Re: harrybalsac – 1st? sweet. lets fuck!!
Barack hates gays
Re: FAGS SHOULD BE SMOKED! – Hey, what about me? Can I play too?
Re: BadHorse – beat some sense into your fellow gays
Yeah, maybe I would care if you stopped hating on women and young girls, calling them sluts and whores. But since you continue your HATRED of the fairer sex, then you can get f*cked Perez. I hope you never get to marry and are always treated as a second class citizen. F@G.
Re: _Alice_ – you sure can!!!
Hey I've got a great idea! Lets have a big protest parade!! We can dress in drag, wear leather chaps with the ass cut out, chain our balls together, make out in the streets, give blow jobs to each other in public, have big ballon dildo's floating down the street. It will be really fun, we'll shock everyone into loving us. We'll win over the hearts and minds of all Americans!!
I am so sick of you promoting hate. Especially in a state that didn't even vote. Wake up!
Re: _Alice_ – Re: FAGS SHOULD BE SMOKED! – BINGO BABY!
This is just awesome!

You dumb fags are going to dig your own graves. Keep protesting churches and inturupting peoples lives. Ignore the MANDATE from the people.

Another fag screaming night with a bunch of liberals. Wait I'm sure Obanna will be dumping $Billions$ into the unatural world.
Re: _Alice_ –
Alice, hi want to go with me to New York? I'm going to be there. I'm starting to stalk Batman and I hear that he hides in N.Y.C.
Where is the fukard lettybitch?
Please don't hold anything against mormons. Well, not ALL of them. I am mormon and I am 100% against this RIDICULOUS law. As much as I understand your reasoning behind protesting in front of the Manhatten Temple, I don't think it will do anything but give the Mormons MORE reason to be judgemental. But, do what has to be done!
NO THANKS FUCKER!
YESSS on 8. Cool my state has no events AWESOME!! That's why I love this state.
Why the fuck would you protest a church in NY when the vote was in CA? You shouldn't even promote this. You talk about hate and tolerance. What the fuck do you think you are doing by protesting at a church? IGNORANT! The people of CA spoke, you lost, deal with it, move on and try again in 4 years. I have to accept Obama, you have to accept PROP 8!
all gays are going to hellllll!!!!
burrrrrrrrrrrrrn fagggggggggggggssssssss!!!
WHAT IN THE FUCK ARE YOU GAY FOOLS THINKING! You say all this crap, "Not to h8e"…."freedom and equality for all"….I call bullshit on your stupid asses!! For some reason you think your freedom is more important than other peoples freedom? Freedom of religion, freedom to vote in the way you feel is right….regardless of media propaganda, and what "celebs" are saying! The gay people that are so adamently opposing everyone's democratic voice is sick and only drving the wedge of acceptance and equality deeper. The proposition does not make you any less of an American…..it is not taking away any rights you already had….it is not making your life any less safe or luxurious, Pigez! Nothing in our constitution is permanent, NOTHING, there is always room for change and/or modification…..the course of our history has demonstrated this time and time again. Now is not the time, and I don't mean that it will ever be a right time for gay marriage to be accepted in our nation. What I am saying is the constant, present barrage of opposition to something that just isn't going to happen right now is hurting your cause. It is only reinforcing the threat, the uncomfortable and morally unacceptable threat it prode3uced to the American family structure. You don't understand, that is fine…..that doesn't change the fact….it hasn't changed the fact, after two tries, it is not going to happen.
OK, THAT'S ENOUGH!!! YOU ARE SO STUPID!!! HOW IS THIS GONNA WORK?! AND WHY?! MORMONS AREN'T THE ONLY ONES WHO VOTED! THE MEDIA ISIN'T EXACTLY FRIENDLY TOWARDS THE CHURCH, AND SO JUST BECAUSE THEY MENTIONED THE CHURCH AND THE MEMBERS VOTING AGAINST IT, NOW YOU HAVE THE "GROUP" OF PEOPLE WHO HELD PROP 8 BACK?!! PLEASE, IM HISPANIC, AND I SUPPORT HISPANICS WHO ARE SUCCESSFUL IN AMERICA, BUT YOU ARE SHOWING IGNORANCE HERE. DON'T BE WHAT AMERICAN'S THINK WE ARE, IGNORANT HISPANICS! PROOF THEM WRONG! EDUCATE YOURSELF AND DO BE A HYPOCRATE, IF YOU DON'T WANT HA8TE, DON'T PROMOTE IT!
u deleted my post perez????
fuck you fat fucker!!!
This is NOT a religious issue. This is a legal issue. This country was founded on the ideals of religious freedom, which should protect US citizens from religious oppression….and that includes passing laws that are rooted in religion. It's called separation of church and state. Accept it. MOVE ON. Worry about your own damned marriage, because there's a 50-50 chance it's going to fail and it's nobody's fault but your own. Not only that but by gay marriage not being federally recognized(even IF the state recognizes the union), we lose out on over 1000 federal rights and protections from couples tax adjustments to receiving the pensions and social security of our partners.
I know it may offend many for me to rally at churches but you know what…I am fighting for my rights. This should not be a me versus religion argument, but when the Mormon churches fund misleading propaganda about how legalizing gay marriage will REQUIRE churches to marry gays(they are SPECIFICALLY protected against this in the California constitution) then I must make a stand. I am not fighting to simply get my way, I am fighting to be equally recognized under the law.
jesus christ. if women didn't protest, they'd never have gotten the right to vote. do you know how many people told them to stop? that they were wasting their time? to move on? keep their mouths shut? yeah. it's amazing how history repeats itself. i had so much hope for the younger generation, but you're all just as dumb.
1) Why the HELL do you care if gay people are allowed to be legally married?? Does their marriage suddenly make your marriage less special? Are you suddenly questioning the validity of your union because some gay people are happy and in love instead of faking their way through a "heterosexual" marriage?
2) Don't even start with the "sanctity of marriage" bullshit and how God, in the Bible, defines marriage as being between a man and a woman. There are MANY people in this country, gay and straight, who don't believe in God….or believe in a different God. Are their marriages less valid than yours because they don't share your beliefs, or are they simply acceptable by default if they're straight? Have you even considered this concept, or are you too busy hating on gays because you think it's icky?
3) And to close, it was a simple majority that passed Prop 8. A VERY simple majority. Do you really think it is ok to strip away the rights of a group of people when SLIGHTLY more than half of the people voted for this? The founding principles of the constitution are to safeguard people from the tyranny of the majority.

Re: Seriously – you have no idea what you're saying. we didn't try twice. we had it. and now it's being taken away. that's 20,000 marriages that are now up in the air. do you get how unfair that is? also, how is it democracy when straight people get to vote on OUR marriage? i didn't get to vote on yours. "gay fools"? try stupid ignorant breeding machines. you're like a bunch of animals. how do you like it?
Too bad I don't live in the North anymore, coz I would go.
I even heard some militant groups are threatening to BURN DOWN churches!! Being mean, nasty, spiteful, and violent will NOT help your cause; it will instead turn people off.Perez's constant re-hashing this issue is equally turning off a lot of his readers, and there are *other* sites hosted by gays that DON'T keep on harping on this issue or use their sites as political platforms. They merely mentioned the outcome of Prop8 but that was the end of it.
Hater… Stop denying that the democratic process was fair. It was. 52% of people voted for YES. Stop wasting your time and turning this country into a gaymocracy….
Just to let you guys know your not in any way fighting for your rights. you are discriminating against a religous group that voted based on their morals. I am LDS and if I lived in cali i would have voted against prop 8. I believe that you love who you love and you should be able to marry who you wish. But I do have a problem with people preaching equality and then turning right around and discriminating against the people who don't share the same views. And it is disgusting to think that you would disrespect a temple of somebodys god. God didnt take away your rights. And if you believe that god loves you exactly as you are why would you do such a hateful thing to his temple?
HAHAHAHAHAHA
YES ON 8!!! !!!! !!!! PROTEST ALL U WANT! WE HAVE VOTED AND SPOKEN! YES on 8!!!
I still don't understand why Mormons are the only target of the gay establishment's hatred. Yes, hatred, since tolerance apparently only applies to accepting gays, but not allowing other people to have their own opinions and vote the way they choose. Didn't exit polls clearly show that blacks and hispanics voted overwhelmingly in favor of Propostiion 8? Why aren't you demonstrating in front of Diego's taco shop, then? I find it interesting that the very people who call others bigotted are exhibiting the worst kind of bigotted behavior and hate. Let people believe what they believe and find other ways to get accepted–you certainly won't this way.
And in case you all have forgotten. . . .mormons weren't the only christians who voted against this but we seem to be the ones who you want to point the finger at. GO AHEAD perez!!! keep the cycle of hate going!!
Hope the turnout is anormous and the protest is peaceful and HELPFUL!!! Although people with small closed minds don't really care how many people want something because they think they are RIGHT~Good luck, stay SAFE!
Re: JoDanGiRl – Mormons are keeping the cycle going as well as other close minded groups and individials trying to keep others down for what "THEY" don't believe in, I don't believe in Mormons but would NEVER say they couldn't be Mormon and I would never spend zillions of dollars to keep others down like churches do, they should do "good deeds" instead of minding others business with the monies.
Do you realize that you will make all Christians mad if you protest at a church? Catholics, Presbys, Methodists, etc. will all stand up with the Mormons. And BTW, do you Angelenos realize that it's WINTER here? It's too darned cold to go protest.
Extremely disrespectful. To go and stand outside a sacred temple and start protesting. New York City…and a Mormon Temple??? Doesn't make sense.
We are targeting the churches because the churches raised the money and got involved in a political process. They are pushing THEIR religious beliefs on other people, and where a huge part of the gays have their rights stripped away. The advertising for prop 8 was so misleading. They made claims that ig gays were allowed to marry, that churches would be FORCED to marry the gays…this is false. The California constitution specifically protects churches from having to hold any service that conflicts with their beliefs. But this should not be a Christian issue. You think we will just accept not having the rights of heterosexuals because of simple majority that only passed by 500,000 votes?! Even if the difference had been greater, these are our rights. We want both the state and federal protections and benefits of marriage. These should be basic incentives for people to have loving, financial, and social stability in their lives and I will not let YOUR religion get in the way of MY rights.
O man I wish i could be there!
Re: nothanks – I agree! Interesting to note as well how the gay-rights crusaders compare their cause to the civil rights movement(despite the fact that the majority of blacks supported Prop8) and comparing being gay to being black is absurd, and the last time I checked being gay isn't a racial issue. They try and say it's a civil-rights issue when it's merely nothing more than political manipulation; a small but vocal minority special-interest group trying to force acceptance and recognition of their lifestyle on the majority who don't want it,and they accuse those who don't agree with their cause as being "haters" merely because they just don't support it, generally on moral grounds….and then they turn around and become haters themselves attacking people that disagree with them! Not too savvy,I'd say…and not exactly a convincing way to endear people to their cause.
Re: ickymuffin –
ickymuffin, OF COURSE churches and people try to impose their morals on others. Who fucking cares?? It's not about that, it's about the government not doing anything about this clearly LEGAL matter and letting the wills of churches have their way with our system.
Fuck, educate yourselves. All of you. This is ridiculous.
I don't give a shit how you worship. I assume all religions hate me for being born the way their God made me. Don't care. What I care about is our government allowing this to trample my legal right to enter into a contract with the person whomever I want. That's all marriage is, folks. A contract. Take your religious connotations and do whatever you want with them. The actual act of getting married is nothing more than a piece of paper that gives people RIGHTS.
MARCH ON YOUR GOVERNMENT'S STEPS, NOT THEIR CHURCH'S.
Perez, why aren't you blogging about the violence that is breaking out in these rallies? The LGBT’s love their freedom. They hate everyone elses and will do anything to shut down the dialog. They know they don’t have the backing of the majority so they resort to violence intimidation and demand superior rights to push their agenda. Prop 8 passed, the LGBT’s lost. Grow up or get out. LGBT “rights” do not trump everyone elses.
Re: Kiki~D~2 – The Mormon church does "good deeds" all the time! Aoccrding to statistics posted on the church's web site (www.lds.org)the church has given over $1 billion in humanitarian aid to people in 165 countries since 1985. In fact, Mormons and the Mormon church are often the first ones to help when a catastrophe happens somewhere. They have case loads of food, clothes, medical supplies and hygiene kits ready to be sent wherever those supplies are needed at a moment's notice.
Re: EJo – True. I read a recent report that the militant activists are even spray-painting churches(and threaten to burn them down next!), carrying swastikas, scratching cars with keys, and the like, violently protesting ad rioting, but their hatred and intimidation will only harm their plight and damage themselves and will set their movement back YEARS.This destructive lashing-out will only convince people that the voters did indeed make the right choice in NOT caving-in to their demands. Violence only makes people turn against you; it doesn't help awareness in a positive or productive way.Any group who is so defensive and hostile doesn't deserve recognition or sympathy and are little better than urban terrorists who inflict dastardly deeds on the public to get attention.By continuing in such an uncivil way they are burying themselves.
Re: JoDanGiRl – Agree, and in fact, I think this violent mayhem will not only harm their cause, and convince voters of Prop8 they made the right decision in not supporting such militant people,…but it will also likely cause their former supporters to turn on them, too. They'll LOSE, not gain, support with their aggressive rioting and intimidation. It will result in the opposite effect: cause people to turn their backs on them instead of the intended purpose of "winning" their support, incl. those who may have previously supported them before.
Geeez, what a bunch of pathetic loser whiners.
Re: Kiki~D~2 – the LDS church is constanly spending their time and money trying to bring a better life to those in need. They do ALOT of good in this world and not just for the people that share their beliefs but everybody. I agree that you should have all the rights of a "first class citizen" but not if you are treating other as "second class citizens" and hating them for what they believe. I don't see gay people gathering around and protesting african americans and latinos but they were a majority of the yes on 8 vote. It would be so against civil rights to do that but its ok to attack the LDS religion for their part in it. I have no problem with gay people protesting for the things they want. I do however have a deep disgust with people disrespecting the temple of somebodys god. Like I said. God didnt take away your rights so why disrespect him and his temples??
This isn't a religious issue. There's a separation of church and state. Marriage is not a religious institution. Atheists and people of all faiths can get married. This is a basic civil rights issue. A lot of the logic some use as to why this shouldn't be possible is because of religious ideology, hence protests at some churches. However, I know plenty of religious people who support gays and equal rights, plenty of religious gays, and plenty of churches that openly accept gays. So, a lot of people take messages of hope and unity from the Bible, not hate and division. However, religious people holding up 'God Hates *ags' signs certainly don't help, nor does the constant comments about gay marriage being against God's will, when God and Jesus never said anything about homosexuals or gay marriage. Jesus preached loving your neighbors and doing onto them as they would do unto you. The Bible also says it's ok to sell your daughters, but I don't see anyone doing that. It's time we stop pitting Blacks against Whites, Christians against Mormons, Gays against Straights, and everything in between. Everyone deserves equal rights. Even serial killers have a right to marriage. This makes no sense. In America, equal rights shouldn't even be voted on. Women marched for the right to vote, Blacks marched for equality, and gays will march for theirs. And like th previous, they will get it. Soon.
Shut the fuck up u whinny ass fags. You annoy the shit out of people with your incessant bitching. You do not have the right to marry. And above all else you have no right to compare yourself to black people or anybody else of color. You have not been enslaved you have not been oppressed and you have no clue about religion. The jews have been targeted for hundreds of years and it's only a matter of time before you try to outlaw religion just because you choose to take it in the ass. SHUT UP!
did you know that ONLY 2% of the voters in california are Mormon, 2%, so why blame this church? because the people of the church donated time and money? 2% of the population cannot pursuae the other percentage of people who voted! 70% of African americans voted YES on prop 8. why dont you protest that? c'mon NO on 8 advocates, think about what you should be doing to get to GOVERNMENT to get something arranged, like have the civil rights that all should have as a married couple EQUAL to a Domestic partnership. same exact benifits, DIFFERENT NAME! i dont understand how you can attack a church because we were democratic and voted for what we belief is instituted of God, its plane so hypocritical! but do what you want..
I am not going to protest the Mormon Church. They have the right to believe in whatever they hold sacred. Even if it is wrong. And that protest better not be loud, that church is around the black from me. Seriously.
hey Perez , why don't you apply the doctrine of Equality for all ? You routinely ridicule people who you don't admire. You are a hyppocrite, and a fraud, the last person on the planet to argue for rights and liberties when you deny them to so many.
Bring ass lube
Re: Equal H8ter – Re: Equal H8ter –
WHERE did your parents go wrong? Everyone has the right to marry, what year are you living in?
Gosh people are so very ignorant
Re: mayradlovesu – They are bullies-they pick on what they think are the "weak" . Right now Christians of all denominations are the most oppressed. They get more shit for being Christians than any other group of people. They are ridiculed in the media, shredded by left wing propaganda on a constant basis and so they are the easiest target for LGBT or ACLU or any other bully organization. LGBT won't go after the black population over this becaus they know they'll get their asses crushed. Black people are too strong as a group and have more support than the gay lesbian communities. A fight with blacks they will lose and they know that so they are prostesting churches because they know they can push them around.
*GODS BOOK,GODS RULES*
find another name for yr civil union.
Ok ignorant! Here are the facts-
-Mormons make up less than 2% of the population of California. There are approximately 800,000 LDS out of a total population of approximately 34 million.
-Mormon voters were less than 5% of the yes vote. If one estimates that 250,000 LDS are registered voters (the rest being children), then LDS voters made up 4.6% of the Yes vote and 2.4% of the total Proposition 8 vote.
-African Americans overwhelmingly supported Yes on 8. Exit polls show that 70% of Black voters chose Yes on 8. This was interesting because the majority of these voters voted for President-elect Obama. No on 8 supporters had assumed that Obama voters would vote No on 8.
-The majority of Latino voters voted Yes on 8. Exit polls show that the majority of Latinos supported Yes on 8 and cited religious beliefs (assumed to be primarily Catholic).
Stop being stupid!
…and don't forget to bring your clubs, your bats, your tire-irons,your crowbars, your torches, your sledgehammers, your KKK hood, burning crosses and other manner of violence and unrest! You hate-mongering fags!
Stop Perez, stop. It's not going to do anything. The mormons didn't sway the entire state of California to vote Yes on Prop 8. I don't get how people keep giving you facts on how African Americans and Latinos were a big part of the vote, but you just ignore it. Probably because that would be discrimination huh? Oh wait bashing mormons is discrimination TOO.
Re: Bumbo Klaat – Ha ha ha. I like you.
