I'm so tired of this show! I stopped watching it because I can't take the crap anymore. I don't understand why Elisabeth continues to be on that show. All they do is scream and yell at her. They never give her the opportunity to actually finish a thought. She always gives them the chance to finish what they are complaining about but as soon as she starts talking all the hags start screaming. With all due respect, there have been a significant number of black people voice their thoughts on a "black" man finally making it to the ticket. They point out his race as a milestone and characterize him by his race and then if you go to black blogs likes bossip - you'll see stories how black groups are literally threatening riots if Barack doesn't win. So it is kind of hard to be white and not think a lot of black people are only voting for him because he is black. It is true, especially among the masses - they don't know the issues, his causes or his voting record. It is just as sad that woman are going to vote for McCain/Palin just because Palin is a woman, but not so brutally obvious.

His first wife has spoken out about her divorce from McCain in several interviews and each time she has said that they have a good relationship til this day. She has gave her full support to him in this campaign and her sons (that he adopted as toddlers) were at the convention supporting him, they call him Dad, if he were such a jackass do you think they'd support him like they do? His ex-wife has made it known that when they split he agreed to pay her medical expenses FOR LIFE and pay her alimony for the rest of her life, which was beyond what he was asked to do by law. He willingly agreed to pay all her medical expenses, he was not made to do so…as she has stated. The former Mrs.McCain is well taken care of by her ex husband and has said so in many interviews.

Last night on the news it showed black people lined up for four blocks registering to vote. They interview several of them…one guy they talked to didn't even know who "the black guy" on the tickets was..he didn't know his name was Barack Obama, but he was there in line registering to vote, just because it was a black dude running. If Obama get elected it will cause and even further racial divide, if he doesn't win then the black will say the whites rigged the election. Either way, it's not going to be pretty.

Barack has admitted to being a muslim at one time, he isn't now…he changed his mind once he decided to run and it wouldn't be cool to be a muslim. He sat on committees with him, but can't recall those committees now. While I don't agree with the activities that Ayers was involved with during the late 60's we must keep in mind that Obama was a young boy at that time. It's not like Obama was paling around with Ayers and planting bombs.
If you are going to analyze the candidates character I believe McCain's first marriage is fair game. He met Cindy when he was forty something and she was twenty something…while he was still married. I respect McCain, he has fought for this country .. yet his personal life is fair game. I'm a white young adult…and I think it is really sad that some do not realize the importance of this election. For the past 200 hundred or so years this country has elected and relected a white man. Having a black President is a historic event.
People complain about Whoopi expressing her feelings about this election and what it means for the black community. I truly never realized how much the black community has been ignored until that past year or so ( I'm completing my degree in government and read a really interesting book about race and campaigns).
That being said, I don't think people should vote or not vote for Obama based on his race. … I just think we need to be more aware of others.

McCain walks away w/ a slap on the wrist even though he was the biggest benefactor of all the senators investigated, why? b/c of Supreme Court Justice William Renquist, one of the most presumed racist Repubs out there till he died of cancer.
BTW, who started the whole racist sentiment? Who put out bills with Obama's face emblazoned on them emphasizing he's "not one of us"? Who started the racist attacks and caused Obama to use the line "i may not look like those other faces on the dollar bill" hmmm Fannie Mae and freddie Mac, how a/b Rick Davis, McCain's campaign manger who is STILL makes $$$ off them? I can remember looking in our family scrapbook that has old political attack ads from the campaign of Abraham Lincoln. He was referred to as "Gorilla face". I have great expectations for Obama, but McCain seems to have a different agenda that doesn't bide well for my future, I'm afraid. Keep an eye on Palin's daughter's bogus baby bump. That looks more like post-partum bump, but could be wrong. That whole trip from Texas and giving birth so effortlessly to a special-needs baby and remaining slender the whole time doesn't convince me that's she's a "multitasker". I don't want a trailer parked in the Rose garden.

The color of your skin doesn't represent your intelligence, your stand on the issues or what your plan is while you are president. If you're voting for Obama because he's black then you support the race war.
I'm sure I'll get a lot crap for this but I think it's time we move on about this race issue. If you continue dwelling on race, you will never be able to move on! It's time to focus on real issues and the problems we are facing toward not the problems that were over 40 years ago.

I know for a fact that Obama has a coach because I know one of his advisors who said that professional speakers write his speeches and give him direct quotes to use. I don't deny that McCain has them too. That is where experience comes into play. I don't think this country can handle someone who is not experienced to come in and be President right now. Maybe after he gets some more senator experience.
