TV execs are salivating at the mouth to offer Palin her own show!!!
The Early Show producer Steve Friedman tells The Hollywood Reporter, "Any television person who sees the numbers when she appears on anything would say Sarah Palin would be great."
Just look what she did for SNL!
But another TV exec says Nooo way.
"I would not put her on the air. I find her a little stiff, and her ability to read the room is not quite fully developed."
Winking into the camera is cute for only so long.
Unless the show features a swimsuit competition and a flute solo.

I'm not too crazy about Palin. She's a little bit too harded nosed for my taste. But I love McCain. And mark my words, I think McCain will win this election. And I will tell you exactly why. It will all come down to demograhics and race. There are a lot of abled bodied individuals who are going to vote on election day, but also a good percentage of banner waiving Obama supporters will be breast feeding thier kids, smoking crack or won't be able to find transportation the voting stations. As commander in chief of the entire state of Alaska, I would certainly say she is very well qualified, certainly much more than one of several senators from whereeverville. One thing that completely amazed me is the way the news media has said so many time: Well, who is going to take care of the children and look after the house and take care of the husband? Did it ever occure to anyone maybe her husband will take on full time responsibilites of watching and taking care of the kids and home? Now, it turns out that over 90% of Hillary's supporters are supporting Obama and have turned against McCain largely because they were offended by his choice of Palin. Hillary's female supporters have much more in common with Obama's views than they do with Palin's. Does that make them sexist? Palin did one interview with Katie Couric and showed that she knows very little about anything. She couldn't name any Supreme Court decision she disagreed with other than Roe V. Wade; she felt she was qualified in foreign policy because, from her window, she could see Putin's plane flying over Alaska, etc. If a male Vice-Presidential candidate had given such inane, uninformed responses — and had refused to do other serious media interviews — he would probably be off the ticket by now. In her debate with Biden, Palin didn't even attempt to answer a whole bunch of questions she was asked — because she simply didn't know what to say. It is hardly sexist to criticize Sarah Palin on her merits — or on her lack of merits.

Perhaps, Palin was offered the show because 1) she received her BA degree in Jouranlism from the University of Idaho 2) she actually had a job as sportcaster (so she already has experience in the television industry) 3) She would bring an automatic audience with her whihc translates into ratings and advertising dollars. As for her wardrobe malfunction I believe the uproar is related to the simple hypocricy of it. She and her campaign crafted and promoted the image that she was just like Joe Sixpack and hockey moms in their faces and behind their backs she was wearing coture that, generally, neither category would ever be able to afford in two lifetimes. It also didn't hurt that both she and McCain constantly criticize the media, so I'm sure there is a degree of spite as well. (1)
