An interesting statistic!
Mormons all across the country are donating funds and volunteers to support Prop 8, which seeks to write discrimination into the California constitution - banning gays and lesbians from enjoying the same right and protections afforded to them by marriage that their straight friends and family members currently enjoy.
77% of funding for Prop H8te comes from Mormons.
What a great use of their money!

To whoever said that ALL religions are against homosexuality, you are an idiot. Not ALL religions are. Be sure before you speak (or write, whatever). My parents are Buddhists, and while it doesn't say homosexuality is okay, it doesn't say it's WRONG. So there. Plus, I wish some people would just think for themselves and think rationally instead of just blindly following religion.
It is sickening to me how uneducated the country is on mormon beliefs. How can you people go on and on about something that you obviously know nothing about? The ignorance of these comments is absolutely astonishing! Not to mention…isn't it hypocritical to fight for one misunderstood group (homosexuals) and profess so much hatred towards another (Mormons)? This is really sad. I currently live in Utah (not by choice! The military sent us here) and the curch has actually put out to all their members to tell everyone they know to vote on Prop 8. The saddest part is these blind mice will do as they wish. God for bid they think for themselves. I beleive they call that a cult!

This does not surprise me at all. I am an ex-Mormon and they are homophobic whack jobs. However, there have always been insistant rumors that male missionaries, who live together in pairs, often resort to man on man love because they're not allowed to be with women during their 2-year mission. BTW, WTF is up with the guy's nose??? It looks like the bottom of it got chomped off. Some other odd Mormon beliefs:
- the Garden of Eden is in northwest Missouri
- the moon is occupied by 9-foot tall men who dress as Quakers
- men can become actual god rulers of their own planets in the afterlife and have as many wives as they want
- Jesus and Lucifer (the future Satan) were actually brothers
- the Native Americans were descended from a tribe of Israelites who came to North America around 600 BC. The original tribe eventually broke into 2 separate groups - the more refined, light-skinned city-dwelling Nephites while the other group, the Lamanites, became dark-skinned and went to live in the wilderness countryside and became the Native Americans.

I would like to inform you that there are several religions who are against Prop 8 not just the Mormons (like the Catholic church for example) and that it is extremely rude and unprofessional to target a religion. I get that you want to express your disliking for John Mccain, anti-gay marriage, and Mischa Barton but going after The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is wrong. You should also know that I was a frequent visitor of your sight but after today, I'm realizing this sight is a joke and that TMZ.com is a better source instead. It would be great if there were enforceable laws preventing people outside of a state from donating to political campaigns in that state. Why should Mormons in Utah be able to influence California elections? Let the Mormons work on fixing up Utah and the polygamist Mormon sects.

You might THINK it's a choice to be gay, and you all go out there and preach that it is, but some of my friends who are homosexual have told me that if they had a choice, they wouldn't be gay. I understand how hard it is to be LDS in a would where people are constantly telling you how "crazy" or "stupid" you are are constantly, but you have to realize that it is so much more difficult being a homosexual in this county. At least mormons are just considered crazy (yes, I understand there have been hate crimes against mormons too as my friend's brother was almost purposely run over by a car in alabama on his mission). Yet, in the end, I just feel like the LDS church standing on every street corner in my city has gotten to be too much. It's distracting for drivers and it's upsetting for the people that it is discriminating against. The worst part about it is is that they wear the biggest smiles on their faces while they wave around signs that promote hate.
