Sarah Palin is still trying to stay in the public's eye and she's attacking her own political party!
Palin recently spoke to the Anchorage Daily News and stated that she and John McCain lost because the Republican ticket “represented too much of the status quo.”
She continued by saying that it was President George W. Bush's administration that ruined the the GOP brand, adding that it was "amazing" the McCain camp did as well as they did.
We agree. With Palin as his running mate, we're surprised they kept it as close they did for as long as they did!
Palin says, “I think the Republican ticket represented too much of the status quo, too much of what had gone on in these last eight years, that Americans were kind of shaking their heads like going, wait a minute, how did we run up a $10 trillion debt in a Republican administration? How have there been blunders with war strategy under a Republican administration?”
And the intelligent Palin added, “If we’re talking change, we want to get far away from what it was that the present administration represented, and that is to a great degree what the Republican Party at the time had been representing. So people desiring change, I think, went as far from the administration that is presently seated as they could. It's amazing that we did as well as we did.”
She also adds that she was "frustrated" at all the misinformation the media spread about her and her family.
Palin says, “Some of the goofy things, like who was Trig's mom. Well, I'm Trig's mom, and do you want to see my medical records to prove that? And banning books. That was a ridiculous thing also that could have so easily been corrected just by a reporter taking an extra step and not basing a report on gossip or speculation."
So, on to the important question. Will Palin run for President in 2012?
Palin didn't specifically confirm the news when asked, but she did mention that polls often switch.
Saying, “Look how fickle poll numbers are. Look where I've gone, up and down, up and down, even in the state of Alaska the last couple of months. We can't pay attention to those numbers.”
Let's just hope people aren't stupid enough to elect her as a candidate for 2012.

I dislike her very much but she couldn't be more correct with this statement. Yes, I felt that her and McCain were representing themselves as the continuation of more of the same crap we got from Bush. Considering how discontent Americans are and have been under his leadership, this was unwise campaign strategy IMO. I don't need more of the rich helping the rich get richer. Fuck them.
I did watch the videos, but it made my head hurt. Trying to follow what she is saying is too much like work. She likes to call Obama a smooth talker, give me a smoother talker anytime that is coherent rather than this woman. Run on sentences…dangling participles…no verbs…too many verbs, maybe she should go back to college and learn what a period is for. She talks down to people, that giggle in her voice is the most annoying thing ever.
This lady is more dangerous than George W. Bush ever was she is the type who would destroy the United States of America. I watched the entire interview and still am not very impress with Palin some one is not telling the truth and I am still not sure who even after watching Greta interview. I am suspicious of people who have to tell me how religious they are show me don't tell me.
I love that Palin continues to miss the point that God may have already given her a sign…. that she's NOT qualified to be President, and God used her utter incompetence to help get his preferred candidate, Barack Obama, elected. (I'm not declaring this, merely positing that it is at least an equally likely scenario to that suggested by Palin, herself.)
Palin is CORRECT. Hillary screamed GWB and look how many votes she got. Biden and Obama screamed GWB and he won. I would like a good independent party. I am sick of both.
I hope people like Perez and many of the uninformed, non-thinkers here watch her two part interview on Greta VanSusteren's show on Fox that airs tonight and tomorrow night. Also Palin is scheduled to be on Larry King on Wed night too. Maybe people should watch and hear her own words instead of taking the liberal media's word as fact.

In that interview with Greta Her chin was jut out and she was talking through barely perceptible moving lips like she's saying, "I DARE you to call me a liar." I loved the way she constantly talked about distortions of her record, and how unfairly she's been treated, when she spent her entire campaign distorting Obama's past and slamming him with innuendo that portrayed him as something he was not. I don't reckon she believes in karma, though. But the notion that "you reap what you sow" is present in Christian theology (though I imagine her own church is so busy with witch hunts, race-baiting, and homosexual persecution that they don't get around to reading that particular part too often).

Plain's main crime is that she is 1) horrifyingly boring and 2) amazingly inarticulate.

One of the Happiest MOMENTS I've ever had was the moment that OBAMA was called as president-elect. I had worked so hard for this one, and he truly is the people's president. I also was ecstatic to think that I no longer had to see the insult to women that is Gov. Palin. To think that because she was a woman, women would just switch their vote from Sen. Clinton (who has served her country for 32 years)is beyond the pale. Up until McCain's choice i had always respected and liked him. This will go down as the biggest political blunder of all time. I BEG Perez-Hilton, NBC,MSBC,CNN and FOX to stop covering her, stop giving her her 15 minutes. HER TIME IS UP!!! As much as I am not a fan of MCcain and am insulted by how little he cared about the US and did not do due diligence and a proper vetting process on a potential vp/president, it is nuts how irrelevant he has become. Once you're in the public eye, there will be rumors so she needs to deal with it. Sarah lost, to tough shit if you voted for her. She belongs in Alaska, and this is coming from someone who knows folks that worked with her. I know people in the McCain party and the talk that goes on behind the scenes could make me a lot of money with the press. I'm not talking, but trust me, you don't want this broad as your president.
I agree that she doesn't necessarily have the particular smarts that would make her a good president. What she does have is a charisma and style that lots of people are attracted to, just not the wack-job liberals who attack anything right wing. She was in over her head here, yes, but I have a feeling she might try to skip right over the White House to become this "White Oprah" that everyone keeps talking about. At which point, let's be honest, she would be laughing (and winking) her way to the bank. Book deals…syndicated tv shows…they pay way better than a VP salary! People like Booberella, just like those on the McCain team who leaked these attacks, need to come forward and come clean as to why Palin is not qualified to be President. It is appalling that the McCain staffers, and those people like Booberella who apparently know something about Palin that would put her qualifications in question, would insinuate her stupidity but won't go on record. I too know the McCain people, I have worked closely with them, and I never heard ANYTHING that would suggest that Palin was stupid. If people are going to say those kinds of things about a person who was duly elected as a governor and then selected over many highly qualified people to be McCain's VP, then they need to stop being a coward and give us some specifics on the record.
You know what? The election is over! I admit, I didn't vote for obama but just because I don't like him doesn't mean I won't support him. He is going to be our new president and I think conservatives like me should all realize that we need to support him no matter how much we don't like him. As for the Palin comments, what people don't realize is that she is a very smart person. She was portrayed on SNL and many news outlets as dumb but she really isn't.
