Selena Rebuffs Carrie!

Despite claiming to be drama-free, Carrie Underwood's recent anti-politics comments have garnered the little country crooner some negative attention.
Sweet Selenita responded to Carrie's statement that celebrities should not make public political endorsements with some disapproval.
"A lot of people do look up to certain celebrities and will follow in their footsteps," Gomez says, but with wisdom beyond her years, cautioned, "I think you just have to be aware of what you're saying."
Although the little Disney star is not yet old enough to vote, she was active in encouraging the under-18 crowd to educate themselves. She helped launch UR Vote Counts, which conducted a faux election for teens, with voting booths set up in malls.
And high schoolers all over elected Obama for president as well.
Selena observed, "I'm glad that people are getting involved with the election. This election has been the biggest with celebrities."
Which means that Carrie must have "lost respect" for names such a Steven Spielberg and Brad Pitt.

Once Johhny cash died he took country music with him. Carrie Underwood isnt popular. Carrie is just know for American Idol. How come I didnt see or hear Carrie at the MTV VMA's. I saw Selena Gomez there. I also didnt see carrie at the teen choice awards. I saw Selena there and she was a presenter. Face it Selena Gomez is much more popular than Carrie underwood. Does Underwood have her own production company. No she doesnt. Selena has her own company. HA HA I WIN YOU LOSE

You keep talking like you actually know what you're saying but everything that comes out of your mouth is wrong. Do you have something else to say? I'm sure whatever it is will just be replied to with facts proving you wrong. I also noticed that you dropped your theory about Country Music not having 9 million fans. You really shouldn't talk about things that you know nothing about. You CLEARLY are ignorant when it comes to Country Music. Just because it's not shown on MTV doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Country Music has a huge fan base, it's just not associated with MTV because it's two completely different genres. They have nothing in common.
I find it hard to believe that you're 20 with the way you're spitting out information that isn't true. You're just defending a Disney Star with whatever you can find and it's getting ridiculous. You can believe all you want that Selena is more popular to Carrie and that Country music isn't popular… it's not going to change the facts. You're wrong and i'm gonna leave it at that. Your right I dont know that much about country music because like most of the US. I dont listen to crappy music. Just b/c it has alot of fans doesnt make the best. so what if selena is not old enough to vote. i mean everyone in my high school was cheering like crzy when obama one and we cant even vote.
