According to a new report, the New England city of Burlington, Vermont, has the healthiest people in the U.S.!
92 percent of city residents surveyed said they are in good or great health.
And, it’s also among the best in exercise and among the lowest in obesity, diabetes and other measures of ill health, according to a recent report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Burlington is a fairly young, educated and well off community, so that could explain why people live a higher quality of life!
The average age of residents is 37-years old, 40% of them have college degrees and only 8% of the population is at the Federal poverty line.
Congrats, Burlington!
You’ve done Ben & Jerry proud.
