Even though the movie isn’t even in theaters yet, the soundtrack for Twilight has just snatched the #1 spot on the Billboard charts from AC/DC.
It sold 165,000 copies this past week!
29%, or 48,000, were digital downloads.
Twilight scored the second biggest digital week for a soundtrack since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking album download sales in 2004.
The ‘biggest’ digital week honor belongs to High School Musical 2. In August ’07, HSM2 sold 62,000 downloads in a week.
The Twilight film is going to be HUGE!!
