John Mayer and Cameron Diaz are dating!

She likes musicians. He likes blondes. Seems like a perfect match.

Though he was spotted lunching with longtime friend Mandy Moore on Tuesday, Jessica Simpson‘s ex is actually dating Justin Timberlake‘s ex, Us Weekly is reporting.

Mayer and Diaz went on a romantic date on Tuesday night in New York.

“They went out to several places…It was the two of them, getting to know each other, out on the town,” says Us.

According to the mag, Cammie and John have known each other for awhile.

“This was technically not their first time hanging out…they’ve hung out together with friends before. But this was the first time together like this. It’s new and developing…but they really like each other and it went well,” a source tells Us.

Reps for the couple would not comment.

But Jessica Simpson’s camp will likely start shit talking very soon.
