Suspect Caught In Hudson Slayings!

In what can only be described as a nightmare come to life, Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were brutally murdered on Friday by what appears to be a disgruntles family member.
Here is the latest on this horrific story:
- It was Jennifer's older sister, Julia Hudson, who made the gruesome discovery after returning home from her day shift at a bus company.
- She summoned the police and also reportedly told them that her seven-year-old son was missing.
- Authorities immediately issued an all points bulletin for the missing boy, Julian King.
- Police said the youngster might have been abducted from the home and could be in the company of William Balfour, a suspect in the double homicide, who should be considered armed and dangerous. Balfour is also Julian's step-father.
- Balfour reportedly stole Jason Hudson's car on Friday, a white Chevrolet Suburban truck.
- On his MySpace page, Balfour described himself as a "proud parent" and played up his links to Jennifer Hudson. "I might as well let you all know that Jennifer Hudson is my wife's sister. I'm proud of her and wish her nothing but the best in what she do. But don't hit me up asking about her, other than that it's on!" he wrote.
- Balfour is currently on parole after serving six and a half years for attempted murder. He also has a conviction for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
- The ex-con was taken into custody by police late Friday.
- Balfour was not co-operating with investigators and was not disclosing the whereabouts of the seven-year-old boy.

That is so sad. It must be really tough for Jennifer to be going through this. stay strong!

that sick son of a bitch. how do people have the heart to take so much from someone. it was relatives of him at that. he needs to rot in jail for the rest of his life. death penalty wont do justice. but i do believe people that deliberately kill others need the death penalty. they need to experience what those victims experience in the light of death.
First, Jennifer and her family are in my prayers. Second, this has nothing to do with the area where her mom lived. I live in Chicago, things are bad all over. This has to do with the choices we make to let people in our lives. This guy if he is the one who has done this, has a past where he has made some really bad choices. Before you commit to a relationship with some one you really need to think things out. Are they ok to let into your life?
Does anybody else think that theres no reason her sister should have to work a shift at a BUS company if Jennifer is as successful as she is? family first, right? My prayers are with her though…thats a hard loss.

Prayers to Jennifer and her family…..I can't even beging to imagine what they are dealing with. And that poor baby boy…..I hope he is found soon.
It's really sad, but I'm sure a little bit of Jennifer's pain is due to the fact that the public knows how "ghetto" she let her family be. I make an AVERAGE salary, but I make DAMN sure my family isn't around garbage and convicts, even if I have to pay their bills as well as my own. My sister was dating an abusive asshole, and I paid for her to get away from him and a new apartment. I know Jennier Hudson makes more than $40k a year. I paid my sister's rent and mine for nearly a year on THAT. She probably feels enormous guilt. I would too. I would give my life for my family, yet she was out probably doing something to promote her "career" while her family's lives were being threatened. She could have paid to fly them out to Florida, or wherver the hell she was. It's pretty sickening to neglect your family just because you become "famous."

anyway, you kept your sister out of harms way, good for you. but what if she just wanted to stay where she was? and i'm not sure, i'm just guessing, but $40,000 per year is not going to get you 2 apartments that are in high quality, safe neighborhoods…..at least not in the areas of this country i am familiar with.
ok. if you go to google dot com, select maps and enter the address of the murders 7019 South Yale chicago as per the prior topic) you can chose "street view" and actually see the house and neighborhood. you will see that it is a far cry from the ghetto. lower to middle-middle class maybe. houses are mostly older, well kept, yards are clean…..if the family had history there, church friends, school friends, neighbors, etc….i could see why they didn't want to move.
there's a lot to be said for just being happy with your lot in life.
