Again, it's democracy at work whether it be 1 percentage point or 20 percentage points. We live in a society and country where we can speak up, vote, and rally for support maturely. The web site you reference with this link does look like you are attacking the Mormons and only the Mormons. California is a huge state; there are a lot of people who were for it and against it. Whether it's passed through by a small percentage or not, that one percent makes all the difference. The people have spoken and now it's time to move on. Life is not fair and you have to endure, push forward, and make what you can of this life that has been provided for you. If you are that passionate, don't promote hate, promote change and get out their, fund it, campaign for it next go around, and see if you can help make a difference. After all it is your right as an American. Good luck to all and happy sabbath.
your children cannot be taught anything regarding life choices (as in sex and marriage) w/in a public school system without your permission. that was the whole point of the article (which you apparently didn't read).. you were LIED to. that's why prop h8te is so unfair.
have a problem with gay marriage? don't have one.
i pity your kids. gay kids always seem to be born into the most ignorant, least accepting families.
Re: DLR in Canada – So now it may be because we have some of the highest illiteracy rates is why Prop 8 passed? NOT! Again, it's because we do NOT want gays to marry!
Re: latinafantastica – Latina, I'm sorry you feel so angry and unloved. I have a right as a parent to teach my children what I truly believe in to my soul. You can say what you like about prop 8 not getting in schools but Massachusetts said the same when their citizens voted and they allowed same sex marriage. As time passed, more things were allowable and it started with this particular proposition being allowed by the people of that state. We see Kindergarten teachers in CA that are already promoting same sex relationships to teach tolerance. It also teaches that it is OK to live like that and I don't want anyone telling my children that. Again my right as a parent whether you agree or not. But I do teach them not to judge, to be kind to all no matter what you think of their choices, and to be smart enough to know what's best for them. To stand up to the majority if need be, if they feel that passionate about it. Great to be an American.
That is the stupidest thing I ever heard. How dumb to really think that Mormons were really the deciding vote. O wait there was this time in Sunday school that we sat around and tried to figure out how to make your life miserable and Prop 8 was what we came up with. Give me a break!!! California is full of all religions and is a huge state sucks for you that majority of them voted to ban prop 8. You preach so much about the equality of the prop and how to not judge. But because you need to find someone to blame your loss on you post a very hate filled ad on your site, discriminating against us. I, as a mormon, voted no on prop 8, as did many other Mormons I know, I'm sure I was not involved in your count of 301 mormons against the ban but rather due to a lack of education and the need to prove a random hate filled point, I was simply placed in the 13 million, just to make the random pulled out of your ass number look good. Ballots are confidential and in the end it would be very hard to pinpoint were the negative votes are coming from so why jump to conclusions and blame us? What it comes down to is that you are a bitter gay man with a chip on your shoulder and because you did not get your way the poor fat boy has to jump on the ban wagon of blame, and not only bash mormons, but all mormons even the ones that voted in your favor.
Butterfly08 [57] says: "…recently, about 2 months ago. Something happened, someone was sick, was dying. I prayed for the first time in many years. God blessed me, and I saw him perform a miracle in a matter of 2 days.
—————————————————–
How do you know that the same end result would not have occurred without the prayer? Don't forget that churches are a business ~ they are in the business of collecting money "offerings" by preaching fear to vulnerable, God-fearing people, and when you are a business that deals in "cash", there is really no accounting of how much money is actually received. Hey, I can get up on a soapbox and scare the Hell out of you until you give me money too, but honey, giving money to a Preacher is not going to get you into Heaven; but it will buy him a nice cadillac.
—————————————————–
yes it would.. in sex education it will be taught about homosexuality. if a child asks anything to do with homosexuals teachers will say what they please.
teachers say whatever they want esp HS teachers! my old history teacher tried to tell us Jesus was a black man but showed no proof to his theory.
part1-If gay marriage remains legal, public schools will put it on equal footing with traditional marriage. Children will likely receive "age appropriate" information about sexual relations within heterosexual and homosexual marriages. Failure to pass Proposition 8 will hurt churches. The court's decision will inevitably lead to conflicts with religious liberty and free speech rights. Society will become more and more hostile to traditional beliefs about marriage and family. Over time, greater acceptance of nontraditional marriage will be demanded of all people. This could impact the ability of any religion to teach and practice its beliefs. Including adoption agencies. In California, the law provides for marriage-related benefits to be given to civil unions and domestic partnerships. Proposition 8 does not diminish these benefits.
This discussion has been going on on several other sites, and according to several lawyers..
"we CAN'T revoke tax-exempt status of the LDS church at this time. The tax code doesn't include ballot proposition funding. It would be an ex post facto law and a patent violation of the Constitution. Support the re-write the tax code so that in the future, massive fund-raising like the churches did would cause them to lose their tax exempt status. If they want to be a PAC, let them choose between church status or PAC.
Legally, we can't revoke it now. Just an FYI that all arguments on this issue are moot."
Secondly- any of you from California know that one of the scare tactics used in the campaign was that we would try to take away their non-profit status. Lets not prove them right and polarize the opposition even more.
If you really want to do something, contact the groups that are spearheading the fight, Lambda Legal and Equality California.
Please be informed. I have and LOVE my brother whom is gay. I/we are PRO UNION! Just against this law the effects of it and the wording. Be informed this is far more reaching that you can see!
Perez if you are going to post such a one sided article you should really do some research….What about the archbishop of Sacramento coming saying that it was a cooperative effort with many religious groups in CA to get this passed. I understand why you are upset, but you really should present a more well rounded view. It was not just the Mormons, matter of fact it they were a small minority of the religious groups that wanted this to pass.
GAYS HAVE NO RIGHTS AND SHOULD BE SENT TO ALCATRAZ FOR SOME STRAIGHTENING OUT, BUT THE LESI"S CAN COME OVER TO MY PAD FOR SOME REAL STRAIGHTENING OUT!!!! AND FOR THE FEW MORMONS SUPPORTING THESE GAYS ITS ALSO OFF TO THE ISLAND..YAA
NoMoreMrNiceGay [61] says: Stand Up! Fight Back! The victory at the polls by opponents of civil rights for LGBT people will not stand … say “yes” to marriage equality…"
—————————————————–
Oh kay then. If you are going to preach marriage equality ~ then you best be ready to allow 3-way marriages, and sibling marriages, and parent/adult child marriages. Or, did you want a minute to think about that?
——————————————————
You know what Perez. I used to stand up for you and your blog. I am Pro Union. When did your blog turn to a hate site? You of all people should know what its like to be targeted and/or hated. So why would you condone and promote something like this? Just because you didn't get your way? Remember the STATE of California voted not just 1 religion! The STATE made a decision. Just because it wasn't what you wanted you promote hate? It makes me sick.
P.S. Mormons are nothing like Scientologists! We don't believe in Aliens taking our spirits, we don't make you tell your deep dark secrets and then blackmail you with them, we don't make you take a second mortgage out on your house to "help you"! My Dad was in the Scientology CULT a while its scary! Luckily he got the clue whe they kept asking for more and more $money$! NOTHING like or vaguely close to being a MORMON!
Sweetmomma [74] says: Okay 70 percent of black people and more than half the hispanic voters voted yes on 8, are you going to start posting hatred for them too? They are not mormons and yet they voted yes on 8. I don't see you blaming them. You shouldn't target one group, it's just plain ignorant.
—————————————————-
See, now you are really pizzing me off, because you are making me defend Perez, and that does not make me happy. Perez is not targetting one group, it is the media that is exposing this issue, and he is just repeating it. Gawd, now I have to go wash my mouth out with Listerine. Thanks alot…not.
—————————————————-
A few months ago a friend of mine who lives in California told me about the Mormon and Catholic support of Prop 8.
It was kept under wraps for a long time.
What happened to separation of church and state?
It is so sad that we have come such a long way and elected a bi-racial man to be our president and yet these sick bastards are using their financial might to suppress the union of gay couples.
If anyone can give me a very good reason as to how same-sex marriage will affect ANYONE on this earth, please do, as I really do not understand.
People in prison are allowed to get married, yet we do not allow law abiding gay and lesbian couples to get married? I hope this injustice will soon be corrected.
Re: Pig_Nasty – Don't bash Butterfly for her beliefs in God. That's ignorant in itself. You should also think twice about generalizing churches. Not all of them having preachers driving Cadillacs, not all of them preach "fear". You should start practicing what you preach.
And by the way, it's insane to think Mormons killed prop 8. Some folks are always looking for someone to blame.
Re: Rtarara – Okay, that's all just weird to say. And the folks that go door to door, only the males do that. Get your facts straigth before you start babbling, it makes you look retarded.
Re: Sassy Girl – Hey Sassy girl! No offense but I grew up Mormon and women are most certainly allowed to be missionaries and "go door to door". They are called sisters and they do go out.
Re: 77anne –
The Mormon Church was inarguably the largest single financial contributer to passing the H8te Prop.
Therefore, they have quite rightly been identified for this distinction.
The hateful attack on civil rights would have never passed without Mormon $$$$, money that collected tax-free- and legally can only be used for charitable purposes. (NOT buying votes and spreading hate.)
SHAME ON THE MORMON CHURCH! (And who are they to comment on marriage anyway when they have a long history of poligamy)
I agree with the person that say Adam and Eve not Steve!!! God says to be fruitful and multipy. That means man and woman not woman and woman or man and man
Re: _Alice_ – No offense taken, but my brother and his wife are Mormon, and I thought I was informed differently! But, I will call him today and double check that! And just for the record, that persons whole post was retarded, you should read it…..embarassing!
Thank you, and I will double check that and get back with you…..good to see you though!
Re: Sassy Girl – LOL….no worries. And yes some of the posts are just plain ignorant. I'm no longer mormon because I don't agree with the religion anymore. But to spread hate about it is wrong. Mormonism is a very "strange" religion to most. To me too. But I don't think they are evil.
Re: Keeyana –
In what school in california are kindergarten teachers promoting same sex marriages? All my kid learned in kindergarten was the alphabet, to count and their name, phone number and lots of refig art. A kindergartner (5-6yrs old) doesn't even know the meaning of marriage and if a kindergarten teacher thinks for one minute that's in their realm of education to explain it to my child without my permission or me present to disput or agree, then it's time to rethink schools, teachers and education in general. There is nothing wrong with teaching tolerance, but there are many other impowering examples to use without having to discuss sex and marriage between 2 consenting adults with children 5 and 6 years old.. besides, don't boys and girls have cooties at that age? We gotta get over the cooties before we can move on to same sex marriage. I think this whole thing is getting a tad out of control. If people want to protest, it's their right as an American.. I was always taught to fight for what you believe in. Imagine the world if we'd all given up and just sat back and just accepted..oh wait, we did just sit back and accept…. while Hitler was doing his thing to millions and millions of people..
Well, that didn't go very well, now did it? Fight for what you believe in, fight for equality and justice for all. Amen
Re: Billvie Bicks –
Exactly, and the Catholic Church raised a huge amount of money too.
I am not a supporter of organized religion. It has been the root cause of most arguments, conflicts and wars in the world.
George Carlin said it best :
When it comes to bullshit, big-time, major league bullshit, you have to stand in awe of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims, religion. No contest. No contest. Religion. Religion easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told. Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever ’til the end of time!
But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money!
Re: rascal –
OK, so, we're back to saying being gay is a choice and they are not one of G-d children.. here, we go again. So, while you're busy being fruitful and multiply who's taking care of the planet? I think when and if G-d made that comment, it was when there were 2 people on this planet..don't think we need to be so fruitful anymore, do you?? Here's a little lesson for you. WE ALL started as female in the uterus..All fetus's have a vagina, then depending on the chromos and hormones the fetus will develope into a male or female….now, during this process is there a chance that something may have gone just a tad haywire and one of these fetus's didn't get the right amount of something?? Of course not, because no one is born with a birth defect, because everything always go perfect….NOT!! So, if you will.. and for the moment and sake of arguement we'll say that homosexuality is a birth defect. Now, would you discriminate against anyone else with a birth defect, or would you treat them as an equal. If your child were born with a cleft pallet, should we not allow them the same rights or are you going to tell them they can only marry someone else with a cleft pallet?
Re: _Alice_ – Well, I called my sis in law, I must've misunderstood. The males are REQUIRED to complete a mission, while the gals are not, but they are allowed to, and not many do. See, even I can be wrong, and I can admit to it, imagine that! Yeah, it's strange to me too, but I do respect them. Saved my little brothers life many years ago, and I do mean that literally! And my bro and his wife are two of the most compassionate, loving and decent people I know!!
People (be they Morons, Mormans, Christians, or uneducated bigots) that use the bible to spread hate and fear instead of love are the true ass pirates!
God sent Jesus as a symbol of hope-that by loving others above all else is the only way positive change happens.
Get off your high horses! The same bible you use to thump in a "I'm going to heaven and you're NOT" chant was EDITED when it was translated all those years ago…edited for puposeful political content of the times.
Don't be fooled-if you think you're on the fast track to heaven because you're so saintly (as compared to those dirty dirty GLBT people-or anyone different from you for that matter), be forewarned-you are being spoonfed your religion when it should come from a sacred spiritual place inside yourself. You are not doing Jesus' bidding and you're certainly not behaving like he did (you'll remember that jesus hung out with hookers, lepers, and the like and had SERIOUS problems with the religious leaders att he time that used fear to control the masses).
Don't distort his message: Jesus=LOVE…and nothing else!
Oh, snap! So they can have more than one wife and all the kids they want? Riight! They like a good time but others do not have that right! Ok! I get it
now. What a bunch of morons. And they all fled to Utah! Hmm…Think about it.
Hey Leonos Ghost! Love your new pic! I think people have gone crazy not letting this prop. pass! You can be in a bad marriage with a man or a woman!
So what's the prob?
Re: Butterfly08 – wow!!! you know your bible, but dude you are mising the message!!!! Completly! LOL!! Fist of all, the bible is not suposed to be taken litterally its a message of love. As for the passage you just sited, its not about homosexuality, its about giving into all your desires without mesure!!!! for exemple if I like strawberries and I eat a truckload of it I will regret it because I'll get sick!!! Its a message of balance not about homosexuality!!! Do you think gay people have sex with dozens and dozens of other homosexuals. Newsflash NO!!!! No more then heterosexuals. Like most of us heterosexuals, gays have a partner that they live with, they go to work, pay taxes etc. they have a life like us!
As for marriage, in its origine it was a property contract between the father of a girl and her husband so that the girl was now owned by her husband. This way the responsability\ownership of any children born after the marriage fell on the husband and he could do as he pleased with them, just like land or cattle.
as for homosexuality itself, if you look throughout history its present and not everyone was burned at the stake for it. For exemple, in the ancient greek society enjoyable sex was between men in public baths while women stayed home until they're husband came and made babies. Sex with a woman was just for procreation not for fun. For a long time at the french court it was beleived that homosexuality was italian they called it the italian sin. However, race has nothing to do with it. For exemple, Louis XIV's brother Monsieur, was a homosexual, so was Queen Ann of england. Some of Henry VIII freinds where homosexuals none of them where judged or killed!!
Just because you don't know something doesn't make it bad dude!!! as far as I know my mother's marriage with her wife(they have been together for 17 years) has done nothing to destroy or hert my marriage with my husband!! or any other heterosexual marriage!!! you need to get a life man!
Re: TylerDurden –
OK
Would you like it in the King James Version. Here goes!
26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Written by Man, inspired by God.
Both versions tell of a RECOMPENCE for the sins.
Hey, I am standing here saying I am not a sinner. I am, we all are. But, I would never, ever, stand on a street corner and try to mainstream my sins to culture. EVER.
My sins are private, between me and God.
Trying to force your agenda onto public is so vile. This country is going to fall apart when Democracy is destroyed by special interests.
Furthermore, our forefathers are probably turning in their graves during all of this.
I think we should organize a protest against the vote for Obama. I mean, there are many people against it, and our special interests are all that matter.
Wow, so many Narcissists in the world today.
How sad!
Will the mormon scum in here stop lying. The mormon cult raised most of the money for the very anti-gay lies they spread, lit was vile, its a fact and if mormons dont like it,they should have thought about it when they targeted gays in such a vicous way. And yes the mormon hate cult provided the money and volunteers to spread the hate and mis-information about gays, and the black uneducated church and its uneducated hateful community came out in large number to break up gay marriages and demonize gay people. The number one responsible group for the anti-gay hate all around the country and in ca were republicans. 85% of republcians voted against gay marriage and the republican party is the most homophobic hate cult in the country. Gay people stand up to your republican family and friends and break off relationships with republican friends.they are not your real friends. trust me.
Perez,
Fight with your mind not emotions by promoting understanding. I will not take part in this witch burning….I like how at the very end of the article said "this will be presented to the ACLU". You haven't, because you know sounder minds won't agree.
This is how wars between countries start, only seeing the other side as the bad guy. You can see how this can close off receptivity and put people on the defensive. Also, inciting anger on your own side is never good as emotions can spiral out of control real fast.
I urge you to take serious care in what you put out there. True, you have freedom of speech but with freedom comes responsibility.
Re: Butterfly08 –
Where in the KJV does Jesus talk about Gay people? You seem to really know the Bible, but I also thought I did and I can't find any passage that Jesus spoke out about the abomination of homosexuals…do you think his parables did-which ones?
You are being lied to by your religious leaders. They have made you afraid and now you spread hate in the Lord's name…you have missed the point-God sent Jesus to be the example for us, and Jesus only harshly "judged" religious doctrine. Stop the perpetuation of hate and condemnation and instead focus on the message Jesus brought-LOVE!
Re: knowitall – Once again, someone else is screaming about hate, and spreading hate, and at the same time encouraging more of the same. That doesn't make any sense to me. Could you explain it to me please? And could you please share with me how you believe that the Mormons took over the most Liberal state ever and killed gay marriage? Seriously, that just seems nonsensical to me.
Re: GrooveMonkey – He is coming back. And I'm sure he is mad. I love Jesus. I love everyone else. God loves everyone. the Christians are not trying to spread hate they are trying to spread love for God. He is the reason you are here.
Re: Butterfly08 – Um, weren't those who funded Prop 8 support greedy in their wanting marriage rights exclusively to themselves? Weren't they essentially acting as thieves; having our rights granted and then subsequently taken away 4 months later? They were the cheats, not us! That's really what it comes down to: gays and lesbians were cheated and stolen from by greedy fundamentalists who have nothing better to do than ignore one of the most important commandments: LOVE THY NEIGHBOR. It's hypocritical and it's invasive and it's, above all, WRONG. THE END
this is all crap, you need to know the truth, you cant be blaming people, we all voted, and to segregate people, thats just not right wait about ten years then vote on it again, maybe people will change their mind but not now
Re: rascal –
Sorry, your comments would make it appaer that indeed you do NOT love gay people.
Love the sinner hate the sin you say? That's judgmental dogma and not the example Jesus gave us…we must be worshipping different men (which now that i type it, sounds a bit homoerotic…)
Re: GrooveMonkey – First I want to preface what I am about to share with you with this: Jesus was NOT about condemnation. But he never said it was a free for all either. Just like the adultress they threw at his feet. She was to be stoned to death. Jesus was like, hey, let the righteous one here cast the first stone. Well, none of them were righteous, since in the eyes of God, the most righteous among us is as filthy rags to Him. So Jesus told the adultress I don't condemn you. But go, and don't do it anymore it's not OK!! And for the record, there are scriptures in Leviticus and I Corinthians that are explicitly clear about homosexuals. But that is not for us to judge, in my opinion. We all will answer to the Man upstairs one day. So I personally just try to love everybody, and I know that regardless, I am no better in the eyes of God than the murderer on death row. And that's a fact. And whatever stick I use to judge him, that same stick will be used by God to judge me.
Romans 3:10 10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."

Re: Sassy Girl – As it obvious from the Website, the Mormons spent the most $$$, and ran blatantly untrue and misleading commercials to scare straights into supporting Prop H8te.
If you honestly believe the Mormon church is largely responsible for the passing of Prop 8 you are in serious denial. LDS hardly have the nationwide support or enough members in California to affect the vote to such a degree. I am not a supporter of Prop 8 and while it is sad enough that the gay population has lost what should be their innate right and privilege as Americans, it is surmountably worse now that they should turn their disappointment and pain into hatred of other groups. You that are trashing a religion you obvliously know little about as a cult and hatemongers are as bad as the those that treat gays as second rate citizens and accuse Obama of being the anti-christ. There is so much ignorance still in America it makes me wonder how we think we have come so far, we take one step forward electing Obama as president and then several steps back by denying rights to certain classes and then spewing hate at anyone we see fit to blame. The sad truth is there are many people or all faiths that do not believe in the right of gays to marry, many of which make the basis of their arguments what they read in the Bible. But while that may be the case, there is still separation of church and state and no church can "make" anyone vote the way the want them to, no one is denied liberties or affiliations with their religious organization because of the way they vote, at least not in the Mormon church.
I think you will find those that voted for 8 are those that 1) do not know enough about the gay population to really see them as people, 2) those that may find themselves affiliated with someone gay but somewhere deep down still feel that for them to marry is "wrong," probably because of social or religious conditioning, and the third group which I think makes up a very real and substantial group that no one seems to take into a count 3) people that do not want gays to have the right to marry because it would give them legal priveleges and benefits that would put a strain on our economy and affect straight married people negatively. We are capitalists, we are in an economic slump, we are each out to get our own slice of the proverbial pie, and giving rights that were once made to encourage people to marry heterosexually and benefit them financially, if given to every one, would diminish them. Really, it all comes down to money and I think you will find that that in itself is the real reason governmental agencies are trying to stifle gay people, they just can't, or should I say don't want to, support them.
Mormon's are not the only religious group against prop 8 ahem Catholics… Stop trying to put the blame entirely on the LDS. I'm an active member of the Mormon faith and I voted no in Florida as did 30 of my Mormon friends. Get your facts strait instead of being uninformative jerks.
je [56] says: "… I voted for John McCain and Sarah Palin as a HILLARY CLINTON supporter … I worked hard for the HILLARY CLINTON campaign, and then for John McCain…"

LOL ~ How the hill does a person go from supporting Hilary Clinton's politics, to supporting Sarah Palin's politics? That has more bounce than Tigger on a trampoline.
—————————————————–
Turn down the blaring racism ~ It's obviously not Obama's white half that you have a problem with, and since he holds a much closer political agenda to Hilary Clinton's than he does to John McLame's or Sarah Praylin's, your agenda is very transparent.

Some Hilary Clinton supporter ~ you didn't even come away from her campaign knowing how to spell her name correctly. Snort Laugh.

Anyone who doesn't recognize the great and overwhelming success and promise that Obama brings to America, would have to be either really stupid or really racist. In your case, I think it's safe to call you a Stupid Racist. And you cannot accuse me of having a personal agenda, because I am not even American. [I'm guessing that any reply you might post will be to tell me that I have no right to an opinion, because that is the typical and redundant response by Stupid Racists in defending the accusation.]

Great to be an American.
i signed the petition!
I know this one mormon girl and she said she voted yes on 8 because its part of her religion.
Re: MOMMIE DEAREST – MY WHAT BIG TEETH YOU HAVE !!
Re: Keeyana – so what happens if one of your children happens to be gay?
I am not a californian, but this is a tragedy. You have my support!!!

Re: Pig_Nasty – or I have no access to my email from here. we can still be friends then…no fooling around though…
COME ON PEREZ.TIME TO GET OFF YOUR ASS AND PUMP THEM OUT!!!
Re: Keeyana –
what happens if one of your children grows up to be gay?
I don't live in California, but this is a tragedy.
Re: latinafantastica –
yes it would.. in sex education it will be taught about homosexuality. if a child asks anything to do with homosexuals teachers will say what they please.
teachers say whatever they want esp HS teachers! my old history teacher tried to tell us Jesus was a black man but showed no proof to his theory.
part1-If gay marriage remains legal, public schools will put it on equal footing with traditional marriage.
Suck it Mormons! What a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites.
I live in Utah, and am ashamed. Proud NOT to be a Mormon.
Re: Sensitivity – And you should be shot in the face…but that doesn't make it right.
I live in Utah and am ashamed. Proud NOT to be a mormon.
Re: Jessica – ARE YOU THAT JESSICA IN THE HORROR MOVIE OR WAS IT A WHORER MOVIE !!
Re: Billvie Bicks –
Absolutely, could not agree with you more.
Re: WhOrE –
Why? How will it affect you?
People in prison are allowed to get married, yet we do not allow law abiding gay and lesbian couples to get married? I hope this injustice will soon be corrected.
i signed the petition!
Your right. Lets impeach Harry Reid. He's one of those despicable mormons!
The Mormons aren't the only ones that are pulling this shit - the Catholics tried it here in Connecticut! Luckily we voted them down.
Re: schummi – When I see two guys holding hands and kissing makes me PUKE!! What about my rights !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Bowl of Fruit – there was plenty of money on both sides of this issue for a fair fight
Re: Rtarara – Okay, that's all just weird to say. And the folks that go door to door, only the males do that. Get your facts straigth before you start babbling, it makes you look retarded.
I CANT STAND IT WHEN PEOPLE USE THE WORD IGNORANT IN THE CONTEXT. NOW THATS JUST PLAIN IGNORANT!!
Do Mormon woman like being spanked!
Amen
FU*K moron cult!
Sorry, I meant FU*K the Mormon Church!
How about live and let live!
Re: Bleezy – Probably gay teachers and they should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY if that is the case!!
Re: _Alice_ – hi sistamama!……..hehe…….i' think that the women would be expected to do it missionary
Re: Sensitivity –
Yes, they should be..but not for being gay!!
People just need to stop hating!!!
Re: ncstate_lass@hotmail.com –
I agree, Im getting sick of this.
Re: Bleezy – The Doctor thought I had 3 legs when I came out ??
Re: mamajud –
Yes, but the money on the "other side" was not used to promote discrimination, just to promote fairness.
Re: TylerDurden – Wrong and wrong, it does say that, and while it was penned by men, it was inspired by God, so he is the Author.
How sad!
Re: sheba08 – Actually, modern day Mormons don't practice polygamy. And they're not all in Utah. Ugh.
Re: rascal –
Jesus called…said you were an A-Hole!
He's coming back y'all…and boy is he PISSED!
Gay people stand up to your republican family and friends and break off relationships with republican friends.they are not your real friends. trust me.
Re: Butterfly08 – Narcissists in the world today…………..
Perhaps, or maybe there are some who are just desperate for change…
Re: BryansWife – How ironic that at the end of your tirade you say equal rights for all. How about that.
Perez,
Fight with your mind not emotions by promoting understanding.
Re: GrooveMonkey – I hope you're not who I think you might be….surely not, right?
Fighting hate with more hate=more hate. That's it. It's just that simple.
:)
He is the reason you are here.
not this again please

Re: Billvie Bicks – Like I said before, to think that the Mormons killed gay marriage in Ca is nonsense. You need to read h8teyourface's comments…….
Re: JokerBaby – All churches are cults?
Are you kidding, do you have some habit that influences your mind, or what? That is, I do believe, the goofiest post of the day. Congrats.

Eye for an eye….. bitches!!!!
I'm an ex-mormon and I always hated how they brainwashed their followers into voting specific ways and threatening them if they did otherwise! Steve Young better look out! Good for him for standing up for what is right
