Oh whatever, the holidays are coming and I don't know anyone who would not buy their children gifts; due to a failing economy. People are just holding off on their spending until the holidays and aren't doing any uneccessary spending currently.

Of course spending has dropped - especially when every show is telling you to worry, telling you how to save (like Oprah, Dr. Phil, etc) - they're having special shows talking about 'cutting back', saving money, not buying Anything!
The problem is - this is NOT the thing that is going to help the economy. We need to spend money to get things rolling again.
The good thing is this: Xmas is coming and people will spend then. Hopefully that will pump some money into the economy!

If you would read up a little about 92 it was clinton that come up with the great bailout plan that still to this day is fucked.
