Look republican white trash and uneducated minorites ,we know that the vote for prop h8te wasnt because of the mormon cult,but the funding to air mean spirited lies was all paid for by the mormon cult of freaks,and thats the point being made,and for the people who think this is over,you have to be kidding.
Ah, so the witch hunt is on. Mormons are the target. Why only Mormons when they represent such a small minority of the people who voted yes? If all Jewish people had voted yes, would you go after them? What about black people? There is an obvious double standard here and I can't believe you're not seeing it. The tolerance door only swings one way for you, doesn't it?
The most appalling thing is your blatant disregard for democracy. What part of "the majority voted" do you not understand?
Mormons are entitled to their opinions just like you are. You should not demonize them for it, just like they don't demonize you for your beliefs. Respect and tolerance go both ways, my dear.
I agree with the Mormon church when they say "No one on either side of the question should be vilified, harassed or subject to erroneous information."
How would you feel if a gay hater released a list of all establishments owned by gays and asked people to boycott them? Ridiculous and scandalous, right? I think I've made my point.

I won't be eating at El Coyote anymore…Thank you for the information. I often boycott companies, films, music, groups etc. for to make a stand, a statement that what was done was wrong, ( at least to me ) people have been boycotting for ages…I keep hearing this rant over and over about how the gays are bitching because they didn't get their way, that they are spreading hate now, that the ruckus they are creating is making it worse that they will turn more people off…etc…( you get the drift) I really want to remind everyone with comments like that, that the Gay community and gays as individuals have been endlessly harassed, teased, shamed, tortured and murdered oh, and YES, discriminated against….They have every right to Bitch, complain, point fingers and boycott, demonstrate, scream, kick and make whatever scene they want….They were robbed!! Plan and simple…Robbed! I personally would love to know all companies the Mormons are part of, and boycott each one on principal alone.
Re: Fantasia – approx. 10,000,000 people in the state of California voted November 4th….Prop 8 was passed the following day because it was too close to call and when they did call it, it passed by approx. 400,000 votes.

…and furthermore, whilst 52% of voters representing Califonia are in support of it — 48% of Califonians representing the State are against it! A decade ago 'YES' on Proposition 8 would have won by a landslide. Evolution is unstoppable. The world is awakening

i wasn't in support of 8, but i don't think this boycott is a good idea. one of the co-owners donated to the yes on 8 campaign. yeah, that sucks, but what about the other co-owners who did not? what about the people working in the restaurant who are just trying to make a living? this is going to hurt them and they don't have anything to do with it. it's good to protest this idiocy, but be careful who you hurt in the process.
This is more like Nazi times during the 2nd worl war. German people did not go into any Juish restaurants and shops. Please Perez relax a bit.
For all those who think the Mormon church is full of haters, I would like to quote a recent statement they made on this issue: "The Church’s opposition to same-sex marriage neither constitutes nor condones any kind of hostility toward gays and lesbians. Even more, the Church does not object to rights for same-sex couples regarding hospitalization and medical care, fair housing and employment rights, or probate rights, so long as these do not infringe on the integrity of the traditional family or the constitutional rights of churches."
I didn't see any hate in this statement. It even sounds to me like they are willing to give gays civil unions and all the rights that come with marriage, they just don't want to call it marriage. So is that why they are now being harassed? Since when is it okay to harass people for the way they voted anyway?

Fight is not over, you can't stop evolution and I am joining this fight cause me and my whole family is protesting this next Saturday and the number of times needed so things get restored back to the way they were.

Christoffersen, also Mormon, met with protesters Wednesday, and at one point broke down in tears. But some activists said they still faulted her for making the donation.
