Everyone has Barack Obama fever these days!
Turns out Obama is the hottest name in the publishing world right now.
Just a weekend after winning the election, two books written by Obama have already sold millions and made it to the top of the lists.
Barack's The Audacity of Hope and Dreams from My Father have jumped to the number one and two spots respectively on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com.
And, just yesterday, The Audacity of Hope went out of stock on Amazon. Both the hardcover and paperback editions.
Even Sen. John McCain's home state of Arizona is seeing a rise in the number of Barack's book sales.
Demand has also risen for Change We Can Believe In, which is a collection of Obama's speeches and policy proposals.
And several books on Barack and his life are also selling well.
Seems people are interested in learning more about the soon to be President! Really really interested.

I think you said it right Perez. Except the part about everyone having the fever. The people affected by the fever are obviously delirious from the fever. They are acting irrationally when they get so worked up about someone with no past, history, or some reason for exceptionality. They want a national Obama holiday now. No living person has ever had a holiday named after them. Does someone know something that I don’t know. Is ‘Bama not long for this world? Presidents Day isn’t good enough for ol ‘Bama. I have never had Obama fever. I think he's a fraud and a good man (McCain) lost the white house thanks to the media and all the people who let Obama blows smoke up their ass. He isn't going to keep those promises, but at least the media is on his side, they'll make it all seem rosy.

I had to share this.
A friend of a friend wrote this:
Tuesday, on my way to lunch at Doe's, I passed one of the homeless
guys in that area, with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money.
Once inside my waiter had on an "Obama '08" tee shirt.
When the bill came, I decided not to tip the waiter and explained to him
while he had given me exceptional service, that his tee shirt made me
feel he obviously believes in Senator Obama's plan to redistribute the
wealth.
I told him I was going to redistribute his tip to someone that I deemed
more in need–the homeless guy outside.
He stood there in disbelief and
angrily stormed away.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $3, and told him to thank the
waiter inside…as I had decided he could use the money more.
The homeless guy looked at me in disbelief, but seemed grateful.
As I got in my truck, I realized this rather unscientific redistribution
experiment had left the homeless guy quite happy for the money he did
not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did
earn.
Well, I guess this redistribution of wealth is going to take a while to
catch on….especially with those actually doing the work
You won't catch me within 100 miles of DC the weekend of the inauguration. My kids' school is taking a bunch of kids for the inauguration, and even though history is being made, early intel reports indicate that the inaugural is going to be a free for all.
Obama has done the unbelieveable, its great, its fresh and i love it.
I really wish you would stop posting about political crap. Every time I come on here and see you kissing Obama's rear end or trash talking Sarah Palin, I am that much closer to not coming back.

Hmmm….after reading some of the reviews on his books, detailing the new president's background and personal ideals which were contained in the books, I'm now considerably less confident in his future leadership. I hadn't realized he identified with radical ideas against "whites". Now I wonder if he may stir up racial tensions that I had believed were settled in this country and cause more problems rather than being the one to fix existing problems, as everyone no doubt was hoping when they elected him.
