It's Official!!! Madonna & Guy Ritchie To Divorce!!!

Well, this happened a bit earlier than expected!
Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, confirmed the media speculation on Wednesday, saying that the singer and her husband, film director Guy Ritchie, will divorce after 7½ years of marriage.
A statement, e-mailed to The Associated Press from Rosenberg, said that the couple had agreed to divorce, and requested the media maintain respect their privacy.
The statement, co-signed by Ritchie's representative, said the couple have not agreed to a settlement.
And there's A LOT to settle! Madonna is worth a reported $500 million +.
M is scheduled to perform in concert tonight in Boston. Should be interesting to see if she addresses this or not.

For those that say "think of the children" I'm sorry but if adults can't get along they should split. It's equally painful for children to watch two adults argue everyday under the same roof and when arguments get heated the language gets really nasty. I've had kids say to me "I wish my mom and dad would split" or "i'm tired of my mom saying she's staying because of me, she's sufferring because of me." That is just as pyschologically damaging. the last point I will make is that IF a relationship is physically abusive WALK away! No daughter nor son should be raised to think beating on your spouse is ok. No daughter should think that this is an expression of love and no boy should think it is OK to hit a girl. I'm NOT saying this is the case for Madonna and Guy but this has been the case for most divorces involving children. If anything Couples should be made to go through more rigourous requirements BEFORE getting married!
