Jennifer Hudson's Mother and Brother Shot To Death!

This is so horrible. Beyond words.
The mother of Oscar winning actress Jennifer Hudson has been killed.
Investigators said two shooting victims were discovered inside a home belonging to Hudson's mother just before 3:00 PM on Friday.
The home is located at 7019 South Yale in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood.
One of the victims was 57-year-old Darnell Hudson.
The other victim was identified as Jennifer's brother, Jason. A cousin who lived nearby discovered the bodies.
Darnell was shot in the head and Jason was shot in the chest, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office.
The shooting is believed to be domestic, police said.
Hudson is said to be flying to Chicago from Tampa.

Update: A search is under way for a young boy who is missing from the home. A child, possibly Jennifer Hudson's 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, is missing, according to sources. Police are searching for an SUV that was seen in the area, a 1994 white Suburban, Illinois license plate number X584859.

To those who live in Chicago and have commented: I too live here, the murder rate in the city has become unprecendented. We're now the highest in the country.
And all the officials and Daley can do is shake their heads, yet they do nothing about it. NOTHING. The rising rate of CHILDREN alone that have been killed in the past year is deplorable. These city officials spend more time worrying abou the damn Olympics coming to town or garbage men who sleep on the job then the crime rate. It's horrible.
I hope that this is a wake up call that everyone is caught in this crossfire of violence. I hope Jennifer Hudson, goes after the city. Why? NOT all of Chicago is violent. The city is the most segregated Northern City HOWEVER, The city is beautiful and fun to live in. The city is also very family friendly. Neighborhoods where blaks are rounded up and cut off from opportunities with no jobs nearbye are sadly like this. The police that "protect" those neighborhoods often CONTRIBUTE to the violence there not to mention they are VIOLENT themselves.
