But I don't feel race is a reason to vote for or against someone (and I don't get the impression Obama would want someone to vote for him because of his race). No, that is NOT all you said. You suggested that the world supports Obama because we want to see the US crash. That's awful. Even if most of the world was just looking out for their best interest, their best interest would be to NOT see the US get "utterly destroyed" BECAUSE we are connected and dependent on the superpower that is the US. If some countries did have that ulterior motive, and you took their opinions out of the polls, the polls still would show almost unanimous support for Obama.
