It's good to see that Angie still retains a bit of her wild side!
She reveals to W magazine that she recently took her 7-year-old son, Maddox, knife-shopping and discussed with her eldest child the importance of defending others.
While others may find the choice of gift upsetting, Angelina claims that the gesture is traditional, as her late mother Marcheline Bertrand took her knife-shopping when she was 11.
That explains so much!
Jolie's fascination with weaponry never left her, and the actress still bears scars from experimental knife play in bed and admits that she used to cut herself when she was a teenager.
She says that the pain made her "feel alive."
She also admits that she and Brad do own a gun, which they keep at home and would not hesitate to use to defend their family.
Yikes!
We wonder what kind of headlines these new quotations will spark, considering how a recent Forbes survey found that Angelina's image is one of the most profitable for weeklies.

She is such a freak. Grrrreat, she's teaching her kids that knives are fun playthings! They'll turn out to be as psychotic as her. If you have ever seen the HBO movie "Gia," there's that scene where she's insistent that she pose with a knife. I don't think Angelina was acting there - she was being herself. How the hell can she call herself a humanitarian who wants to help others but then encourages her kids to use knives????WTF? She's such a 2-face hypocrite and Brad Whipped just sits there and lets it happen. Weirdo douchebags from hell!
This is enough to prove that she is mentally unstable. What part of giving a child a knife is a smart idea? She went through some loopy phases back in the day, the whole vial of blood with Billy, cutting herself and making out with her brother. I think she is "lost" and doesn't have any control in her life. That's why she moves around all the time and surrounds herself with crazy things…. has so many kids to keep her mind always active. I think if she stops it doesn't feed her "addiction" to attention so that's why you see her doing all these media interviews….
This woman is sick. Seriously, she needs to seek treatment for her mental health disorders! She is so fucked-up, I can't imagine what her kids will grow up into with this weirdo as a mother. This actually explains why she never adopts children from the US and just from the 3-rd World countries: with mental disorders she has and her record of cutting herself with knives and getting naked in the kindergarden, local authorities would never let her adopt a child, no matter how much money she owns.
Angie Voight doesn't talk to the press without image creating in mind… she probably has this image of the kids being like Kung Fu Panda with her the wise teacher… a little family of tough hot cool martial arts experts all deeply devoted because of their tough hot cool savior mommy and her side-kick the tough hot cool homecoming king.
What she doesn't seem to realize is that trying to manipulate children to be players in her fantasy vision is not really very healthy parenting.

I guess everyone will still say what a wonderful person she is and what a great mom she is. Good people can not adopt for various small reasons and here a woman who has admited she is bi, has tried to commitee sucide, wore someones blood, has admitted doing drugs and playing with knives, who stole another womans man and went on the defense saying she had tooo many lovers to sleep with a married man, she can get any child she wants. Something is not right. These kids are in an unstable home with a crazy mom and a woooopppppedddd dad!!
People are acting like this knife is in Maddox's toy box or something. HE is the only one being educated about it right now, so I HIGHLY doubt it is just laying out wherever one of the other kids could reach it. It is probably with Angie & Brad's collection, or in a safe, or put away SOMEWHERE while they are all so young. Sheesh people.

Because both of them have been SLANDERED for something they never did! I do think she is gorgeous. But, when you see pics. of her carrying her kids, they all look like they don't want to be carried by her. When my kids were little and I carried them, they leaned inward and loved to snuggle. Her children look like they are uncomfortable with her in most photos. To me that gives off a creepy vibe. That makes me wonder what those kids go through at home.
Re: Summer111 – When you carried your children, did you and your children have a paparazzi mob surrounding you, talking at once with larges flashes going off? I think its obvious why the children look like that when ambushed by the paparazzi. All other home and candid shots show the kids LOVE being near Angelina.
