Hell yes I saw it at midnight. Robert Pattinson is GORGEOUS as Edward. Thought the movie rushed a little, but I enjoyed the movie - going again tonight!!!
Re: broadwaygal328 – #92
1. Yes, the whole Edward's face while sucking the venom out of Bella was so PAINFULLY bad—I just tried to concentrate on the small view of Jasper in the background and not pay attention to how badly that part was being done.
I must say… Jasper was FABULOUSLY tasty throughout the movie. The poor guy had like no lines, backstory/character development—but he made for some mighty nice scenery in many parts!!!
2. And WTH is up with having Bella in her underwear in her bed kissing Edward… so much for the shy, self-conscious teen who had to work up the nerve to undress for him on their wedding night—totally destroyed the whole content of who Bella is.
3. And Rob P. does look "dazzling" in many shots but they rely on that as the way to fall in love with Edward…They show NONE of his old-fashioned/gentlemanly nature. No overly polite manerisms or the old fashioned tip of the waitress for the good/private table or the constant small loving ways he cares for Bella… He seemed more like a whiny/needy guy who was sex starved instead of an immortal being who found the reason for his existence
I could sit and watch pattinson in anything - i did love the movie but i'm not sure if someone who didn't read the books would like it. the "jumping inot trees" scenes weren't great and not even in the book. i can't wait for the next ones, but I hope the director will change. I love the cast, though, i hope they stay!!! the make-up was weird…
————————————————-
Hi Mrs. Pattinson! Your son was awesome, as always.
Re: broadwaygal328 – that is already really cheesy…the whole book is.
Re: Nikilicious – sooooo where do you liveS? haha
i liked it
ok let me first say i l oved the books and the movie had so much potential but because of the budget and that horribly cheesy theme song they played throughout it ended up coming across as a lifetime movie!! i thought the actors were well casted but didnt quite grasp wether they were supossed to be serious of humorous!!! some people had said "awkward" and i think thats a very good choice of words!!i really hope they make enough money to make a sequel because it really could be sooo much better if they had the money to! even the "pale" makeup came across as lookin like bad highschool play makeup! please someone give them some money because this movie could have been awesome!! it definately had alot of very funny moments that i laughed hysterically at but the bad part is i laughed hysterically also at some unitentially funny moments too because of the cheese, as did the rest of the theater! i felt that the actors played up on the cheese factor as well! some were very poorly casted like jacob. he seemed very awkward and looked terrible in that wig/hair extensions. last but not least is that u will still be able to follow the story line if u hadnt read the book but i dont think i'd reccomend seeing it because you will get a not fair bad opinion of it because of how ridiculously cheesy it was. thats the worst thing i can say about it is the cheese factor but then again …….a movie being cheesy is NOT GOOD!!
I liked it. I thought it was a good adaptation of the book. I think they left out one of the most critical scenes that sets up New Moon…the birthday party.
Jasper…what a mess. Rathbone was like a combo of Martin Short's face, Andy Dick's hair and the surprised face not too far removed from that of Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka. I have no idea if he is a good actor or not, the part just didn't allow for any acting.
The make-up and hair were horrible. I'm a commercial MUA and I am mortified that someone thought that work was up to par and suitable for a major theatrical release. Jasper's and Jacob's horrible extensions brought on MUCH laughter throughout the film.
The mood music was almost a deal breaker, it was like bad '80s, horror, B-movie music. Sooo bad…very distracting.
And the flashbacks and her dream were a total joke. I couldn't take it seriously. It was cheesy. I think they wasted an opportunity with the schmaltzy execution.
But even with moments that were hysterical and not meant to be…and lines that were beyond cheesy (as many are in the book)…I found the movie entertaining and that's what counts.
I loved the books and was all caught up in the mania. I went to see movie(I was sooo excited) and it was TERRIBLE!!!! I almost left and I wish I would have it kept gettin worse and worse. Not to mention the acting was so bad my friends and I were all laughing soo hard. It was like a bad 80's film….. I want my money back!
I used to be one of those who made fun of Twilight. But then I read it. And I have eaten all my ignorant words. It's not gay, it's not stupid, it's not meant for little girls. It is a really good book, plain and simple. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've heard it is not as good as the books, which is always the case. But don't turn away from the books until you've read them. And really read them. I started reading and wasn't into it, but then I kept going and it gets impossible to put it down. So I would hope you go out and read it!!
I waited for this movie for a very long time, then i waaited 7 hours also. I was very excited for the movie. I finally got into the theatre because all 6 theatres in the movies were sold out and had very long long lines. The book is more of a romance novel rather then vampires, their major issue is that he is a vampire. They tried making the movie more appealing to men because the book would probably have 0% appeal to them. The movie was not long enough, the biology scene was absolutly horrifying but once after that scene when james laurant and victoria come into play the whole thing moves rather swiftly but before that its absolutly horrifying. I'm a huge twilight fan and i think they needed to develope edward and bellas relationship A LOT MORE but other wise it was decent
WARNING: if you have not read the book keep this in mind you will enjoy it more… bella and edward take almost a year to fall in love with eachother and their relationship should be develeoped more but it is in the book
Loved it! If you're a Twilight fan - go see it with an open mind.

Re: jessejames82 –
Good Lord, do we share a brain?
Re: jessejames82 – yes, the budget was terribly low for such a blockbuster movie. but then again, i remember seeing one of the harry potters scenes where they're playing quid. and it looked close to animated…the worst scene for me was the "flying"…that was HORRID, but it would be like making a movie with Juno's budget and adding dragons and shiz, i REALLY have high hopes for the second film and despite the small budget cheese animations of this one I did appreciate it. has a sort of indie, low budget cult film.
Re: Jenny2 – Your totally right!!!!
Well, it was NO WHERE NEAR as good as the book, but it wasnt a complete dissapointment.
I thought it was a bit choppy though. It would be daytime and then bam…its night. but whatever, it was worth $8.25 to see Robert Pattinson in those sunglasses. : )
saw it. loved it. rob was hot.
AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
i thought it was absolutely amazing. i know there was no way for it to be as good as the book, but it didnt disappoint by any means. it was perfectly cast. and when they went off the page, it worked out amazingly for the movie.
the only qualm i have is that the development of the relationship was a bit too quick, but that is just a very minor issue.
OVERALL! FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
I am in love with the books and that stupid catherine director person just ruined them!!!! kristen and rob have no chemistry, it is just awkward and they changed sooo much important stuff……sucks that they made such a shitty movie form such an awesome book….It really was painful to sit through…
Re: Mrs R.P ..get it right –
OH MY GOSH!!!! that face he made when she walked in to bio the first time…priceless…i was cracking up. he looked like he was gonna vomit everywhere. hahahahah!
I really liked it…Im a huge fan of the books and i thought the movie was a decent adaptian. Hopefully if they do the sequel New Moon the can up the budget a bit tho lol
Twilight was AMAMZING!!!!!!! I saw a midnight showing of it and I love it. My husband even liked it, much to my surprise!!!! I will definately be seeing this movie a few more time in the next week!!!!!!! So GREAT!!!!!! Edward & Bella Forever!!!!!
i saw this movie on tuesday night and that it was hellacious, me and all my friends were laughing the whole entire time at how extremely cheesy and lame everything was. So I then went to the midnight showing last night to see if it still sucked the second time around and no surprise here, was still one of the worst movies i've seen in a while. They didn't stay true to the novel at all and left out things that would have been great for the movie. And to top it all off the acting was terrible from everyone in the movie. Good job ruining a good book hollywood!
IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!! I FELT LIKE I SHOULD HAVE BEEN WATCHING THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!!!!!!!!!! and i freaking love those books. i am crazy dissapointed
Shiz…..so it is a bloody comedy. I can't wait until it leaks on the net. Fucking hilarious.
AND FOR THE RECORD HE WAS HARDLY SPARKELING!! IT LOOKED LIKE MAN GLITTER….COULDNT T HEY BORROW THAT CRYSTEL BODY SUITE FROM BRITNEY SPEARS "TOXIC" VIDEO?
Re: smnlvr – they had no chemistry at all!!! it was so awkward between them
they BOTCHED it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm so mad!!
I LOVED IT!!!
R PATTS. FAN FREAKING TASTIC!!!
it was perfectly coordinated with the book…..one who may have not read the book would not enjoy it half as much
I love it, something very different from the over and over typical vampire (which is understanding why some wouldn't like it). Its was totally what i expected. So modern, would definitely consider it a chick flick. Worth the stay up late!
i loved it
people on perez hilton didn't seem to though
oh well!
the only thing worth seeing this movie for is robert pattinson's hot ass… and thats it… he does an awesome job.. but everyone else pretty much blows… they basically took scenes out of the book and threw them up on screen… could've been acted way better.. and whoever thinks kristen stewart is some big acting genius needs shot.. She's def. not right for Isabella Swan… soo.. whoever thought to cast her.. is nuts. Go see it if you want.. you won't regret it…. just don't get your hopes up for some epic movie.. when it's basically a 6 from 1-10…. if rob wasn't in it.. i'd have nothing to stare at and forget what a piece of shit this was.
Re: Glamourpuss15 – #108
My Dear–get your Twilight book series straight…
The birthday party does NOT happen in Twilight…you must have bought the cheap paper back copy instead of the hardcover like diehard TWERDS do. The birthday party is the first chapter in NEW MOOn–the 2nd book and is given as a bonus at the end of Twilight in the paper back books.
It will be the beginning of the NEXT movie…
Know what you are talking about before you try and bitch…
saw it. LOVED it. could've used better special effects and I'd have like to see The Cullens have more screen time then jessica and mike, though their characters were quite funny in the movie. other than that, Robert and Kristen have amazing chemistry. that kiss scene. wow. hope they get to make the rest of them. I know they'll never be as good as the books…most movies aren't, but I thought they did a great job and I'd love to see the other three books on the big sceen in the near future.
Re: Jenny2 – My bad…I've read them in such rapid succession…they blur into one.
Just got back and was not disappointed! It should have been a little bit longer and was a smidgen different from the book! The book is always better in any case but to visualize it was amazing and I cannot wait for the sequels!
It was SO bad it was funny! Everyone in the theater was cracking up during the serious scenes. It was just bad. Rob Pattinson did a good job though.
i was suprised how much i truely loved this movie. i saw the midnight showing and it was AMAZING!!
The first movie, like the book, was ok. But as the books do get better, so will the movies (hopefully!)
I loved it , I didnt love it as much as the book of course , it cant even compare,
But honestly it was better than nothing
I think for the people complaining , they expected to much , they Obviously dont know much about movie making, they had to cut out a lot , change things up a bit , there no way 500 pages can fit in 2 hours, if so we would be sitting in our seats for at least 6 hours,
&& besides that why they say BASED OF The novel , twilight!!
Anywho , I think Rob && kristen did an amazing job.
for that person who said Kristen lacked a lot of emotion, well you need to go back and reread the novel , cleary Bella never shows any emotion , it says so in the book, when Edward asked her why hadnt she gone in shock, and she replies I kno how to keep unpleasent memories hidden. that why Edward cant tell if she loves him or not, she NEVER showed much emotion, Kristen was a good bella, and so was Edward , his facial expression where most important, and he did a great job, && the chemistry was there. the movie had its cheesy moments, and I laughed at how dumb some scences where but over all , I enjoyed it. Hopefully the New moon will have better special effects, you can tell they didnt have much money to work with.
AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!! BEST MOVIE EVER!
It was worth the money to watch Rob for 2 hours - damn that man is hot!!!
I saw it at midnight and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont are what other people say, this was a great movie. Robert Pattinson is the greatest and he looked so sexy!!!!!
&& I agree , ROB did an amazing job!!
I re read the novel the night before the movie to refresh my memory, if I hadnt I may have been like WTF , but a lot of it made sense
the actors themselves stated they spends hours over analyzing the characters because they wanted to get them just right and I think they did, You have to re read the book and pay attention to details,
Bella= never shows emotion
Edward= the first book focused a lot on his expressions, through bellas eyes
the movie was rushed, but there was a point in the movie where Edward says he had been watching her sleep for months, sorta their way of indicating everything we where watching hadnt happend in a matter of weeks like it seemed
OOO and did anyone notice that the part from the preview, where edward and Emmet are by his car, and Emmett says "edward she's not one of us" was totally missing from the movie, DID I miss is???
it was actually very faithful to the book. They directly quoted from it, and kept teeny details in such as the fact that Bella ordered mushroom ravioli at the restaurant. A lot of the quotes from the book were butchered though. the my brand of heroin and the lion and the lamb quotes had poor delivery.
while bella did show little emotion in the books, kristen had -500 on a scale of 1-10 on emotion. She was robotic, looked bored, confused, and whenever she tripped it looked overly staged and unnatural.
Robert mumbled over all of his lines and came across as too whiny. They cut out his gentleman-like charm and just made him a brooding angsty boy.
I don't think any of the actors besides the ones who played Emmett and Alice really understood their character. They looked like they hated being in this hyped up movie.
Re: Coris06 – its called the deleted scenes feature on the dvd =P
Re: Jenny2 – Jasper is pretty quiet throughout the first two though. We really don't learn his back story until Eclipse.
Are you kidding? It was awful! Instead of playing him angst ridden Robert played Edward mentally deficient for the first half of the movie. Not to mention that they decided to cut out a bunch of parts of the book and instead did these stupid montages. The flashback scenes were ridiculous, the makeup was awful (hey if you’re going to make someone pale you might not want to leave them with a mask that ends at the chin line), the cinematography was amateur, the score was unbearable at best, and I can’t image that the director was sober. Yes there was chemistry between Robert and Kristen, but not enough to carry the movie through.
I loved the books, I gave up sleep to go see the movie at midnight, and I have to say that it was painful. I had to actually hold my hand in front of my mouth to keep from laughing out loud during some scenes i.e., the glitter skin scene, or the first time he smells her in the science lab, but the cream of the crop was when her was sucking her arm. Do yourself a favor read the book again and skip the movie. And to the people responsible for making it, let someone else take on the next one. You not only didn’t do the book justice, but you made it a laughing stock.
i haven't seen it yet but i'm definately gonna see it after the weekend.. it's probaly NOT the best movie ever made but i'm sure i'll like it ..i'm an adult and i loved the books and i'm sure most of the no votes are probaly the people who don't want to see it
i saw it at midnight and i never read the book and i loved it! i think if you havent read the book its better for you cause ur not comparing it well anyways i loved it! and i dont normaly like this type of moviee!
it was really really cheesy. i laughed at most of the lines that were meant to be awwwwed at
Re: broadwaygal328 – so detailed that they weren't drinking cokes or at a very private table?
The movie was not as good as the book. If the budget was larger, I'm sure it would have been better–the few special effects looked so cheesy. I'm going to take my husband to see it one Monday, so we'll see what a non-Twihard thinks.
Re: torilovesyou. – what i mean is that its way more faithful than many other movies based on books or movies based on video games have been, they actually took an effort to pick things out of the book and put it in the movie. The ravioli was just an example, but you can NEVER expect a movie to be EXACTLY like the book or there really is no point in seeing it.
Re: BBD hates everyone! –
BUT srsly kids. I had to push myself to get through the first book. It sucked. I've read better fan fictions online, written by those thirteen year old girls. I have no idea how that flaming peice of shit got published.
I'm going to go see the movie when it hits dollar theatres so I can get fucking wasted and scream about how badly it sucks. And how fucking hot Robert Pattinson is.
:D
Welcome to your CAMP ROCK, Twilight Fans.
I saw it last night and was very disappointed. The story I didn't think was that bad… I didn't like the butchering of some lines or key scenes. I SADLY didn't like Rob Pattinson in all his scenes, he kept making the strangest faces and doing weird things with his eyes that were comical when they were not supposed to be. But then when he was 'happy' in some scenes he was perfect… it was the awkwardness of his acting in some scenes that was just uncomfortable for me the viewer!! I am going again tonight with like 20 people, and I am not really even looking forward to it. Looking fwd to the Margarita's afterwards tonight. I am hoping I will laugh less and be less embarrassed for the actors tonight… I am sure that will NOT be the case. I was SOOO SAD that I didn't love it. I liked it… but def didn't come remotely close come to loving it. My friends keep asking me about it and I just say my lips are sealed… I don't want to say sadly it was a HUGE disappointment when they are seeing it tonight.
RPATS… easy on the BUG EYED scenes!! DOn't take it SOOOO seriously,…. relax for New Moon PLEASE!! (although a big chunk will be Rpats less…)
yes n im gonna watch it again
Ihavent seen it yet.
HA!!! NOTHING WILL EVER BEAT THE HARRY POTTER SERIES…ONCE AGAIN FUCK TWILIGHT FOR PUSHING HALF BLOOD PRINCE TO NEXT YEAR…
i dont care what people who didnt read the book , and dont understand the complexity between edward and bella relationship , PEOPLE DONT COMPARE TWILIGHT TO UNDERWORLD OR ANYOTHER VAMPIRE MOVIE,THIS IS A MORE MODERN VERSION OF THE TIPICAL VAMPIRE AND I REALLY ENJOYED IT IT WAS AMAZING AND ROB AND KRISTEN DID AN EXELLENT JOB PORTRAYING THEIR CHARACTERS , THEIR CHEMESTRY IS INTENSE , IT MADE ME HYPERVENTILATE, AND THE KISSING SCENE WAS REALLY HOT , TOO BAD THEY CUT SOME SCENES WERE KRISTEN IS KISSING ROB IN THE BLUE SHIRT AND UNDIES , THAT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE GUYS TO THE THEATERS LOL
OHH AND ANOTHER THING I THINK THESE BOOKS (ATLEAST ECLIPSE AND BRAKING DAWN ) SHOULD NOT BE READ BY 12 YEAR OLD THERE R SOME MOMENTS IN THESE BOOKS THAT R MORE FOR 18 YEAR OLDS THANT TWEENS , THERE IS LOTS OF SEX IN BREAKING DAWN AND ONE OR TWO VIOLENT MOMENTS, AND IN ECLIPSE WELL THINGS GET REALLY VIOLENT
SOO YA'LL BETTER READ THE BOOKS BEFORE U JUDGE THE MOVIE
Re: Prof. Minerva McGonagle – Twilight didn't push it, the producers of HP didn't want Daniel Radcliffe to be naked on Broadway during promotion of the movie, Twilight was originally set to come out in December and then switched dates after Harry Potter switched dates. Get your facts straight.
Re: broadwaygal328 – #146
I don't think they were that close to the book…
there's the parts I previously mentioned & little things that they could have/should have done that they know true fans expected.
1. The restaurant—where in the hell was Bella's blue blouse??? The one he totally digs & compliments her on & you find out that that's his favorite color on her–hence in the next 4 books Alice buying her blue outfits. Also–the waitress was suppose to be hot & all over him which was one of the funnier moments from Twilight (and in Midnight sun)–they had some freaky Amy Winehouse look-alike there for less then 2 seconds..
2. Angela does NOT hook up with Eric–and where the heck was short Ben?…they couldn't find a short, pimply faced boy to put at the table in the cafeteria??
3. They totally missed out on bringing in the whole James hunted Alice first connection & how she was made a vampire. Alice has friggin websites/fan groups dedicated to her and they give like nothing regarding her storyline
4. So, they didn't have Jacob tell Bella about the cold ones—how in the heck are they going to fix that when its a big deal that he tells her because that technically breaks the pact as inferred to in book 3 & 4
5. If that chic who plays Rosalie is suppose to resemble "the most beautiful girl in the world"—then I am feeling very good about my rank on the appearance scale. I mean are they kidding? She had chunky thighs, fat cheeks & I have seen catalog models with more striking features.

SOOOO UNBELIEVEBLY AMAZING!!!!!! I LOVED IT SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!
I LOVED it.
I LOVED IT! you have to have read twilight to understand
Re: broadwaygal328 – # 164 it was NOT set to come out in December it was supposed to be out TODAY! And miss think you know it all…the real reason they pushed it was b/c they already had a BLOCKBUSTER with The Dark Knight and didn't have anything for next summer so it also made room for this shit! So YOU get your facts straight and don;t think you can school me on anything Harry Potter!
Ew. Twilight is for little 11 year olds that also idolize hannah montana.
I was so utterly disappointed with this movie. I read the books, I went opening day (although I am a little ashamed to admit it. The movie had a screenplay that wasn't fluid, zero characterization, and aweful, horrible lines. I felt bad for the actors that had to act them out, while I think that mostly everyone was visually pleasing it was mediocre acting. Robert Pattinson tried a little too hard. He is beautiful and had the whole brooding thing, but I feel like he is trying too hard to be taken as a serious actor- YOUR IN A VAMPIRE MOVIE FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. I hope if this movie is optioned for the sequel they will up the budget, pay for the actors to brush up on their acting and pay to have a little better special effects.
I saw it today and it sucked.
I was truly disappointed with the outcome of it.
It seemed choppy-poorly constructed- and they changed way too much.
I love the Harry potter series; the books and movies and I love twilight but the movie was horrible.
Edward(Pattinson) Sounded like he was trying too hard to force a new yorker accent (A really bad one)
I've been reading the books since 2005 and I was excited for the movie. However my excitement was shot down by the crappy movie.
Harry Potter could kick Twilight's ass.
Vampires suck ass.
well i read the book, because all my friends told me to and we would go to the movie together. so i read them, and couldnt stop so i read all 4 of her books in less then 2 weeks. and yesturday when i went to the premiere i got there 2 hours earlier to get a great seat, i was so stoked. when the movie finally came on, i could already point out a million things they left out and changed. i loved the movie, but it was absolutley NOTHING like the book. all the things that made me love the book, they just completley left out in the movie. and the things they left in they changed. so for everyone who havent read the book yet, see the movie….then read the book. then maybe you wont be dissapointed.(:
i watched it
It was phenomenal.
Re: imatotalqt –
finally someone agrees.
my friend & i thought the movie was horrible but all the tweens loved it.
it was the most awkward acting i've ever seen.
Re: Ells – i find it difficult to believe that you're a professional historian given the fact that you're verbally attacking robert pattinson and on a perez hilton blog..most professional people don't have the time to waste commenting on how much you depise a celebrity on a blogsite…if you are indeed a professional i think you need to invest more time in your work rather than harbouring animosity towards a person you don't even know…just a suggestion…
i never want to see this or read it
I was VERY disappointed with the movie.i loved the books…i pathically finished the WHOLE series in less than a week..that's dedication! i understand that with the fact that the movie was bought by a small independent production company it's hard to get everything in the book b/c thats too expensive and there is 500 pages in twilight..but CMON! If i thought edward & bella's love was rushed in the book..the movie was horrendous!one min edward is hating her and running away, the next he's in love?! i also read the unpublished copy of midnight sun online so i understand why he falls for bella..but for people that haven't read midnight sun let alone the series will not get what the hype is all about! EVERYTHING WAS SOO RUSHED..i thought that at the end of the movie they were already going to be going into breaking dawn! it was that rushed! the acting was kinda bad too..
kristen said in an interviw that she likes to read..but she never read the series! i highly recommend that she reads it..idc that her voice is deeo cause she cant change that..but her acting she can! next time have passion..bella is very OCD about edward..i didnt feel/see that in the movie! Edward's "running" was very bad special effects..i swore i saw the chord..haha (im laughing right not just thinking about how bad it was)..his sparkling also looked like he had some kind of sweating problem! And i understand that Taylor ( the guy that plays Jake)may not have his license in real life..but how is a paraplegic driving? In some movie driving scenes they have the car put on top of like a truck so that it moves w/o having the actors actually drive..next time DO THAT! And the whole time sequence was thrown off..in the book bella starts school in sept..in the movie march..in the middle when edward admits that hes been coming to watch bella sleep he says for "the past couple of MONTHS" months= 2 or more..so im thinking that makes that time may..&& already in the beginning when edward run away he was gone for atleast two weeks..so it should have been mid-may, early june when he states that…it takes james a couple of weeks to come, fight them and what not..then bella goes to the hosp for atleast a month..so that would make her be taken out by atleast early if not mid-june! HOW DID THEY GO TO PROM?
im going to assume that most schools in the USA get out by mid june and have prom in mid-may early june? everything was sooo rushed even the timeline! alice was not the happy/hippy alice that they make her out to be in the book..i loved jasper but just cause it looked like he had a stick up his ass the whole movie! haha and i was really upset that they did not show the scenes where all the boys asked bella to the dance! that was soo funny in the book..but in the movie one person, mike, asked and even he was not the same obsessive, good little puppy that he was in the book! once bella dismissed him, he was like "whatever.." and why was angela more outgoing/noisy than jessica? in the book she's supposed to be quiet and nice..not shallow like jessica! AGAIN I KNOW THAT YOU CAN'T FIT EVERYTHING IN..but atleast try and fit in the scenes that most if not everyone will remember and fix the special effects, make ALL the actors read the book and MAYBE my friends and I will consider giving new moon and the rest of the movies 2 hours of our lives && $12!
That was a great film! I got an orgasm after seeing giant Rob on screen! Now they need to come up with an Edward vibrator with vamp teeth (in lieu for rabbit)! I'd be the first in the line for that!
IT WAS AMAZING. IT SURPASSED MY EXPECTATIONS. I WAS JUST EXPECTING TO ENJOY IT BUT I LOVED IT. I WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN…… THE ENDING WAS PERFECT AND BADASS.
I was VERY Disappointed. It didn't even FOLLOW the story line.
AMAZING!! LOVES IT!
GAAAAH!
the most amazing movie ever!
i love love love love love twilight.
I cannot believe how fucking far off the book they were… I know it's always like that… but this was so rearranged and fabricated off the mark that it was what I'd call "loosely based off the book." So on that nerdy lover of the book way, I was annoyed. However, certain parts of it were really fun to watch.. got all giddy and it was fun to watch it with a crowd of girls who screamed their heads off like they had discovered the Beatles for the first time..it was a manic environment in a fun/funny way.
So it was fun to watch, but don't expect much to be as you'd imagined.
i went to the movie last night and i was expecting something completly different !! it dissapointed me that all my favorite parts of the books were either MIA or changed into other scenes.. but i did like the movie
OMG it was amazing
I'm seeing it sunday! I have a feeling its going to suck. at least the beautiful robert pattinson is in it
I posted b4 that I saw it last night and I was disappointed…. well 20 of us had already bought tix for today as well and I wasn't looking forward to seeing it again as I originally thought I would be…. cut to… seeing the movie again I liked it SOOO MUCH more. I didn't feel the Edward overacting as much the 2nd time… maybe I was more tired being it was Midnight showing… I am so glad I saw it AGAIN… Cause I enjoyed it SOOOO SOOO much more!!
I am so sick of people saying that it was "low budget" and thats why it isn't that great. It had a budget of 37 million dollars which is not conisdered low budget under any guild agreement. A shit story is a shit story plain and simple. Terrible dialog, even worse acting and the cinematography is just awful. I am sure you have all seen Pan's Labyrinth, that film was shot beautifully, the script and acting was phenomenal and guess what it had half the budget.
i loved it. it wasnt perfect but it was definately a great adaptation. true to the characters and true to the book. kristen stewart rocked bella. she made the movie for me. and rob was an adorable edward. it was funny and cute! =]
I saw a midnight showing of it and absolutely loved it!! I am had never read the books but was weirdly excited anyways…my best friend with me had read the books and she had to explain some things to me but other than that it was really easy to catch on to….a great movie and I will be seeing it again!!
