Ejected VP candidate Sarah Palin opened up to CNN on Friday and slammed McCain campaign advisors for telling lies.
She totally knows Canada is part of North America!
And, of course she knew that Africa is a continent!

You won't be starting a business, buying a car, or paying college tuition with $500. That money may help some, but not all. What people are missing about the redistribution is that the majority will suffer. The higher taxes will fall very heavily on businesses. More businesses will outsource their jobs, more people will be fired, more people laid off, and more businesses will collapse. The higher taxes will be too costly a burden while in an economic recession. Most businesses are struggling as it is. A check from the govt. doesn't help much once you lose your job because your business failed under the higher taxes.

Re: richiephx – Re: richiephx – I guess I didn't fault Obama's spending because I am one of the small donors that donated three seperate times. This being said, I agree with public campaign finance. However since their is no law inplace enforcing such Obama did nothing wrong. I am sure if McCain believed he could raise the kind of money that Obama did he would have done exactly the same thing. Of course, based on the way he ran his campaign, I may be giving him too much credit.
I am thrilled that America came together- Hispanics, Whites, Blacks, Asians, Poor and wealthy, young and old, etc. My faith in america has been refreshed. I am also thrilled with world reaction. The U.S. is not alone in this world, more than ever we are a world community. I have gone to sleep every night since the election with a safe feeling I have not experienced in a very long time. I am not making this up; the experience was unexpected.
Let's try to all come together and give Obama a chance. We do not have a choice anyway. I hold my hand out to you and all McCain supporters. I respect your opinions; I just hate personal attacks.PEACE!
Re: jefdo – I see your point about her only wearing what she was given, if this is true. I know that we have basically been hearing gosip and there are two side to every story. However, If she did buy them herself or she did have staffers put purchases for her husband and children on their personal credit cards; she flat out did wrong. Also, most of what I have heard, also taken with a grain of salt, is that her family members were mostly not invited to the events she charged Alaska for. She requested that they come. I work for an organization that requires occasional travel. I have at times taken my child with me; I paid my childs way. i have even been to events where the exact program that the Governors daughters took part in when she brought them to D.C. for A meeting of Governors. This program, which she noted was her children's purpose for being there is CHILD CARE and nothing more. Take your kids, this is great, but pay for them yourself. It sounds like the Palin's have a decent enough income to cover their expenses.
Re: jefdo – One more thing, I am not nor have I ever stated that she did not do good things for Alaska. I really believe she is loyal to and loves Alaska. I can't honestly pick apart her leadership in Alaska as I really do not follow the Goveronships of state other than my own. I do not think she is a bad person, we just do not share very mant views. I respect her dedication of family and do find her rise to power impressive. Luckily we live in the U.S. where we all have opinions and we can all share our opinions.
Re: richiephx – I am a bit offened that you assume that I only listen to people and media that share my views. I am a well rounded voter. I even at times listen to Rush and have on occasion agreed with him. I think I can point out most posts on here that come from people that ONLY listen to Rush and watch FOX news. I am an open minded person and try to understand and respect all opinion, where I share them or not. This election was more about Bush than McCain/Palin or Obama/Biden. Bush has done a horrible job in my opinion and from the polls I have read, I am in the majority.

The campaign finance issues are ridiculous. The campaign purchased clothing for her and her family. The media's slant to the left has been very apparent. Pretty ironic they don't speak about how the Obama's spent their money considering they made far more than McCain, but it's not suprising, that would ask the media to acutally have some journalistic integrity for once.
