Lets say you meet someone and you hang out years later they commit a crime, does that mean it was due to your influence? Does that mean you are linked to that crime? In fact, since the book of Revelation was complete by the end of the second century, but the religion of Islam wasn't founded until about four hundred years later, the notion that Revelation would have mentioned a "Muslim" at all is rather far-fetched. (And even if it did, it couldn't be construed as a reference to Barack Obama, since Senator Obama isn't a Muslim.
I am not big on politics at all but I have really tried to listen and educate myself on issues. Unfortunately we are subjected to people that feel so strongly about political parties that they are willing to spew anything out of their hole to sound correct. I think your (USA) political system of having only two opposite parties, creates radical views. And gives you this romantic black-white vision of politics. Because in order to get your voice across, you are forced to adapt to one that is closest to what your personal stand is ( for instance radical right and right is so far apart).
I think you would benefit from moving to a parlamentar-democracy, rather than presidential. But in order to accomplish that you have to change the way you think about life.
