Rachel Ray likes it in the buns!!!
If throat cancer or the scarf controversy can’t shut her up, maybe a fat slab of meat between two buns can finally silence Rachel Ray?
What we mean is that the TV Chef will be so stunned by a tasty burger that she will be speechless with awe.
Or so we desperately hope.
As part of the first ever New York City Wine & Food Festival tomorrow, Friday, Miss Ray is hosting the Burger Bash, where backyard grillers to gourmet chefs will be competing for the city’s best burger.
In addition to the Bash, the self-proclaimed “burger freak” revealed plans to open her own burger joint:
“I’m going for a ’60s back-in-the-day Rat Pack-y kind of hangout, and I want the bar to be really central [and] the burgers to become a very social thing. I want people to come to the bar to see beautiful proper martinis being made and to enjoy some sliders while they’re doing business or sit in the dining room and have fine dining in ground form.”
Great.
Another overpriced novelty restaurant!
