I just have to say that the media treated Obama with kid gloves during the campaign. So, I expect them to do the same for as long as they can get away with it. When he faces criticism, he will play the race card. I hope the Russians and Al-Qaeda will be respectful of his feelings. He is so sensitive we wouldn't want to see him cry in public. What's Leno and Letterman to do? No more target in the White House. They'll have to take it all out on Biden. I'm sure he'll give them plenty of material with a gaff every other day.

I just can’t stop crying! This is the first time that I have ever decided to vote and it is because I believe in what President Obama can do to bring change in the United States!
I am so proud to be an American and see that this country is filled more with people that believe in choosing a candidate based on who they are and what they can do to bring change to our great country regardless of their race or gender.
This piece of history is picking up where the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. left off and will continue to show the world that the majority of Americans believe in an America where people are equal regardless of race, religion, or gender. We as a nation will pull together and begin to rebuild our country together. End a war that has essentially caused our great country to go into a recession. Assist the people that worked so hard for so many years to have a piece of the great American dream and own their own homes. Create jobs to provide them to the people that have worked hard every day to take care of their families. And hopefully show the American people that diversity is a wonderful thing and that the stereotypes of people of different races and religions are not what they claim to be and will not be tolerated in our country.

I was very happy and moved to tears when I heard the words President-Elect Barack Obama. Whatever your political views we as Americans need to come together and SUPPORT our President-Elect. There have been other African-Americans who have tried to run for President and could not even get the party nomination so for the idiots who claim Obama won only because he is black I can only say read a newspaper before you post your stupid racist remarks.

I'm also excited that Obama one. I feel in my soul that this is the best choice for our country. That he will rebuild America from the ground up and back into the country that our four fathers wanted. This vote was very important to me because the choice I made was what I thought was not only good for helping the economy and the country unit, but to supply my children with a happy and healthy future.
