And, of course, since Sexy Sarah was involved there was a ton of press there to capture all the moments on the turkey farm.
But, after the pardon ceremony, things took a turn for the crazy!
Clueless Sarah decided to talk shop with the reporters in front of some turkey slaughter contraption.
This is not a joke. Turkey heads get chopped off in the background as S.S. Palin talks government stuff!!!!

You're twisting the words. By definition, a hypo-allergenic dog does not exist, HOWEVER, there are dogs that exist that are okay for people who normally have allergies to dogs. It all depends on the person, the extent of their allergies and what types of dogs they tend to be allergic to.

In theory, I understand what Palin defenders are saying in a knee-jerk reaction about it being more important to save human lives than save animals, and that animals feed hungry children. But…um…unfortunately to say, saving EVERY child–and choosing not to teach youths about pregnancy prevention–means you're going to be bringing a whole LOT more children into the world whose parent or parents can't afford to feed them, which means you're going to have to kill a whole lot more animals. No issue is cut and dry people.

Can Sarah Palin ever be taken seriously? Palin expressed appreciation for "so many good Americans who are just desiring of their government to kind of get out of the way and allow them to grow and progress and allow our businesses to grow and progress." This typical Republican rhetoric is completely out of touch with the concerns of thousands of Americans.
It would be nice if the national mood were one of looking forward to growth and progress. In reality, millions are just hoping they can hang on to their homes, jobs and health insurance–and wouldn't mind at all if the government started developing the "green" job opportunities associated with alternative energy and establishing a national health care system. In part, those are the reasons the Obama-Biden ticket prevailed over McCain-Palin. Palin, like the rest of her Republican colleagues, is as oblivious to these realities as she is to the plight of the turkeys.

It's ridiculous that everything was blurred out, most people cannot handle the truth of how these animals are killed. People should be killing them themselves instead of hiring it out, but if not we should at least be able to watch what happens without censorship. This is another way we shield ourselves from reality and the taking of a life. Did you notice how long it struggled before it died? The bleeding out while it's still alive takes a long time. I wouldn't want that to happen to me-so I'm choosing a to have a turkey-free thanksgiving!

Was it the way that the Democrat in charge of the House Finances, Barney Frank, and the Senate finance committe, Chris Dodd, successfully fought off all attempts at stricter oversight and regulations on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?
