Sarah Palin is my bitch. I love that chick. She is so strong of a woman and that's why the men are so threatened by her. Just like they were about Hilary. Men make me sick how they think they can run things better than woman, yet I have yet to see one of them give birth to 5 children and take care of all of that.

I have gone into this election 50/50. I am a young educated pre-med student and have always been taught to be aware of the facts. After having reviews the facts this is mailny what we have:
John McCain-"war hero" (technically he wasnt,he became a prisoner of war, that doesnt necessarily make you a hero) I did like him before he became unbelievably right-sided because of what his colleagues were telling him to do. Sarah Palin-was miss Alaska, now as all of you know-that is a joke. Once McCain picked Palin I was pretty set that i wasn't going to vote for him. She is a governor of a super small town, with unbelievable crazy beliefs. Her husband is a successionist;whose leaders hate America and the policies we've built our country on, but of course noone mentions that. The Country is too worried about having a HALF Black Senator running for President. I live in New York so I have been very lucky to grow up in a Culturally Diverse environment.
Now here's Obama-President of Harvard Law School, worked his way from nothing, and was always willing to help the underdog. Maybe hasn't bee in office for so long, but let's face it, he is more than qualified.
Joe Biden is the main reason why i'm voting for Obama. Joe Biden is probably one of the most educated Vice Presidents we'll ever have. He is a professor of Constitutional Law-that is why noone has been willing to go up against him in any of those aspects;because they will lose. The bottom line here is who do I feel safer with as President/Vice President. That is Obama/Biden. As Fact, here it is; John McCain has battled Cancer 3 times, he is also 72 years old, fact tells us that there is a huge chance he could drop dead tomorrow, and if he did=would you feel safe with Sarah Palin running this country? Be honest with yourselves, i'm not talking about what your parents are telling you, or your friends-decide for yourself, do YOU really think it is a good idea? Most of you dont but dont want to go against what people around you believe, btu that's the beauty of this Country, THINK FOR YOURSELF. I am voting for the most intelligent/educated people that use LOGIC. The best source of valid/sound statements.

If you look at problems in California, they are handled by both parties with the federal government occasionally stepping in. Why is that Mississippi, which also experienced a great deal of devastation, was so well equipped to handle the storm. I would argue that its because of the Republican leadership at that time in the state. That being said, how do you argue the then Democratic Governor of Louisiana failed to mobilize national guard troops? Or, that Mayor Nagin was busy planning a party while the whole event took place. If you are going to be that morbid and say McCain could pass tomorrow, let's look at the facts. There have been three reported assassination attempts on Barack Obama and he hasn't even been elected. He was elected to be US Senator, yet he has campaigned for President since he got in office and used our money to appear on tv, like Meet the Press. In the state legislature, for over 10 years, he did nothing also, no significant legistlation. So, how does a guy like this get elected, go into office and do nothing and then do what he says he's going to do. Explain that genius?
Sarah Palin is actually a very good actor - unlike Alec Baldwin, who couldn't even look up from the cue cards - he was awful!
If Obama wins, his party will say he deserved it. If he loses, his party will blame it on racism. I heard that some people are ready to riot if he loses. What's going to happen if he's elected and things do go his way? He can always blame it on racism, I guess.

My husband was medically discharged last year and I'm very against this war. I know the evils of war and I hope Obama will do what we want in that regard. I just have doubts, as I should. What politician do you know that isn't a liar? What politician do you know that has given everything promised? What politician do you know that hasn't flip flopped? They all do, hence my distrust.
Yes, IMO, Obama is a better choice. But will he be what we expect him to be? Or will we regret voting him in? How are you so sure that he's everything you want? If these questions reflected reality,do you really believe the election numbers would be as close as they are?

It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative
qualities in another when there is a color difference.

Let me explain…..It means you don't have the luxury to get in a car (cause you don't have a car) and evacuate. It means that you can get on a bus that they provided but where would you go? You can't afford a hotel. They didn't open the stadiums until after the storm. Some poverty stricken people could not evacuate even if they wanted to. Everything is not always so cut and dry.

i'd also just like to add…ppl who are voting for obama. I think its great to vote whoever you want to. just hope its for the right reasons…not for the reasons that all the "in" celebs are voting for obama..blah…please just be educated and research both…i just hate that celebs like puff daddy (or who ever he is today), pink, matt damon…to slander one candidate yet not really knowing the others background..or really researching them. blah whatever everyone will do what they want but please just really do yourself a favor and educate yourself don't be blinded by media and celebs..
