I do not like McCains plan for it only benefits the young and healthy. That would be nice if we all were like that but it reminds me of the movie "Logan's Run" where all the old people were disposed of! Seriously, read, for I am confident you will find Obama's plan preferable. As Elizabeth Edwards stated, she would not ba able to be insured under McCains plan. I am a high school teacher for at risk students and the majority of my families are on government assistance and are true examples of this theory. It is harder to control educated self reliant people…… If you are a hard working American trying to get by, the government is not there for you. I'm really sorry to come across jaded, but if I was voting I'd probably vote for Obama because I think he is the greater intellect of the two candidates that have a chance of winning. But, I've thought for a long time that I'd love to see a better alternative pop up between the two powerful parties, and it has nothing to do with individual leaders of the parties. I hesitate to state my view of presidents but it's really much more complicated than it seems on the surface, or you could say much less complicated. I wish I'd never read any history, thus I wouldn't be so jaded.
