  6. 6

I heard the books weren't that great. So why see the movie?

  7. 7

    Not so great….

  8. 8

I went and yelled " FUCK THAT'S GAY! " every 2 mins. til they threw me out!

  9. 9

THIS MOVIE IS GAYER THAN PEREZ IN THAT HOMOSEXUAL MOVIE THAT HE WAS IN!!!!

  10. 10

FUCK NO I GOT DRUNK INSTEAD!!! LESS GAY!

  11. 11

I'm seeing it in like…90 minutes. I'm stoked haha, I'm catching an early showing in a small theater at a mall so I don't have to deal with the overly excited & hormonal 13 year olds practically orgasming every time they see Edward. So even if some of those brats skipped school to see the movie, at least there won't be too many of them cause the theater sits I think 30 people lol. Ugh, I hate kids lol.

  12. 12

Overhyped stupid movie. Seen better films that this crap!

  13. 13

Ummm, no. I was busy with self love, thinking of Major Dude.

  14. 14

I read the first few pages at the bookstore, and IT WAS GAY AS HELL! THIS SHIT IS MEANT FOR 13 YEAR OLD GIRLS WITH ACNE, NOT ADULTS!

  15. 15

  16. 16

    I wanna see Harry Potter!

  17. 17

  18. 18

FUCK YOU AND YOUR DROP DOWN ADS, YOU HOMO!

  19. 19

ok so i didnt read the books…should i go see the movie? will it make sense? cuz i'mhearing that people who haven't read the books wont enjoy the movie??
    Thoughts anyone?

  20. 20

OMFG IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!
    i loooooved it
and i didnt even read the book!

  21. 21

  22. 22

I LOVED IT!!!! Rob Pattinson is the PERFECT Edward… Unbelievable movie! They changed a few things from the book, but nothing that detracts from the story… I can't wait to see it again!

  23. 23

the storyline is told much better in the book. butttt the movie is fully equipped with hot men all over the place so its still AMAZING!!!!!

  24. 24

people are so weird and obsessive about crap like this, it's hilarious.

  25. 25

loved the books, but it looks shitty

  26. 26

OMG, everyone who gets to, and watched it!!
i hate you, this is an awesome book, and i live on the farthest edge of the earth, and would do almost anything to see it!!!
    lucky buggers!!!!!!
    tell me you love it!

  27. 27

Re: _Alice_ – smack morning bitch

  28. 28

I liked it… It's an adaption of the book.. and well they changed a lot of stuff but when has an adaption been good or great as the book? never! so I'm happy with it and I want to see it again! :D

  29. 29

sorry, couldn't, too busy with the "rinse" on Alice's hair…
    signed
believe the Alice conditioning story line has run its route…

note to self: change name to something more timely…

  30. 30

Re: sparklez – I think you should. I watched it with a friend of mine who's in the same situation you're in and she loved it. Hope that helps!

  31. 31

Never heard of this book until you started bombarding your site with Twilight crap Perez. Wasn't interested then……sure as hell not interested now. Piece of shit teen crap.

    Lost Boys > Twilight

  32. 32

The only people that will think this movie is good are tweens, and the very stupid.

  33. mday says – reply to this

    33

was really good. wasn't oscar worthy, but was really pretty. i liked it. i like the books too, so maybe i'm a tiny bit bias

  34. 34

    Re: BBD hates everyone!
    fantastic.

  35. 35

it had its cute moments, but some were cheesy. just like some of the cheesy moments in the book. you could def tell they werent working with a lot of money

  36. 36

Re: _Alice_ – I'm wearin'ur ass as a hat! Ur right it looks great, tastes good too!

  37. 37

    true blood is waaaayyyy better

  38. 38

    hell no.

  39. 39

    yeahh…sooo disappointing.

  40. 40

I can't wait, it doesn't come out here for almost a month so for now I'll just have to get by on hearing the (baaaad) reviews

  41. 41

I read the books… and loved them. I personally think the movie was a HUGE disappointment. Im sure if I was 13 and got all giggly like the tweens at the theater at midnight last night everytime edward came on screen I would have loved it…. but no. It was horrible. Poor character set up, awkward acting… REALLY disappointed.

  42. 42

I'm going Sunday to see it and it better be fucking good. I love Vampires, so how can I not like it? I'll love it. Maybe I'll bite someone while I'm there. Hey biches.

  43. 43

Perez, it was FANTASTIC. But I have a caveat for you - I don't think you'll like the movie unless you've read the book. I think if I hadn't read the book beforehand, I would have been confused by a lot of things.

And for those who say it's only for teenage girls……There were plenty of adults at the SF midnight screening…and I didn't see ANYONE who looked under the age of 18.

  44. 44

    AMAZING!!!

  45. 45

    Re: wildstrawberry2

    I agree… OBVIOUSLY low budget…

  46. 46

DONT GET ME WRONG, I LOVE ME SOME ROBERT PATTINSON, AND THE BOOKS WERE AMAZING….BUT THAT WAS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT MOVIE I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME…I HAD TEARS FROM LAUGHTER

  47. 47

I thought it was the most terribly awkward movie I've ever seen. I laughed the whole time it was so bad.

  48. 48

TRUE BLOOS HAS BETTER SPECIAL EFFECTS

  49. 49

Re: harrybalsac thinks ur an asshole! – Tastes like candy, huh?

  50. 50

No it was horrible, they took an ok book with a decent story line and ruined it big time!

The whole movie was full of bad acting and awkward silences. He is a horrible Edward and she is a terrible Bella

And what was with her frickin ticks during the hospital scene where she was telling Edward to never leave her? Its like she couldn't cry so she just twitched

  51. 51

freakin hottie fest! it was a really nice adaptation of the book. i

  52. 52

    SEEEEING IT TONIGHTTTT!

  53. 53

Read the book. If you don't read the book you might be lost…but it's still worth it to look at Robert Pattinson! I loved it.

  54. NatB. says – reply to this

    54

    No, I didn't watch..
BUT I live in Brazil and Twilight will release just in dezember 19 :(

  55. 55

No. Have not. Will not. Never will. Don't care.

  56. 56

I liked it a lot, even though I think that some of the scenes they translated on screen looked kind of cheesy (when he sparkled…). But overall, slick movie. Casting was genius. You should totes see it even if you haven't read the books. I went with my bf who never has read them and he really liked the movie. I didn't start reading the books until I saw the trailer online this summer. ;) I want to see it again, for sure.

  57. 57

I saw the movie last night at the midnight showing. I've read the books. The books are more detailed then the movie. But reguardless. I loved the movie. And cannot wait to see if they pla on making more. As a matter of fact Im going back to see the movie again today. Dedication!

  58. Ells says – reply to this

    58

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO tired of this movie shit. I can't stand this asshole of Robet wasthisface. He's every fucking where. It's super fucking annoying. The asshole. I read all the books and they are really good. I am a professional Historian and I read a lot but, I tried the books just to check wat all the fuzz was about and I love them but, the fucking movie is just tooooo fucking much woth all those 13 year olds screaming whenever the fucktard opens his mouth to speak nothing but shit. On every interview that he has given, the fucktard talks shit. It's like he's got shit for brains. So stupid. He thinks he's made a career. Dumb ass, his fans are not nearly done with puberty. Fucking idiot. On the other hand, I LOOOOOOOOOVE Jackson Rathbone. Rathbone is sweet and cultured and completely smart. Too bad people like stupidity and support it. FUCK the Twilight movie! and if Robert reads this, get a fucking brain you idiot.

  59. KDick says – reply to this

    59

For a movie based off a book I think it was pretty damn good!!!! Sure there are parts that weren't in it that I missed, but that's always gonna happen because it's a long ass movie and they have to do SOMETHING to keep you on your toes… It was amazing….

  60. 60

    Re: sparklez
OME AMAZING!!!!!! It was an interesting style, they had a low budget but did absolutely amazing!. It felt like you were right there with them, Rob and Kristen were really good.
Even if you haven't read the books, you'll be fine, half the people I went with hadn't and they loved it and want to read the books now, even the guys!

  61. 61

Re: _Alice_ – HOT CHERRY PIE!

  62. 62

    I loved it!!!!

  63. 63

the movie had a super low budget, a terrible director and actors who didnt want to be there. The acting sucked give or take a few characters. If you haven't read the books you wont like it at all. It sounds a lot better on paper and it could have been done better with a better cast, and more money. besides that you'll laugh at inappropriate times from the bad acting and poor editing.

  64. 64

Re: satin_lilly – Thanks!! I'll go see it this weekend!

  65. 65

Re: broadwaygal328 – exactly….how much did you laugh during the fight seen?

  66. 66

you can obviously tell they are flying from wires….retarted

  67. 67

Obviously those of you that believe it is for 13 year olds haven't read the books. In "Breaking Dawn" there are several chapters of sex being it is their honeymoon. Yeah, this series was meant for kids! I didn't get a chance to go to the midnight release but I will be going this weekend for sure!!

  68. 68

I'm so tired from the midnight showing. All I can say is I loved it, it was cool, and I hope to be seeing it again soon.

  69. 69

Wow the movie was a disaster. I was so excited to see it last night and I got my hopes up because I was let down to say the least. The movie was complete cheese. Hands down this movie had the WORST acting I have ever seen in my life!!! I thought Robert Pattington was gunna be good because he was amazing in Harry Potter but he sucked. Kirsten Stewert was shit had no emotion on her face or in her voice when something happened. This movie chouldn't even be compared tp the book because the book was 100% better then that peice of shit. GIVE ME MY 7.00 BACK!!!!!
oh and Stephanie Meyer makes a way obvious cameo

  70. 70

Re: christys – Yeah, adults with the reading level and comprehension of 13 year old girls.

  71. 71

Okay… I was not impressed with the movie. I'm a big vampire movie/show watcher and reader… This was probably the worst out of all Vampire movies comparing them to Underworld, Blade, Buffy, Queen of the Damned, Interview with the Vampire, True Blood, ect. I've read all four books too and I thought the books were amazing. But I thought the movie was very choppy. The introduction of the movie was too brief and quick. Some of the casting was really great. Like Robert Pattinson, the vampire Cullens, Bella's dad, the characters Mike and Jessica were good too…. They all did amazing in their acting as well. Some bad choices of actors were Kristen Stewart. She fit the part physically because she had the look of how she was described in the book. But her acting was TERRIBLE!!! Some other bad choices of casting were the two guys who played Eric and Tyler. They were bad actors as well. And what really got me mad was how they never showed anyone with vampire fangs…. I MEAN COME ON!!!! It's a vampire movie. All Vampires have fangs when they get excited or angry!!!!

  72. 72

Re: Sonya E – Uh, it says Young Adult right on the book, you douchebag.

  73. 73

wow, it's pretty cut down the center on good or bad. I have tickets to see it tomorrow with my 14 year old. I know that it won't be as good as the book, but I'm hoping it's not as shiteous as some are saying.

  74. 74

LOVE IT! LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!

  75. 75

    crap !
    it was amazing !
    i loved it.
    every second of it.
i think it will do VERY well.
watch out for the sequels (:

btw, rob pattinson was incredible in the movie.
he has a huge acting career ahead of him !

  76. 76

looks like every other vampire movie ever made. Special effects are good…..seems to be up there with Trueblood

  77. 77

It was so so. They left a lot out. Like the resturant scene, the bloodtyping scene, cafetria scene, the shopping and driving with alice and jasper to phoinex, chaned Port Angels scene, when she talks about radiactive spiders…

  78. 78

biggest disappointment of my life. there was no flow to the movie. it was just like highlights of the book slapped together in a really choppy way. they completely butchered the most pivotal/best scene of the series (the meadow). i am so sad. the acting was good, but the characters never really developed. it had SO much potential. it could have been great with a different director. BUT rob was phenomenal as edward like ammmaaaazing perfection.

  79. 79

I dont remember the last time I spent that much time simultaneously cringing and laughing. I dont think its that Rob cant act,per say, he was just terribly out of his element. No one seemed able to really convey much emotion. I couldnt tell if Rob was confused, surprised or angry (not to mention going to throw up when he first smelt her?) All in all It was entertaining …perhaps for the wrong reasons….but entertaining none-the-less.

  80. 80

It was oooook. And that's it. Nothing veered away from the book. and R-patz was perfect. But it just didnt have a great emphasis. and there were so many moments of cheesiness that i sat embarrassed in my seat. Needless to say i was disappointed when the movie was done. Hopefully with all the money being made by all the tweeners, the second might be better!

  81. 81

I don't think I would recommend the film for people who haven't read the books. there are a lot of subtle hints to character personalities that you wouldn't get unless you knew the whole story. They did a pretty good job of fitting everything in, even though it didn't exactly follow the book. I can't wait for the next one!!!!

  82. 82

Seriously why should older people here care? The book is for TEENS and PRE-TEENS, obviously the movie will interest THEM. You all are seriously lame if you're over 20 and EXPECTING this movie to be a mature adult-styled film. EEESSSHHH.

  83. 83

Re: nycity84 – you are 100% correct. SO EFFING CHOPPY

  84. 84

I didn't know what to expect as I've never read the books. The movie was absolutely awesome!!! I loved it!!!! And I'm not a teenager. Great movie!

  85. 85

Yes…nowhere near as good as the book (but that would have been impossible)…still definitely worth seeing…
I did have to threaten to beat the asz of some screaming teen girls a couple times in order to get them to shut up…
I swear one chic had a "When Harry Met Sally" orgasm moment during one of Rob P.'s scenes….
My main issues with the movie were:
    1. They never used one of the most infamous lines out of the book,…"Do I dazzle you…frequently" —what a friggin jip
    2. They changed around the "you're exactly my brand of heroin" line which is like messing with the holy grail line of the book series—do NOT mess with perfection
    3. They didn't develop any of the other Cullen characthers…They could have added 15 minutes to the movie and had the whole Cullen family history explanation put in while Bella was getting the house tour. The script was not clear and anyone who had not read the books will probably be confused.

  86. 86

You have to have read and loved the books to come close to understanding what the fascination is about the movie. I'm going tonight…and I can't wait to see if anything close to my love for the book is portrayed.

  87. 87

    Re: Shakermaker

I'm 22 and I loved it!!! So Shut up your mouth its an adaptation of a BOOK! For God's sake obviously it'll be different but they captured the core of the book and it was a good movie and I'll bet if they had more moreny they could've done it GREATER than it was!

  88. 88

Re: emolistic – oohhhh when she walked into the biology room and he made that face? i LOST it..from that point on i broke out in quivering laughter and the ppl infront of me were getting PISSED

  89. 89

Not in Twilight, its clearly stated in the books that vampires in Stephenie Meyer's world do not have fangs, thats a cliche that Edward laughs at. Instead their super strength allows them to rip anything apart with their teeth and hands, and their teeth are coated with venom that paralyzes their victims.

  90. 90

Re: Jenny2 – they also made the "so the lion fell in love with the lamb" quote terribly cheesy, while reading it, it makes you sigh, in the movie it butchers it.

  91. 91

That movie shit, throw up and peed on the book. What a JOKE of a movie. Don't see if you actually like the book. Worst acting I've seen since Cameron Diaz in The Holiday.
PS I was really diggin Bella's man voice. *swoon* (not)

  92. 92

Re: Mrs R.P ..get it right – Times where people laughed when they shouldn't have:
1-Every time Edward and Bella stared at each other "meaningfully"
2-the butchered "my brand of heroin" quote
3-basically the meadow scene all together
4-Every time the bad guys attacked someone
    5-When Edward ran..bad special effects
    6-Edward's low budget sparkling
    7- the WHOLE fight scene
8- Bella's screaming and Edwards face while he sucked her blood

  93. 93

i was very dissappointed.. it was too corny! "Hold on tight ya little spider monkey"

    ha

  94. 94

thank god its not out in the UK yet. but high school fucktard musical3 is….why, america do you send us fucking great films one month……then gay shit the next?

  95. 95

WOW CAN PEOPLE BE ANY FUCCIN STUPIDER? HES ASKIN ABOUT THE MOVIE NOT WHO GOT DRUNK ND DIDNT, ASSHOLES. NEWAY I LIKED THE MOVIE VERY MUCH VERY SEXI VAMPIRES IN THE MOVIE BUT I THINK THE BOOK WAS BETTER!

  96. 96

Re: broadwaygal328 – I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard when Edward was running with Bella on his back!! That was hilarious!!

  97. 97

    Re: sparklez

I wouldnt read the book before you see the movie, because movies are never as good as the books. I`ve seen through previews how they decided to do some scenes and was a little dissapointed. I still want to see the movie though.

  98. 98

Yea i saw it and I liked it. I'm not gonna lie though, some parts were just awkward, and you couldn't help but laugh at how cheesy some of the lines were. Special effects weren't that good either…

  99. 99

It is such poor story telling. So many other movies I'd rather see.

  100. 100

Re: broadwaygal328 – lmfao!!!!! you got it down to a t!
