Thank you. I have been to Cuba and it is quite pretty. I am not saying communism works, since I am a proud citizen of a democratic country. However, it is not fair to be told that you are not allowed to enter a country because of someone's belief. If you chose to not go to Cuba, good for you. But it is hindering your freedom of travel. And if Americans are so anti-communism, why not ban traveling to other communist states?
Btw. I was never praising the Cuban healthcare system. I was saying universal healthcare works in Canada, the Uk, France, Italy, etc… And that it is really sad how Americans think that social healthcare equates to communism.
If you think the patriot act is working, good for you. However, I find it incredible funny how Americans say "I don't want 'big' government because it will infringe upon my freedoms." but then they support the patriot act. That was my entire point originally.

People don't see it but if he gets elected craps hitting the fan. He will not follow through with any of his promises and people will wish they voted for the right guy. Im sick of this world. People don't like McCain cause he's not against the war, but its cause he is proud of that he's done. If anyone can get us out of the war its him, If anything is going to change it would be from McCain cause his experience and Knowledge.

I am biased by nature, my whole family is Cuban, except me I was born in Puerto Rico. The problem is that when you have everything taken away from you, possessions, freedom of speech & of self, etc., you just don't go back there!!! Because the govt. that took everything from you at some point is the same govt. that will profit from you visiting their beaches and beautiful hotels!! So every time you travel there, you have to think that you are making the govt. richer as the cubanos get poorer. Every election year Cubans get all hyped up bc Candidates know how important the Cuban vote is in South Florida and they make promises on how they're going to deal with the situation and every year it is brushed to the side. It is a sad sad story!!! I think that the ban has not been lifted because of the pervasive hate from Fidel and his reluctance to the "evil capitalism". It is true that the ban is not from the Cubans on the island but from Washington, Hopefully his brother Raul will start shifting towards peace and democracy!!—–Like I said, The Patriot Act is intrusive, but I've got nothing to hide. It is scary also but you know, I have to belief that the reason why we haven't had any more attacks is because this measure by govt is working effectively!!!

I think he is the exact opposite. The Iranian President, years ago, said in one of his speeches. That it may take time but if they can't destroy the infidels (us) from the outside they will do it from the inside. What better way then to put one of there own in the White House. Barack has already said that he will stand with the Muslims. he wrote it in his own memoir. People are absolutely crazy to give this man the keys to the White House.
Re: erhg74 – I know I may one of very few who actually believe there are/were weapons. Bush has not always made the right decsion, but we as a country did back him when this war started. Before we went to war, Bush gave them many chances to reliquish there weapons. Of course they didn't, they had there allies in Syria hide them. I have a freind who went to Iraq and despite what America believes there were weapons and they probably still have assess to them. The enemies ofcourse took them out of Iraq and hid them somewhere else. It doen't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. My friend who fought in Iraq backs this up. He was on a team who went to Syria to try to locate the weapons. Ofcourse big media doesn't want us Americans to belive this and Bush and our Military can't come out and just say what they are doing (like "hey we have good reason to believe that there are weapons of mass destruction that the Iraqis have moved to ________, we just want to let the US citizens and the world know that our soldiers are going there now") and because it would compromise our soldiers who are on these missions trying to protect us.

The night we declared war, I happened to be working very late. Had a lot of down time, and knowing this War was for the profit of a few, went looking for Cheney's ties to companies that manufactured war materials, etc. I found 13 website and saved them all as 'favorites."

The next morning when I came in, 11 of the 13 had been pulled off the internet i.e. "could not be found." The other 2 were pulled several days later.

Also, the Bush's are investors in one of only 3 companies world-wide that can put out oil-well fires. Millons would be made if there was a need to put out oil-well fires. Small surprise we declared war on a country with . . oil wells?

Regardless of what people say about Bush, we as Americans have not been attacked on our soil since 9/11. Right after we were attacked like some 90% of Americans thought another attack was imminent in the near future. He has kept us safe here. Most of our soldiers (85%) say it was right to go to war. That we are making a difference and they would gladly and many have volunteered to go back. regardless of you stance on the war or your opion of Bush, please don't say he doesn't care about our safety. It just isn't true.
