While Miley and her douchebag new boyfriend are up to no good…
Slutty Cyrus' ex-boyfriend spent the weekend setting an example for young kids everywhere.
Nick Jonas gave of his time and celebrity to attend and speak at the L.A. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk at Dodger Stadium on Saturday.
Nick is himself a diabetes sufferer, something he's been very vocal about.
And he had to suffer with Miley for far too long!

Okay people, you know I'm an old 'Nam vet, have kids older than most of you, but when I saw the Rolling Stone interview with Nick Jonas meeting Elvis Costello, one his of heroes, and I gotta tell you that old AndyXXVII here has a wife and mother of his children who is a diabetic, it gave me a whole new respect for the kid. You got AndyXXVII's blessing Nick, and that aint' too easy to come by.

I'm also a juvenile diabetic, and let me tell you I don't "suffer" from my disease. It is a part of who I am, and if you take good care of yourself there is no suffering ever involved!
And good for Nick! The more awareness we get, the more fundraising we can do towards the cure!

Wow, you guys just don't realize…
Nick Jonas has diabetes and therefore he knows what it's like to live with a disease, in particular diabetes, and wants to make it better for everyone.
He and his other brothers also contribute to other charities for different things, and was just on Ellen to help with her dunk tank (breast cancer fundraiser type thing). They have done so many different charity or awareness things that aren't for diabetes.
And besides if you had diabetes I'm sure you would be raising awareness too. He is a GOOD GUY.

Perez, I love you but u can be so inappropriately negative sometimes! As an individual living with type I-or for anyone living with an auto immune and chronic disease-it's much better to not dwell over the "suffering" aspect of living life with a disease and continue every day with positivity and strength rather than being a pessimistic brat. Regardless of Nick's personal connection to type I diabetes, he has a great soul and heart and I believe that even if he did not have diabetes, he would still contribute his time and dedication to one or more good causes. At least he's using his fame to a positive advantage! Imagine if we all were to put our hearts and minds to such causes on a daily basis…..

See See! now i'm a fan of jonas brothers but i am getting a little tired of hearing about nicks diabetes every single day from someone. Now this might sound offensive and i'm tying not be offensive but diabetes is not a big deal like HIV and Aids which alot of teens are getting out there. For miley i don't think she's a slut im not her #1 fan but i don't hate her i kind of like her. Not every girl is the same and she is a virgin look at her finger you will see jonas brothers are not the only ones with purity rings and she might be acting bratish with the nick thing and she might be dating that 20 year old guy but and least he is not 10 years older than her like other people do she is free to do what she wants.
