As someone who works in the medical field with children who have terminal illnesses, it is obvious that this child is suffering from the side effects of steroids and other powerful drugs that assist in Chemo and/or organ transplants. I think it is naive of you to think that just because a child appears "obese" that it is due to his/her diet. There are many serious medical issues that cause similar side effects, and ironically, in kids who hardly eat anything at all. I can understand where people may not know this, so at least take it for what it's worth and use this knowledge in the future.

Whats sad is that this kid is probably fighting a terminal disease and people are making fun of him and degrading his parents because of a side effect of medication. My lil brother is 9 years old and only weighs 45 lbs but looks like this. True this kid probably wont make it to 20 but it will have nothing to do with weight or what parents he has….other than that he is flippin adorable…

I used to sing this song to my little boy all the time. He's 2.5 now and still loves it. When he was born, it was one of the only things I could sing to him to get him to calm down. I adore it. He adopted the name "Cuppycake" because of this song and how much he loves it. He'll always be my little Cuppycake

I don't think the child is suffering from obeasity, I think it has some kind of medical condition that is treated with cortisone. I had a friend who looked like that because of he's treatment for brain cancer. Unfortunatly, he passed away.
