad that i don't have food for them. BUT, now that i know it was all miley's fault, i feel better, because i will sue her, and disneyland, and everyone else, and i can fix my chipped nail polish then. oh, and maybe keep my house, if i don't blow all the cash on nail polish and cat food.

Re: darrendman – I live within the spoken of vicinity and I have NEVER heard the fireworks from Fatasmic, however I anticipate everynight that Disney's fireworks will go on at 9:30 and that it will sound like bombs are going off over my head… which is fine, it's a part of life over here and after awhile what sounds like a million Oompa Loompas jumping on my roof becomes normal. However it's not so fucking great when I've been up since 6am Sunday morning and have to be up at 6am the next day for work so some slutty selfish gay-hating spoiled brat can have a birthday party on a day that isn't even her actual birthday.

i live about 3 miles from Disneyland and all the chaos that is Harbor Blvd and Katella Ave and honestly sometimes all the damm traffic and noise from the fireworks gets annoying…half of the time you cant really hear it but on those nights when all you want to do is sleep and you hear that shit its freaking annoying.
