I agree with Sarah Palin. Does that mean I hate gays? No. I have many gay friends who know what I think and we're still friends. It's funny how many democratic liberals get so defensive and take everything as a personal attack, then turn around with guns blazing. Seriously, we all have the right to believe what we believe. What I don't like is when that stance (gay marriage) is blown out of proportion to mean "i hate gays". So sad. I enjoy your site Perez. Just imagine if conservatives had all sorts of sites, news feeds, celebrities saying, "F*&$ Obama!". You would blast them to death. Can't we all just get along?

Second of all, I am getting my Master's Degree, which means I am actually more educated the Governor Palin, who only has a Bachelor's. So, although I have not been a Governor, yet, I do consider myself more intelligent that Palin. I have a stronger educational background, I have traveled the world more and I think I have a better grip on current events than her. She is an embarrassment and a joke.

The Born-Alive Infants Protection Act (BAIPA) both in the Illinois and Federal legislatures was meant to make illegal death by neglect of born but unwanted infants. These bills were opposed by the bulk of the Democrat Party because of the fact that the original bills could have been construed to say that a pre-birth fetus was a "person" that was protected by law. So, the bill in Congress was altered to address that concern by adding a "neutrality clause" that made it clear that the bill would not protect a fetus in utero.
As Obama continues to tell the tale, as a State Senator he said he voted against the Illinois bill because the Federal "neutrality clause" was not included and that therefore he could not support the Illinois bill. Turns out he is not telling the truth about this fact. Even worse, he knows better because he was part of the legislative committee that added that very "neutrality clause" to the very bill he voted against in 2003.
