It Got Super Heated on The View Today!!!!!

Filed under: TV News > Politik > Barack Obama > Elizabitch Hasselbeck > John McCain

Saturday Night Live is not the only show benefitting from the current U.S. Presidential election.

The View is also experiencing a resurgence in vitality, thanks to their lone conservative voice Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

She sure knows how to get the other ladies riled up!

Things started out nice and civil during Hot Topics on Tuesday but they turned real ugly before they went to commercial break.

It "got personal," cried Elizabitch.

CLICK HERE to watch their latest McCain/Obama blow-up. It gets really good around the 5:00 minute mark!

FIRST OF ALL - McCain has had a past just like Obama. I agree to an extent with Barbara as to say that it doesn't matter, however, after reading about McCain being a POW for two years, who knows what that can do to you mentally.

The only reason I bring it up is because I read an article talking about McCain's hotheadedness presently, and that's not someone we can have as president. I think Elizabitch fails to see ANY good in Obama and that's just wrong. Even though I'm a Democrat, I still see where they have faults.

Re: barklesdicky – well i can totally respect that and like i said before i was on the fence you know and i still need to watch the debates but i think mccain would be good for helping us win this war, and i do like palins ideals about energy. but when it comes to the tax cuts and obamas stand on prochoice thats where i agree with him i like all of the canadiates but obama i think would be a good change…honestly i would like to see someone different with ideals and passion that could be bought into the white house…so thats why i am for obama as of right now but who knows i can still change

    Re: JERSEYG1RL
I don't think so, they were both for Hillary Clinton, and I've seen pictures of her. She ain't black!…….just a white female canadian prospective

  4. 204

FUCK ELIZABETH HASSELBACK. She needs to get a clue, she is a typical white woman, ignorant and close minded. Im not even black and she makes me want to punch her in the face with all her under handed racial comments. WHEN Obama wins she should bow down and kiss his feet……and ASS. Now I know why everyone pretty much hates her.

Re: MINXLIVES – Well, it was a big concern to me to hear Rev. Wright spewing hate from his pulpit every week like he did and Obama did nothing about it either-oh except make him his paid spiritual advisor. Just like a democrat-hypocritical.

  9. 209

Re: JKJK – THANKS! I appreciate the support haha

Re: Smirks – i like this comment and i totally agree…. i work with alot of obama fans and when ever they questions me about why i want to vote for palin and mccain i dont even get one sentence out before they attack me i think that the same goes for this show i dont attack obama lovers the way they attack me its all about respect i think that those 3 ( not barbra because she is civil) dem are rude and they make things personal liz cant finish any comment without being attack and as a rep of course she is going to defend mccain and pick at obama and since she is the only one on the show doing it she has to be tougher because she is only one voice to their 3 loud voices…… i just think all the comments made her were attacking liz as a person and u can hate her all u want but u have to admitt that the 3 dems are pulling a double standard when it comes how each one expresses there own views and maybe they need to stop talking about the election and just go back to whatever is happend in celebs lives

  11. 211

Elizabeth always wants to talk smack about Obama, but when someone else wants to do the same with McCain she calls it 'getting personal'….wtf…..

  12. 212

    Re: lawfulsexslave
Thanks. Personally I try to look into what each side offers and Obama (for me) offers nothing. I've read his book, I've read McCain's. I'm proud to support McCain because I feel like I know enough about the man I'm supporting to feel confident he can protect us from terrorists, he can work across party lines, he can work with other countries in regard to the war and he won't toss up the white flag, he can use Palin and her knowledge on energy to spearhead issues in that regard. He can work to keep taxes from going even higher on small business. Obama will kill small business and efffectively keep jobs going overseas, not to mention employers won't be able to give employees 401k or better insurance under Obama with the way he plans to tax small business. Plus John McCain wants to eliminate the Estate and Death taxes, Obama is for them. I know why I support McCain. I have yet to talk to an Obama supporter who actually knew WHY they aresupporting Obama.

  14. 214

Re: JERSEYG1RL – Oh, I completely agree with you. Call me crazy or off the wall, but I assure you I am no conspiracy type of person. I have a real hunch, based on all of Barack's background (taking campaingn monies from the Palistines he was forced to return, agmost other well know facts) he is in complete co-hoots with the muslims and may very well have a direct agenga to work directly against America. I would not rule it out. The extremists have been plotting and planning against American for a very long time. 9/11 is just the tip of the iceberg. Obama has very definite, factual and provable ties to the middle east and terrorists. But everyone turns a blind eye. Why? BECAUSE AMERICA IS LAND OF THE FREE, FREEDOM OF CHOICE AND RELIGION!! Goddamn if anyone should trech upon that! Well, maybe we should, to keep scum like Obama out.

  15. 215

Re: gabbyNashville – Believe it or not ….I am a white conservative and I am not a racist! I am tired of hearing that! I am not voting for Obama because I have done my research and I have decided that he does not represent what I believe in. If people would turn the TV off and go searching the internet for information about Obama, they too may be alarmed at his voting record, his associations, and the amount of tax payer money that he has spent and how little he had accomplished with it. Obama is not a uniter…he is a divider.

  16. 216

Re: Elsa – MCCAIN pulled the race card. Lets not gloss over the fact that the McCain campaign decided to NOT talk about the economy in in favor of mud slinging…all because they know they can't win on that topic. What they don't get is that people don't want to see mud slinging. They want to know everything is going to be okay.

McCain and Palin are fear mongers and are coming across as bigots. Barack Obama does NOT have to defend the name his parents gave him at birth. He is NOT a terrorist loving muslim.

McCain and Palin should be held accountable for perpetuating this nonsense. When someone at a McCain rally yelled out "kill him," refering to , McCain should have stopped it that second…but he didn't. That scares me and so do McCain and Palin.

    OBAMA 08

  17. 217

Re: kjen – re 223, you said EXACTLY why I am supporting McCain as well. These Obama supporters are all for taxing those people who make over 200K, but they don't seem to understand that it is those SAME people who employee them. They are the small business owners. Mark my words, under Obama, Mom and Pop businesses will completely CEASE TO EXIST.

  18. 218

Re: Genghis Khan – That was excellent. Thanks for your input

  19. 219

Re: JERSEYG1RL Ok… First and foremost, I am not Mexican. I don't know where you got the impression that I WAS Mexican just because I said I was Hispanic… but I'M the ignorant one, right? Secondly, when I referred to your Norway background, I was only quoting where you were from, and stating that if you are unaware that a Black man running for President is extremely important for colored people in this country, then maybe you should not be a part of America. The reason I say this is because people of color have ALWAYS been discriminated against, and I am assuming that you are of White Descent and do not know about this discrimination. True… there are many people voting for Obama because he is (HALF) black, but you have to understand that for many, many years, and still to this day, Black people are not treated fairly. I don't care how naive I sound, or what part of America you live in… you MUST see that there is still so much racism around. Check out your very own comment about me being Mexican… that should be proof enough. There was no need to go to that extreme… Thanks.

  20. 220

dude, this show needs to get cancelled.

  21. 221

i hate whoopi more than anyone on the show. she never lets anyone finish their sentence. the stupid bitch always has to pull out the race card. STOP BRINGING IT UP.

  22. 222

    Re: PattyPat
I don't disagree with you that is discrimination in this country. But most of the discrimination I see comes from dumb white unemployed rednecks who think calling someone names matters. What "real" discrimination takes place? Can blacks not apply for the same jobs? The same schools? Are they not given the same opportunities as everyone else?

  23. 223

Re: PattyPat – There is NO RACE, and I repeat, NO RACE, more prejudice than blacks.

Yeah I like how you ASSUME i'm a dem rather than ASK. No I'm not a dem but an independent and Like i said if the pot is going to call the kettle black then drag out ROD PARSLEY McCain;s EQUALLY RACIST Spiritual advisor whom McCain INCIDENTALLY has NOT dropped affiliations with. It's called being fair and balanced. Try it sometime. Again, if we had to hold politicians to moral and ethical barometers we'd have to get rid of 99.9% of government. I'd rather focus on the ISSUES thank you very much.

  25. 225

Re: JERSEYG1RL Secondly, while I personally respect BOTH men for many accomplishments, I have, TOO, done my research and felt Obama was a better President for our country. I do not understand why McCain and his supporters continue to bash Obama's past affiliations, most of which have no relevance, while McCain also has many past faults. I also see a trend of demeaning Obama's previous work in communities that do not receive much attention. You told me that he did not accomplish anything as a community organizer… untrue. Actually he set up a job training program, a college preparatory tutoring program, and a tenants' rights organization that helped many who needed that type of help in these types of communities. Why is his work looked down upon?
Why is Obama constantly referred to as a radical Muslim? He is not Muslim - his father was, and later converted. (Once again, I did my research, and I am not ignorant). And even if he was Muslim, why must one always assume the extreme worst? Does eveyone see a White person from the South and assume he is a KKK Member? Does everyone see a Hispanic person and assume he is illegal? Maybe we should stop the racist assumptions, and then maybe the division of race in this country would improve. P.S. I never said I did not respect McCain. They are both intelligent men.. but I have made my choice and am extremely entitled to it.

I hope the rumors are true that Elisabeth is leaving…she's awful. I don't mind conservatives, as I have some conservative views myself. I just mind people who can't think for themselves, and have to rattle off talking points…PLEASE leave Elisabeth!

  30. 230

Re: JERSEYG1RL – I am pretty sure you have some issues going on! To sit there and slam people of their ethnicity and background beliefs… We need change and that's all there is to it! Elizabeth is an annoying idiot who definitely wouldn't mind if McCain shit on her face - like someone above this said! She is the one OBSESSED - if you don't notice she is the one ALWAYS talking about McCain and how great he is - he is nothing special, he is 72 he has a military background and that is all the respect I give him.

OBAMA :) !! ALL THE WAY if he doesn't win, I am moving out of the USA.

    Re: sweetpiece
The repubs distort the truth huh? What about the dems pointing fingers at the repubs and blaming them for the financial collapse? Barney Frank (Dem) is the Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, it's his job to oversee corporations like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. However in July Franks said the companies were sound. When Bush pushed for stricter oversight in 2003 Frank responded, "These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis, the more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing." Guess you were wrong Frank, but he won't admit,he instead points his finger at the Repubs. Maybe Frank's romantic relationship with an executive at Fannie Mae had something to do with it. What about Chris Dodd(Dem)? A chairman of the Senate Banking Committee? A man that used the mortgage crisis to re-finance his homes at very generous rates to pocket the extra money. Funny how these men still won't admit their mistakes, sounds like they're distorting the truth. I'm glad Elizabeth pointed the finger where it belongs, at the Dems.

  34. 234

    Re: lawfulsexslave – I agree.

I have to voice my opinion on this subject for the fact that Black people always bring up race in everything. Race card is their best friend and they use it when ever they want to! Im not racist but ive been around enough black people to say that you guys complain about everything! Why does it always have to be the white peoples fault for your problems. Not the white persons fault that you live in a ghetto. ITS YOUR FOR NOT GETTING A GOOD EDUCATION AND GETTING A GOOD JOB AND MOVING! We have to work just as hard as you guys but yet were the ones you blame! The only one who is at fault for your life sucking is yourself.

Plus if your going to get mad at white people for being so called "racist" You better be flared when your BLACK RAPPERS say the N word in every sentence in their songs!

ALSO Im not an obama FAN he is too much of a celebrity to be running our country.

and as to McCain cheating… every one does it and it was like 30 years ago before he was even running for president!

  39. 239

PattyPat - you disappeared there for about an hour.. that must have been the time that you were doing your "research." At the end of the day, I've seen a continuous cycle from African Americans, whether they are celebrities or just regular people, some of which are my friends. My next door neighbor, in fact, is an extremely wealthy black man… I have all the respect in the world for him. You told me to go back to Norway, so I said go back to Mexico. Calling you a Mexican isn't racist. Just like calling me a Norwegian isn't racist. By the way, proper english is my "norwegian background" .. not "norway background" lol. But whatever, none of your liberals have even answered LAWFULSEXSLAVE's question. Can you name 5 things Obama stands for? What i'm saying won't get through your thick head, so I'm not going to waste another minute addressing you. But if you can name one substantive legislative accomplishment by Obama, then feel free to speak.

  40. 240

Re: BeciAnn403 – Thank you. I do find Elizabeth loud and obnoxious at times but i agree with you. She is driven to it because that's all they do on that show… yell and interrupt one another. Who watches it? I can't even imagine. What a waste of time.

  41. 241

Obama connected to yet another terrorist sympathizer
With Oregon's primary coming up, the nation's eyes turn to this far left state. How will Obama fare? He's expected to win easily. Except for the recent revelations that are beginning to erode his soaring-above-the-clouds campaign thus far.

Besides the Obama-Rezko-Auchi-Saddam Hussein connection, an Oregon talk show host told her audience Friday night about an Obama-Ayers- Khalidi connection that is just as troubling:

There is a far-reaching scandal brewing for presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, thanks to a radio talk show host based in Oregon. Syndicated talk host Laurie Roth’s revelations make the news story about Obama’s relationship with a racist, anti-American pastor look like child’s play.

A top official at the Pentagon during former-President George H. W. Bush’s Administration and a former CIA intelligence officer maintain that Barack Obama and former Weather Underground honcho William Ayers funneled money to Professor Rashid Khalidi, a known terrorist sympathizer.

And by substantive legislative accomplishment, I don't mean writing 2 books. Martha Stewart can even do that. Oh wait, she actually wrote more books than Obama

  43. 243

Re: lawfulsexslave – Why is me saying I'm Hispanic an automatic reference to calling me Mexican? I cannot imagine that you would understand how this could be racist if you are not of Hispanic descent… but for your information, there are MANY Hispanic countries, and to single the word "Hispanic" out to Mexican is racist. I have never said being Mexican is worse than me, or whatever the case. But the fact is.. I'm not Mexican. I'm actually from Venezuela. That's like me calling you Canadian. Are you Canadian?

  44. 244

i'm soooooo sick of hasselbeck, she's such an idiot and is exactly who the democratic party are targeting with the equally stupid palin.

GET PERSONAL, that's what opinions are you nunce!

  45. 245

Re: MINXLIVES – McCain denounced Parsley's comments about muslims and Obama says he doesn't remember ever hearing racist comments. As usual, Obama doesn't remember anything. Sorry, I shouldn't have called you a Democrat, you're more or a liberal. Just as bad though. Have a nice night.

  46. 246

i think it's funny how she keeps saying relax… when she's the one that doesn't know how to. typical… "do as i say.. not as i do"

  47. 247

Re: PattyPat – Who exactly are you calling ignorant?

  48. 248

Re: CreativeOne – Actually, most discrimination comes from middle class and people who are the "norm". With all due respect, no, I personally do not think that blacks are given the same opportunities as whites are. While this is probably a problem too large to fix, it mostly starts with education and community. If you look at the research, most prodominately Black communities are impovershed, with schools that are not even functional for animals, let alone students. The communities are worn down and the help is extremely limited. While there are opportunities to create a better life, it is all a vicious cycle. The discrimination that has been present in this country for too many years is far too present in most of these minorities lives. It hard for a black child to been born into this community, not receive an equal education, and proceed to live their lives in the way their communities have taught them. Think about it… I'm sure it's hard to because most of us have not lived those types of lifestyles.

  49. 249

OBAMA NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS ASSOCIATES… THIS "HE WAS 8 YEARS OLD" SHIT DOESN'T FLY!!! THEY WERE ON ANNENBERG TOGETHER, BARACK STARTED HIS IL STATE SENATE CAREER IN BILL AYERS DINING ROOM. OBAMA WROTE THE FOREWARD TO AYERS' BOOK….
WHO WRITES THE FOREWARD TO A BOOK OF A GUY THEY "DON'T KNOW"

  50. 250

Re: Linda9801 – Yeah, Linda. It's not about what they've done. Everyone, especially politicians, has skeletons. It's how they handle it that matters. I admire a person who can say, "Mea culpa. I made a bad choice/decision, whatever." Just seems to me like Obama can NEVER do that. He just lies and makes excuses: Ayers is "just someone from my neighborhood" and "I didn't know what his history was". Bullshit. If you get caught, at least level with the public, right?

I called you Norweigan because you said you were from Norway. I never said I was from Mexico. Don't you understand a difference? And please… forgive me for making a grammatical error while writing a post on PerezHilton. I'm sure that totally showed my educational background.
The point is, we all have different opinions, and I'm just trying to voice mine, as you are yours. We probably won't ever agree on these issues, so it would be best to agree to disagree. Sorry that you have to make smart remarks to try and get me upset. It won't work. I respect your opinion, as well as everyone else that writes here, no matter how different from my own.
I hope everyone gets out there and votes :)

  58. 258

    Re: PattyPat
I get that argument, I really do. I agree that black neighborhood schools tend to be disadvantaged. However, in my state, my county, we pay the highest taxes for schools and our money is pooled and redistributed to all counties evenly. My mother who was a teacher does agree that the higher caliber teachers do not wish to work in the poorer neighborhoods, but because of the violence and crime. Now, I know it is a cycle. But, I disagree that it is discrimination. Crime in black neighborhoods is higher, high school drop-out rates are higher and teen pregnancy rates are higher — those are individual choices not discrimination. Perhaps a victim of their environment, but not because white people held them back.

  59. 259

Re: MINXLIVES – Oh, since you want to focus on the issues, why then would you bother to waste your energy typing about McCain's affair? That is not an issue you are worried about for the future of the country is it? If you think you know so much about these people, you're wrong. Just because you read things about them on CNN or hear their speeches, which are written for them, doesn't mean that it's the truth or whole story. If you think Obama wasn't getting a dime out of sub prime mortgages, you are an idiot. All of these people in Washington and local politics have their hands in the cookie jar taking cutbacks from anyone who will give it. None of us will no how corrupt either one of these men are-which is why I'm going purely on experience for my President.

  60. 260

Re: barklesdicky – I do not know which post you are referring to… but certainly not you. I refer people who do not read, or expose themselves to different cultures and races ignorant. People who are close-minded and are not willing to listen to others.
I'm sure that doesn't apply to you… Sorry if it sounded that way.

  61. 261

Re: CreativeOne – Excellent points… Good for your mother! I am also a teacher. :)
I agree with everything you have said… but I guess my point is, Why? Why do you think they would make these choices, and other communities do not? Don't you think there might be some connections and relevance to the two here? Just a thought…
But thanks for your conversation. I enjoy it!

  62. 262

I said and I'll quote "I will be going to Norway… for good" if obama is elected. but it's ok.. i didn't want to be an english teacher today and fix every grammatical problem. Point it. If we had to hold our politicians to a moral and ethical standar we would have to get RID of 99.9% of government. I don't care who's daughter is pregnant, who's daughter drinks, whose gotten a blow job, none of that shit effects me, The ISSUES being skirted under the rug does. BOTH sides have dirt so for once can we focus on the issues? Do we really want to waste more time on people's private lives. You don't know my political stances so I'll give you a pass but please DO NOT ASSUME, please, again, ASK. And trust me I've posted this enough times that if I was Bullshitting you, Smirks would call me out on it ;)

Re: Sunshines1301 – Of course she is pushing Barack's celebrity. She is known for giving many speeches to large crowds, and going on many talk shows and appearing in women's magazines, speaking about this country that she is so ashamed of. Just because someone says that they don't like the spotlight, doesn't mean a thing.

Yes McCain has DENOUNCED Hagee's statements and Parsley's statements HOWEVER mccAIN HAS never CUT TIES WITH THEM WHY? b/C parsley brought in the Conservatives for BUSH AND McCain denounced parlsey w/o cutting ties because he needed and STILL needs Parlsey to bring that same voting block in. So again, Obama has DENOUNCED and CUT TIES w/ Wright. HAs McCain done the same???? NO!!!! ;) Details people! Details!!! Hagee is the only one to W/d any campaign support due to the digging being done on his church and any comments he may have made in the past. Parsley point blank holds all the cards McCain needs.

Re: PattyPat – I don't really know because I am a middle class white woman and grew up in an affluent neighborhood. I was also a CASA volunteer and worked a great deal with kids in poor neighborhoods and at risk for these exact type of choices. I believe there are enough resources and services that kids who really want help can turn to for guidance and support, but I really don't know many kids who would go against their peer group or go out of their way to get help for decisions that generally require them to do the right thing, which isn't always easy. I just wish the segment of the black community that screams all whites are racist would look at themselves and help solve the problems of the black community at large. And, I enjoyed the conversation as well.

Put whatever label you want on me to make you feel happy. As I have also said before. LABELS ARE STUPID! Labels do NOT sum up a person's ENTIRE belief system or Political stances. I know "dems" who are against abortion and I know "repubs" that support abortion and gay marriage. This two party system is what is dragging down this country. I have stated this many times. Washington neverwanted party politics in this country because Factions divide the people. So stick to that party mentality. i have never told anyone WHO tovote for AND there are more than two peope running in this race for Pres. So run along and label me, cry like a baby b/c I not only disagree w/ you but can logically put forth an argument as to why. THIS IS AMERICA!!!! Goodniiiight ;)

  80. 280

hassleback is the epithomy of what's wrong with america. she constantly trys to change the position of the subject when shes attacked and anywho whos been in professional debates know that is a signed of wrong information or inaccurate facts.she needs to be teabaged by mccain.

I try to watch the View as much as I can..l LOVE Joy …ElizaBitch is a right wing modern era Bigot (w. good fashion sense)…I had 2day and yesterday from work and luckily was able to watch the bitchfests from both yesterday..I loved how Sherri Sheppard SHUT ElizaBitch OFF when she raised some valid points re MCcain and how his PAL was convicted but Obama's college buddy was not…The Republicans are desperate and Grasping For Straws..pathetic LOSERS they are as is their sad puppet aka ElizaBitch..she is lucky to be on The View…w/o that show she would be a Reality "Star" way past her 15 minutes…John McCain is pure Evil like murderer George Dubya Bush

  82. 282

this show is so pointless. no matter what the topic is, all i hear is "blah blah blah blah blah". turn these bitches off already.

  83. 283

Re: MINXLIVES – Fret not, little one. Nothing you say will make me cry. Just feel sorry for you that you believe the lies in the media. I tried to send the link of McCain cutting ties and denouncing Parsley but it won't appear for some reason. Google, since you want everyone else to, McCain denounces Rod Parsley and it is the second site listed. As a resident of Chicago who works in the ghetto, literally, and has the chance to speak with Obama fans, I can tell you that they say some VERY racist comments about McCain. As far as the race card, it is played on both sides. That's politics my dear, very dirty. So, you have a great night and I hope you don't cry yourself to sleep from my REPUBLICAN views. Dont be scared. :) Try it-you'll like it.

Smirks, I think you may need to EDUCATE this one on me. First and Foremost my info does NOT come from the Media. I TEACH political Science and am currently am pursuing my Ph.D So, if you truely care to know what shapes my political opinion Start w/ a CONSERVATIVE known as Steven Hook Read his book US FOREIGN POLICY, then you can do what my 101 class does and Read Huntington's Clash of Civilizations and of course EVERY politicians REAL BIBLE Machiavelli's the Prince. OH! And since Palin brought it up read Tocqueville's coined American Exceptionalism. AGAIN, U assume too much and I love how you jumped over my post to you 273. I see it a waste b/c I have asked nicely 3X to ASK and NOT assume since you cannot do that.Since u think you know me so well I will leave it you to carry on the rest of this conversation AND assume my opinions. Smirks, squirrel hell even (melissa is always right and I ) may disagree and agree on some things but we have NEVER taken liberties to assume a/b each others stances. Just b/c I reject your labels DOES NOT mean I may disagree w/ everything you support. think on that.

  86. 286

elizabeth is so narrow minded. barbara is being fair pointing out the faults of both the candidates. and hasselback goes and defends mccain and bashes obama. so typical of her. she needs to get a life and stop being such a bitch.

  87. 287

Hope you had a great time! I'm sure you di! ywtwiwi. Nite, b 46

  88. 288

Re: MINXLIVES – Ahem, um Google is media. Just saying-you've been referencing them on quite a few posts when appearantly you should have been quoting your books as sources. I'm not really concerned with your job title. I am not going to have you make statements which are not true and not offer up facts, which I have shown. For example-McCain not denouncing and cutting ties with several pastors. Maybe you should start getting info from the media because he released a statement at least 8 months ago about that. Now I must get ready for the debates. Tata for now. Logging off…

  89. 289

Through all of this, I'm glad that Islamic terrorists are FINALLY showing their support in wanting Obama elected as well! I hope all of you knew this information. When a terrorist wants someone in America to be president of America, we have a serious problem

  90. 290

They do this on purpose!!! For the ratings. It's all an act.

    Re: sweetpiece
Bush called for reform on the GSE 17 TIMES!!! He wanted to impliment a government agency to oversee the actions of these two corporations, but Dems found it unnecessary. Including those who are supposed to be keeping tabs on these companies like Dems Frank and Dodd. McCain pushed for the stricter regulations and oversight in legislation he co-sponsered in 05, look up the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005(you can find it in official congressional records). The bill was declared dead because the Dems in the committee killed it. If the dems are so fond of regulating why did they constantly ignore pushes by Bush and McCain to place stronger oversight and regulation on these companies, which could have prevented this??? This isn't Repubs fault or Reagans. This is the fault of the Democrats pushing banks into providing loans for housing to people who can't afford to pay them back. When a bank refused to give loans to people who wouldn't be able to pay them back the Dems bullied them into providing the loans by sending lawyers after them to sue them under fake cries of racism. Who was one of these lawyers? BARACK OBAMA. He's been a part of the problem even before he was in politics! To blame the collapse on Repubs and Bush is ignorant.

  92. 292

    Re: barklesdicky
Yes google is Media and guess what AMAZON.com has ALL the books I speak of. ALSO, there are non partisan websites you can use as well senate records and government sites are available online for those that don't want to BUY THE BOOKS I mentioned or check them out of a library so yes GOOGLE IT, DOGPILE IT Whatever but DIG AND LOOK. That's not a hard request and once again you hide and run w/o addressing a SINGLE FACT I have stated. If you can't stand the heat… See what happens when you assume a/b the other person on the other end of the keyboard. SLeep tight! ;)

  93. 293

At this point I'm only watching, not for the opinions but to see if there's going to be a fist fight happening.

I agree with Barbara though when she said the smear campaings on both sides (democratic and republican) really needs to stop.

  94. 294

She sounds like a broken record…. same shit, different day. It's a damn shame that she's so young and already such a relic in her views. I hate her fucking guts!!! Whoopi and Barbara are mental giants compared to ElisaBITCH, and she just can't hang with Whoopi or the others.

  95. 295

Someone needs to just slap the fool out of Elizabitch and watch her head snap back and laugh as she lands on her ass! How someone can be so anal on that show, in this day and age is beyond me. It's not jus this Presidential election either…she's shown her lunacy before on other topics. She's a blonde, fucktard.

  96. 296

    Re: phaphatcat
Ok I admit I was rude. and It was uncalled for.
yes I guess a hypocrite, sorry I made mad.

I was having a bad day.
    and I am sorry.

    Re: lawfulsexslave

"I bet there aren't more than 2 or 3 people on this site who can list five things that Obama stands for"

What difference would it make? They could list 10 things, and their reasons probably wouldn't be up to your standards. I really haven't heard either side on here list an intelligent reason why they're voting for their choice of candidate other than repeating the talking points and propaganda they've heard from their respective parties. It doesn't really matter who's running (and IMO, these two are the worst candidates the Dems/Reps ever had to offer in an election year, VPs included), a lot of you (not saying all) who will go into the voting booth are going to vote a straight ticket based on your party. All this "this only affirms my vote for so and so" talk is nonsense, because the ones saying that weren't going to vote for the other person in the first place. Jesus Christ could down to Earth and run for President, and some of you would piss on his accomplishments if he were running against your candidate.

  98. 298

I am sorry if I made people mad earlier.
I am kinda of a Hypocrite. SORRRY.

but Elizabeth is the only one that has knows her stuff on that show.
She is the only one that hasn't went through menopause.

Then Whoopi Goolberg said on the day John Mccain was on there, that what are you going to make us all slaves? and now that is just stupid and thats what is uncalled for.

but concerning obama, he wants to pull the war out of Iraq. He said it was a pointless war, it is not a pointless war because we have soldiers over there that has lost there live, and the army is fighting for them, and When Obama has somebody in his family Go to Fight in Iraq let me know.

and again sorry again for the people I made mad earlier.

  99. 299

Re: DanielDax – Great post 307.
I agree. I also find it interesting that it's usually, "You're an Obama supporter… Name reasons WHY you support him". But I rarely find people asking McCain supporters to list reasons why they think he is qualified. This is one of the very reasons people assume people are voting for Obama because he is "young" or "black"… etc. Something to think about. It makes no difference. Everyone will vote for who they want to vote for.

  100. 300

Would you shake hands with Eric Rudolf? Would you shake hands with (I know he's dead ) Timothy McVeigh? Would you shake hands with Ted Kaczynskii (the Unabomber)? The answer is - No!. You wouldn't shake hands with any of them. Would you be associated with them? No! You would distance yourself from them. Would you sit on the board of an organization that sought to improve education with any of them? No! All three of these guys are psycho. All three are domestic terrorists. They used fear, violence, intimidation, and extreme means to get out their message. That's what terrorists do. They were radicals. They bombed things. They threw every other conceivable method of communication out the window and decided to use explosives to get their point across. What makes William Ayers any different from those three men? Nothing. He's just like them. Only psychos use bombs as a means to an end. So why shouldn't we question Obama for his connection to this man. Why shouldn't we question the lack of judgment and foresight. He shook the man's hand. Something you wouldn't do with the other three men.
