As a mom of two teenage daughters, I am shocked at the words used to describe Miley by you and your readers. Regardless of her fame, she is still a child. The fact that she is "dating" a 20 year old is another story all together, but that is for her parents to keep an eye on - not the rest of the world.
I had my 14 year old point out a picture of a classmate in her Halloween costume and called her slutty. I got after her for using that word (especially to a teenage girl). These girls have enough going on in this world that they do NOT need adults treating them this way and calling them these name.

Sure, she's a kid, but part of growing up and being that age is learning social grace and when it's appropriate to shriek and flail like an eight year-old.
