there's nothing wrong with muslim people - i have a nice muslim family living next door. the dad works 12-16 hour days with his refrigeration business, but the kids (6 of them) run down the driveway at night to greet him when he gets home at nite. i can always count on raja sending me over her baked goodies when we celebrate our special occasions - christmas, easter, etc. - even though she doesn't recognize those holidays. they're just good, nice people, and i'm proud to have them as neighbors.

Silly kids, Obama is a practicing Christian in the United Church of Christ denomination. I grew up in this denomination and US Rep. R-Jim Ramstad still attends the the UCC church where I grew up. Obama is definitely a Christian and is part of a *bipartisan* denomination.

there's nothing wrong with muslim people - i have a nice muslim family living next door. the dad works 12-16 hour days with his refrigeration business, but the kids (6 of them) run down the driveway at night to greet him when he gets home at nite. i can always count on raja sending me over her baked goodies when we celebrate our special occasions - christmas, easter, etc. - even though she doesn't recognize those holidays. they're just good, nice people, and i'm proud to have them as neighbors.

Plus, some of the interviewees were speaking of Muslims? How does being black make anyone automatically related to Muslims. And Obama being a terrorist? I wish education standards would pick up so these attitudes aren't still found in North America. It's sad.
Silly kids, Obama is a practicing Christian in the United Church of Christ denomination. I grew up in this denomination and US Rep. R-Jim Ramstad still attends the the UCC church where I grew up. Obama is definitely a Christian and is part of a *bipartisan* denomination.

Sooo…it's not okay for a presidential candidate to have associated with a former member of the Weather Underground, but it's okay to have had a man who actually ran for president under a specific platform championing segregation to go ahead and hold a seat in the Senate for 47 years? "Well as long as he was a white Christian…" Nice. Granted he eventually tempered his views, but still. I suppose they also forgot that this country was founded on the separation of church and state.
