According to The National Enquirer, the 17-year-old former star of Zoey 101 is 8 weeks along, a mere 3 months after giving birth to her first baby, Maddie Briann.

Lynne Spears apparently hit the roof when she found out and family and friends are urging Jamie to end the pregnancy. It's already difficult being being a teen mother to one kid, but to two?

When Jamie missed her period and a home pregnancy test kit came back positive, she "cried her eyes out," a source tells the mag.
Jamie apparently thought she couldn't get pregnant while she was still breastfeeding, but didn't she learn anything from her big sister?

Re: Lorem Ipsum – hey… not everyone works the same. it depends on the difficulty of birth as to how long you have to wait. with a cesarean it would be longer, but i was healed by 4 weeks with mdaughter… my son, another story. it was like 3 months… he was my first baby. i am uninclined to believe this story, too. a little girl like jamie lynn would be tore up after having a baby.

I really hope this story is not true. Unfortunately it is true for many other young girls in this country. I believe incidences like this are the direct result of our country's failed abstinence-only programs. If this child didn't think she could get pregnant while breastfeeding, somebody has obviously either misinformed her or just not bothered to inform her at all.
If she is breastfeeding her baby exclusively (the baby eats absolutely nothing but breast milk) then breastfeeding is an 95% effective form of birth control (that's similar effectiveness to the pill) for the first six months of baby's life.
It's very doubtful that she's pregnant. Leave the poor girl alone.
