Again, by his standard, someone like Ted Kennedy is a racist because he was against Clarence Thomas, who was African-American Supreme Court Justice candidate. Again, that is your opinion. I never said there was a problem with Jamie Lynn Spears. I think it is great that she decided to have the child. With her, the difference is that she choose to be a public figure. She also has her own show on a children's network. Thus, her pregnancy should be a bit more of a shock. Imagine if Dora the Explorer got pregnant? Kids relate to these characters, like when Melissa Joan Hart was Clarissa Expains It All. Girls loved her. With all due respect, I do agree with you that she is showing responsibility in making sensible plans for this unborn child. But I can't help but feel that after being pushed into the spotlight with this, that all of these plans are most likely being planned for her (i.e., "you WILL have this baby, and you WILL marry this man"). Of course that's just speculation on my part, and I could be wrong. We'll never know, and it really isn't our business anyway, and her pregnancy should have never been brought out into the political arena. That said, I also believe if the situation were reversed, and if it were one of Obama's or Biden's daughters (hypothetically speaking, since I'm too lazy to look up to see how old they are or if Biden has any), it would be made into a much more huge event .
