Is our precious LezLo still up to her old tricks?
The wacktress was apparently such a brat on the set of Ugly Betty that her 6 episode deal to guest star on the show was cut to just 4.
A production source snitched that Lindsay showed up flanked by her entourage, smoked like a chimney, and trashed her dressing room so hard that it had to be repainted. But what’s worse is that in a bitchy play of power, Lindsay refused to come to set until the show’s star, America Ferrera, was there.
In one episode, America’s character exacts revenge on high school nemesis Lindsay by pantsing her – and during the shoot, Lindsay wasn’t wearing any underwear!
But, a source close to LezLo is quick to defend her, saying that it was all America’s fault, and that Lindsay has broken her commando habit (Remember that?) and “wears underwear all the time now!”
Well, good!
The pal says that America pantsed her during a rehearsal when she wasn’t supposed to carry through with the action. Lindsay was so embarrased “she started crying.”
Oh Lindsay, it’s nothing we all haven’t seen before!
The source goes on to say that it was the cast of Fringe that messed up the dressing room, and that Lindsay only traveled with her sober companion
and her manager
and her assistant
and her girlfriend, saMAN…
and occasionally her publicist.
Ultimately “America didn’t like her and got her kicked off.”
But the actresses’ respective reps are playing nice.
America’s mouthpiece says, “America is grateful to have had her on the show and thinks everyone should tune in to see how great the episodes are.”
And Lindsay’s rep says, “Lindsay was scheduled for six episodes and is appearing in four but had a lovely time.”
Reps make the world seem like such a pleasant place.
