Well I'm sorry but I disagree. To this day College campuses reject having the military set up any type of ROTC on their grounds. Meanwhile Here in Chicago, the military is setting up their ROTC is poor neighborhood Highschools to boost military enrollment case and point off the top of my head is Senn Metropolitian a Highschool in CHicago's Edgewater neighborhood that fought against the Naval Academy setting up shop there b/c they were telling Senn's students that the military was the only way to make their shiteous lives better. Parents protested against this, does this make them any less American or UNPATRIOTIC? Are College campuses UN- AMERICAN?
BTW, yes I support the troops, I DO NOT SUPPORT THE IMBECILES THAT PUTTHEM IN HARMS WAY FOR NO REASON.

The bottom line is that Governor Palin handled the heckler well. I saw a clip where Obama had a group of hecklers removed from his rally. Boo hoo. If you can't handle a group of hecklers, how you gonna handle bullies like Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong Il, Hugo Chavez, etc.?
Furthermore, if Joe Biden can bring up his wife's death and if Obama can bring up his mother's cancer, all in the name of political expediency (if you believe otherwise you are a DOPE) then Governor Palin can bring up her son any damn time she wants.

First of all, her SON is in iraq, not her. what do his decisions have to do with her character? if that's the case, then his decision to abuse prescription drugs and her daughter's decision to be a young whore are direct reflections of her decision making skills as well.
Second, what connection the country of iraq have to our constitutional right to free speech (i.e. the right to protest)? anyone who volunteers to fight in iraq either wants to die for oil or 'still' believes the lies that bush used to justify the war.

The point is Hecklers have to be removed no matter the setting. Hecklers could be potentially dangerous and Obama is NOT the only one to remove a heckler. What if a heckler made it through at the DNC? What if the heckler McCain removed had a gun? What if Sarah's heckler had a gun? Removing a heckler is NOT a sign of weakness but a precaution. The proper way to heckle is to PROTEST don't interrupt a speech that people have come to hear regardless who the soeaker is. I think my response is pretty fair and balanced, sorry if you disagree.

You want to talk about her experience, Obama is not at all qualified and he's running at the top of the Democratic ticket!!! The only reason we know his name is because he's been running for president so long. Prior to his announcement to run we hadn't heard of him, because politically speaking he has no accomplishments. That's the major difference between Palin and Obama, you can look at her political accomplishments, he has none. Our soldiers DO have a connection to our rights, they fight to keep our country safe so we can continue to live in a free country with wonderful rights like freedom of speech. Biden doesn't talk about his son in Iraq because his son is a military lawyer, he's not a soldier per se, he is hardly in harms way. Cheap attempt to score some political points. I saw the things her supporters are saying outside of rallies, and the way she ignores the nasty things people shout. I'm an Independent and vote both ways but I notice at McCain rallies, there is hate and anger toward "that one". At Obama rallies, people express hope and happiness. They represent all colors and ages; the McCain rallies look very pale in comparison.
More likely her son is over there flipping burgers in base camp than actually out there on the frontlines.
That was pretty classy. I don't know how she stands having her son over there. I think military families just get an extra dose of braveness or something. One of our family friends was shot by a sniper over there and I was a wreck while his Mom was totally brave, trusting God… tough stuff.

I've read about both candidates and I decided a long time ago back in the primaries that Obama was not what he appeared to be.Of course I never thought he'd get the nom over Hillary who has way more experience. In 1995, During Obama's First State Senate Campaign, William Ayers And Wife Bernadine Dohrn hosted a party for upper-crust Chicago Liberals At Their Home For Obama. It was pretty much a launching pad for Obama. Interesting enough Obama has forgotten about this…he was in Ayers living room and forgot about being there. I don't think he was 8 in 1995.

Don't get me wrong, I greatly appreciate the soldiers who protect us, and I also have family members in the US military, BUT they don't get to choose what they fight for and unfortunately they are fighting an oil war NOT FOR OUR FREEDOM. This isn't a war against a Nazi army that is slowly taking over, this was Bush going in where he shouldn't have and making our men and women stay over there.
