Colin Powell Endorses Barack Obama!!!!!

The former Secretary of State said that McCain's appointment of unqualified Sarah Palin as his running mate showed bad judgement and that's one of the big reasons why he chose to endorse his opponent.

In the New York Times Magazine this summer (2008) McCain said, "Colin Powell, a man who I admire as much as any man in the world, person in the world…" McCain called Powell one of the most "credible" and "respected men in America.

Well, leave it to you to focus on the "not cute" comment. Let me back up. I never said you were ugly, nor was my comment tied to your political affiliation; it was directed more toward your attitude. I really don't care what your beliefs are and I honestly have no real beef with you. It's one thing to hold on strongly to your beliefs, but it makes you a bigger person if you agree to disagree with someone. I've read some of your posts, and I have seen you get defensive when someone responds negatively to them, like you're taking it personally. Sure some people provoke you, but a lot of your responses have been quite nasty for no reason. My "not cute" comment meant you're not that hot to think you're above everyone else on here, and believe me, regardless how beautiful you may actually be, an attitude like that can take away a lot from your attractiveness.

Yeah, I admit to logging on with different names, but that has more to do with forgetting what email I used or my password than being a "coward". Trust me, there's no one here that scares me. But this isn't MySpace, and I really don't have the time nor desire to try to establish my identity on here. My time on PH is mostly for amusement, and when I do make an occasional comment, it's usually directed toward someone who made an insane, bogus, ignorant, or hypocritical comment that I felt warranted a retort. you know the funny thing is, everyone continues to say that Colin Powell is endorsing Obama because he's black, but Colin Powell is biracial black/white. I will of course accept your apology and I do apreciate that you are admitting it was wrong to attack me on such a personal level. Unlike you may think I am actually not a nasty person at all, but it doesn't dismiss the fact that I can dish it just as well as I can take and I can take it just as well as I can dish it. You can't make an argument about someone being nasty and "attacking other" by doing the same thing in which you are expressing I shouldn't do.
However, it is whats to be expected from a message board especially one such as this, but I prefer to debate my political opinions somewhat anonymously than in such a direct manor because frankly I have tons of friends/people who support me in real life who are huge Obama supporters and I don't like arguing with people who know me in real life. Regardless I don't hold any type of grudge or ill will against you, politics can definitely bring out the worst in people. Well thank you I really do appreciate it and promise I'm not some mean nasty terrible person at all. I do definitely get a little worked up on this board and I'll occasional throw an insult back, but I do try to be a civil and just stick to debating the issue. In all honesty this is really my only way to vent as I don't believe in arguing politics in every day life because it's very easy to burn bridges in LA and I'm probably one of the few conservatives around.
