Mark Wahlberg slammed Saturday Night Live when he was asked how he felt about the show's October sketch entitled Mark Wahlberg Talks To Animals.
The former Funky Bunch-er said:
Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And "Saturday Night Live" hasn't been funny for a long time. They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now.

He's right, that skit, like most the rest in the last 10 years, SUCK! Guess all it takes to be on that show is being able to dress like a celebrity and read a cue card.
I love this guy, but he needs to not take himself so seriously. The SNL skit was hilarious for real.

I think it takes more talent to make people laugh than to make them cry and he knows that. Thats why he has never hosted the show. Get over yourself Marky Mark, the skit was hilarious and he may not have looked like you but he sure sounded like you!

The sketch was alright…it gave me a chuckle or two. No idea why Mr. Funky bunch was soooo pissed. Sounds like he wears his calvins a lil too tight these days.
P.s SNL has been getting funnier in the last year or so, but for a while it was somewhat lame.
